It's incredibly hydrating and gives a beautiful glow, making it perfect to use before makeup. After using this, I noticed a significant reduction in blemishes and acne. While it doesn't absorb super quickly, the results are so good that I don't mind the slower absorption. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 12, 2022
Better than expected. Great for everyday use as a toner. The container design is quite interesting. It might seem a bit pricey, but when you compare it to Bioderma, it's actually not bad at all, haha! - wk****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSep 28, 2022
The product design is clean and attractive. I've been using this as a first step instead of toner, and it works well with just this and a cream. My skin tends to be sensitive, but I haven't experienced any tingling or irritation. I received this as a magazine freebie, but it's more expensive than I expected. The lid could be a bit larger to make opening easier. - kg*******Normal SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresAug 2, 2021
Bouncy texture Absorbs well: When dispensed, it seems runny and might drip, but once applied to the skin, it transforms into a slightly viscous texture. Absorbs well: It absorbs quickly without stickiness, though it initially feels a bit heavy. This sensation subsides after about 30 seconds. Hydration: While it's hard to feel an immediate moisture boost, your skin feels noticeably firmer and more elastic. Among all the toners/essences I've used, this is the most expensive, but the satisfaction relative to its price is significantly low. I received it as a gift, but it's a product I find difficult to use up completely. Definitely won't repurchase. Using the same cotton pad as with other toners, I experienced an unusual stinging sensation and irritation that I hadn't felt before. It's inconvenient that as an exfoliating toner, it shouldn't be used with cotton pads. I don't have combination dehydrated skin, and I've never felt dry after applying toner before. However, after using this toner, my face feels parched. I suspect the stinging sensation when using a cotton pad might be due to the product's texture changing to become more viscous after dispensing. It doesn't sting when applied directly with hands, so I recommend not using cotton pads. - gp****Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedJul 9, 2021
As a self-proclaimed essence and ampoule enthusiast, this is perfect as a first essence. After thoroughly cleansing with toner, applying this essence with its runny texture all over leaves my skin feeling hydrated. I bought it from Market Cur*, and I also love Jenny House's Truffle Firming Cream and Truffle Serum! It gives a sense of nourishment and hydration. The fragrance is lovely, and the generous volume lasts quite a while. The downside is that during humid summers, when you don't really need to apply a first essence, I personally feel it might not be necessary. Before and during that time of the month when blemishes tend to appear, I skip other essences and serums. Instead, I go with toner -> truffle essence -> gel moisturizer. This routine provides a light yet nourishing base. - sa**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRednessApr 20, 2021
It's moisturizing with a subtle, almost non-existent fragrance. The hydration seems pretty good too. The opening makes it difficult to control the amount dispensed. It stings if it gets in your eyes. - me*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinApr 2, 2021
The product has almost no scent, absorbs well, and doesn't feel slippery on the skin. After applying it morning and night for two days, I developed small bumps and acne. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedJan 30, 2021
It's surprisingly good! At first glance, I thought it would be so watery that I'd need to use it with a cotton pad. But when I opened it, the texture was slightly more viscous than water. When applied, it leaves the skin hydrated and in perfect condition for the next skincare step! I'm not sure about its whitening effects, but it seems great for wrinkle prevention. It absorbs quickly into the skin, leaving it beautifully moisturized. There's nothing particularly bad about it... If I had to nitpick, the unique shape of the cap makes it a bit trickier to handle compared to other products. I find myself fumbling with it more often. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedNov 26, 2020
I have dry skin, so if a toner isn't hydrating enough, my face feels really tight. Even famous products like Dokdo Toner or rose water left my skin feeling dry. This one, however, is incredibly hydrating! It absorbs quickly too! I received it as a gift and tried it out - it was amazing! Highly recommended! I can't really think of any downsides. It's a bit challenging to come up with 20 characters of criticism... - st**********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 24, 2020
I usually apply this before bed, and when I wake up in the morning, my skin feels incredibly soft. It's even helped calm down my blemishes significantly. The fragrance is so lovely that it lifts my mood every time I use it. There's nothing I particularly dislike about it. I'm planning to repurchase once I've finished this one.
