After an ill-advised Intracell procedure (my first-ever skin treatment) at a dermatologist's recommendation, I developed seborrheic skin that easily reddens, with heat sensations, hives, and itching. Now extremely sensitive. Currently, my skin only reddens with temperature changes, with no other symptoms. Hydration: 4/5 Oiliness: 2/5 Absorption: 3/5 Texture: 3/5 Ingredients: 4/5 Blemish & Skin Soothing: 1/5 (Rated out of 5) To be honest, I wasn't familiar with the Jennyhouse brand until I was selected for The Hwahae Testers. I've only tried fermented cosmetics from the S** brand at department stores before, and other products didn't suit me. The essence contains black truffle from France and Italy, harvested only from December to March from 7-10 year old truffles. It can't be artificially cultivated, earning it the nickname 'diamond of the earth'. After using it for over a week, I can say the scent is like pear or apple - it's lovely! The texture is a runny water type, feeling like water but with a slight viscosity. Unlike some water-based products that disappear instantly, this one leaves a noticeable but non-sticky moisturizing finish. It's perfect for summer use!
ConsHowever, despite only changing this product in my routine, the acid component... it really doesn't agree with me. While some products with acids cause mild reactions, others lead to strong redness and heat sensations. After about 5 days of use, I started noticing redness. When I switched back to my usual product for two days, the redness subsided. To be sure, I tried it again... and the redness returned. It's just my sensitive, combination skin type.
TipThe product itself seems really good - the hydration lasts long, and the price is reasonable at 45,000 for 200ml. In summer, when your face heats up and loses moisture, this product's high moisture content keeps skin hydrated. The issue is just my skin type... I think it would work well for combination skin that isn't overly oily, dry, or sensitive!
