  Pros

  • The water-like texture is perfect for those like me who dislike thick oils. It's surprisingly generous in quantity, so it should last a while! (I have sensitive skin, so I used it every other day instead of daily for cleansing.) Also, the packaging is beautiful! • I've tried various cleansing oils briefly to remove sebum, makeup, etc., but my sensitive skin would immediately break out. However, this product is gentle and doesn't clog pores. So far, my skin hasn't had any adverse reactions, so I'm really satisfied using it! I'm just so grateful and in love with it for not irritating my skin... • When I followed the instructions carefully, I was amazed to see sebum coming out of my nose pores while massaging... And after use, my blackheads are noticeably less visible, which is fantastic! • The cleansing effectiveness isn't bad either! While it doesn't instantly remove waterproof mascara or eyeliner, they come off quickly with a bit of gentle rubbing.

  Cons

  It's not really a drawback, but... When I first used it, no matter how much I washed, my skin didn't feel squeaky clean. I kept washing and ended up finishing my cleansing routine in that state, haha! If you prefer that squeaky clean feeling, keep this in mind when using the product. The price might be a bit steep for those who use cleansing oil daily... It would be nice if they could lower the price just a little...

  As soon as you pump it, a refreshing lemon scent gently wafts out, making for a pleasant cleansing experience. I usually only wear sunscreen, and when I've used cleansing oils in the past, I disliked the slippery feeling after washing, which led me to double cleanse and left my skin feeling too dry. However, this product is different - even with just one cleanse, it rinses off cleanly without leaving an oily residue. It feels as if I've just washed with water, leaving my skin soft and smooth.

  Cons

  Those who prefer a squeaky-clean feeling might not be fans. The price seems a bit high for the amount you get. Other than that, I didn't find any drawbacks!

  This is a review from The Hwahae Testers. I have combination dehydrated skin and occasionally get blemishes. - Decent cleansing effectiveness Being an oil cleanser, it thoroughly removes even mascara. I usually use it for heavier makeup including mascara, rather than just sunscreen, and it cleanses effortlessly! - Ingredients I've known for a while that they extract good oils, but experiencing it firsthand, it's really great. I used it without any blemishes or skin changes. - Blackhead management I typically manage my skin with just oil, without any special treatments. While it doesn't happen every time, occasionally when I massage my nose area vigorously, something comes out, and afterwards my skin feels clean, which is satisfying.

  Cons

  There is a slight residual feeling typical of oils... I personally prefer my skin to feel squeaky clean, so I always follow up with a second cleanse after using the oil! Also, compared to the Number oil from Numbuzin that I've been using, which emulsifies quickly with water, this one requires a bit more effort to wash off...

  Pros

  This is a review from The Hwahae Testers. I have skin that tends to develop blemishes when using cleansing oils. However, I'm always on the lookout for a cleansing oil that works for me. The reason is that cleansing oils can remove sunscreen without double cleansing, and they last much longer than cleansing balms. That's why I applied for this event. Advantages: - No blemishes appeared. Usually, I get blemishes when using cleansing oils, but with this product, I didn't experience any during use. Great! - Lasts longer (than cleansing balms). I used to use cleansing balms because cleansing oils always caused blemishes, but cleansing balms run out so quickly. That's why I was searching for a suitable cleansing oil. Personally, I used up a 200ml cleansing balm in 2 months, but a 200ml cleansing oil lasts over 2 months, which is great. - No need for double cleansing for sunscreen. It can remove sunscreen, eyebrow makeup, and lipstick without double cleansing. (I'm currently using a mineral sunscreen.) Since my skin is very dry, I try to avoid double cleansing, so it's really great that it removes sunscreen without needing to double cleanse. I feel like my dry skin improves just by avoiding double cleansing.

  Disadvantages: - It's expensive. The price is higher compared to other products. Keep an eye out for sales. - Feels slightly less cleansed without double cleansing. (Both a con and a pro) While it's an advantage that it removes sunscreen and lipstick without double cleansing, when you actually skip the double cleanse, it feels like something is left behind at the end. (Skin doesn't feel squeaky clean after washing) At first, this is because it doesn't leave that squeaky clean feeling, but for those with dry skin, I recommend resisting the temptation to double cleanse and quickly applying your skincare routine instead. Actually, I liked that it didn't leave a squeaky clean feeling.

  Tip

  Pro tip: For people with dry skin who only wear sunscreen, I recommend cleansing just once with this oil instead of double cleansing. Good good! Overall impression: When cleansing oils don't work for you, and cleansing balms run out too quickly, that's when I found this L'Ange Bleu cleansing oil! I intend to repurchase.

  1. Cleansing effectiveness I use a lot of makeup and cleansing oils, and among them, this one's cleansing power is truly excellent! Especially for mascara, which is usually tough to remove. With this, mascara comes off easily with just a couple of swipes. 2. Pleasant scent It's almost unscented, but in a good way... haha!

  1. Slippery texture Maybe it's because I have oily skin, but it felt a bit heavy during use. Those with oily skin will understand... I prefer that squeaky clean feeling, but it's hard to achieve that with just one or two wipes using this product. Other than that, I don't have any other complaints. It seems to be a fairly decent cleansing oil overall.

  Tip

  Try using it for more than just removing makeup! Besides makeup removal, I've been using it for regular cleansing, and it's surprisingly convenient. Especially if you utilize its emulsifying action well, it seems like it could help with blackheads (I've noticed my blackheads have slightly faded since I started using it). I think I'll need to use it a bit longer to know for sure about this effect!

After using various cleansing oils for a decade, I've found that the ideal one should effectively remove makeup while having a slightly thick consistency, leaving the skin feeling not too dry afterwards. Light, water-like oils tend to drip onto clothes, and even if they remove makeup well, they often feel like they're relying more on chemical ingredients rather than the oil itself, which can be unsettling. The Laneige oil has just the right consistency. It removes even mascara effectively and emulsifies well, also doing a great job at removing sebum. Unlike watery cleansing oils that can get into your eyes when removing mascara, this one doesn't. Its thicker texture provides a nice massage feel, and the finish is neither too dry nor slippery! While there's nothing extraordinary to praise about its performance as a cleansing oil, it's simply a solid, reliable product.

  Cons

  It leaves a slightly moisturized finish, so you may need to rinse several times. I personally like a bit of oil residue, but if you prefer a squeaky-clean feel from your cleansing oil, this might not be for you! Also, it's a bit on the pricey side!

  Squeeze a generous amount onto dry hands, massage it in, then add a little water to emulsify. Finally, rinse 20-30 times to leave just the right amount of moisture.
