It's also effective at clearing out blackheads and whiteheads. While other oil cleansers do clean well, I often felt a slight roughness on areas like my cheeks. But with this, my entire face feels silky smooth. I'm not entirely sure if it's non-irritating, but I haven't noticed any redness or irritation.   Pros

  It's as effective at removing sebum as the oil cleansers we commonly use! It has a lemony scent, and after washing, your skin feels deeply hydrated! My husband and I used it together, and since he tends to have a lot of blackheads, it's been incredibly effective! I've attached before and after photos of my husband's blackheads to show the difference.

  Cons

  There are no downsides! It's really great. The only 'con' according to my husband's laziness is that, due to the nature of oil cleansing, you need to rinse two or three times.

  It removes makeup so thoroughly that you don't even need to double cleanse.

  There's minimal residue after washing. Unlike cheaper cleansing oils I've used that didn't emulsify well, this one definitely does, which gave me a sense of reassurance. My previous cleansing oil, probably due to its low price, barely emulsified 80% of the time. I have quite a few blackheads, so I've been using this primarily for blackhead management. While I can't say there's been a dramatic improvement, I've been using it daily as part of my skincare routine, and I've noticed my blackheads gradually becoming lighter and less noticeable. However, I should mention that I also use a sebum softener once every one or two weeks, so that could be contributing to the results. But when I'm not using the softener, I rely on this cleansing oil for blackhead care. The fact that my blackheads haven't significantly increased suggests that it's effective for maintenance. Personally, I love the fresh lemon scent of the oil - it seems I've discovered a new preference!
