This is a review of the Hwahae Trial Reviewer. 1. Texture The texture is not watery like water, but has a viscous consistency, so I used it more for absorption rather than cleansing. Because of the viscosity, I felt that my skin was immediately hydrated after just one application! 2. Scent I was wondering if the Black Rice scent would be a bit on the healthy side, but during application, I hardly noticed any scent at all - it was almost unscented! Since I have rhinitis, I may not have been able to smell it well, but the scent was quite neutral. 3. Moisturizing Power As mentioned in the texture part, it felt plump and my skin was immediately hydrated after just one application. So I would apply multiple layers of a lighter toner, and soak a cotton pad with this Black Rice Hyaluronic Toner to use it as a sheet mask. My makeup would then look dewy and well-absorbed the next day. 4. Volume I used this quite generously as a sheet mask, at least once a week. But even then, the volume lasted a really long time and didn't seem to decrease much. You can really use this product liberally without worrying about running out.

The spreadability seems good. I had been using a watery toner, so I was unsure if it was good for my skin or if it was effective, but the Black Rice Toner has some viscosity and spreads smoothly :)) It doesn't flow like water, so it's easy to dispense and apply. After checking the ingredients, I found them to be really great!! So I felt confident about it. It also seems to have good absorption, but I'm not sure about the 'piling' issue that some people mentioned. Maybe it's because I've never applied makeup after using this toner. In my experience, it absorbs quickly ;)) The moisturizing effect is good too, so it's not drying. Most importantly, I'm happy about the antioxidant benefits :)) The scent is also subtly refreshing?
