Pros
It's moisturizing with a subtle, almost non-existent fragrance. The hydration seems pretty good too.
Cons
The opening makes it difficult to control the amount dispensed. It stings if it gets in your eyes.

Skin type: Oily, sensitive, acne-prone teenage skin Absorption: Good Moisturizing: Moderate Texture: Pleasant Price: Regular price 45,000 won, but received as a sample during a promotion, only paid for shipping! Review: While I can't say if it reduces acne, as I don't have severe acne, this product didn't cause any itching, blemishes, or breakouts! It really suits my skin well. Although it's a water-based formula, it provides decent hydration, which I appreciate. When applied, it gives such a beautiful, dewy glow to my skin. The next morning after using it, my complexion looks brighter, and that gorgeous glow remains. I'm truly impressed with this product!
Cons
The downside is the price. At nearly 50,000 won, it's not easy for a student like me to purchase, even though I'd love to.
Tip

Pros
The texture is watery, but once applied to the face, it becomes pleasantly tacky with a slight stickiness. Right after application, it feels a bit adhesive to the touch, but after a while, the tackiness disappears as it absorbs, giving a pore-filling sensation. It's not sticky at all. Unlike some products that dry out over time, this one maintains hydration without becoming dry. The initial viscosity fades, leaving the skin feeling plump and nourished. It starts off feeling substantial but gradually lightens, though not excessively so. There's no uncomfortable heaviness on the skin. When applied after toner, it feels like using a serum - quite nice. At first, I was a bit nervous about a slight tingling sensation, but thankfully, it didn't cause any blemishes. The ingredients are good too, which is reassuring. I also appreciate the generous amount, which means it lasts longer, reducing concerns about contamination or spoilage.
Cons
The initial tackiness and the fact that it takes a little time to absorb fully. The price is quite high, though understandable given that truffles are an expensive ingredient.

Late review from The Hwahae Testers, but here we go! Can't believe my luck - I actually won something! Haha, thank you so much. My skin is super dehydrated, so even in this scorching summer, I usually slather on cream and mist. But for this test, I only finished with the essence, skipping the cream. Being combination dehydrated skin, I did feel a slight tightness, but I dislike the greasiness of rich products. I usually go for toners that absorb quickly, but this? Instant glow! I have to admit, it's amazing from day one. It's not oily at all, yet it gives this natural radiance to the skin. Even with my enlarged pores from overusing pore masks, I just shake my head and smile at the mirror. It has a water-like consistency, but it's slightly more substantial than a typical toner. It absorbs instantly with a hint of stickiness, and you can feel a tiny bit of richness. Everyone! If you want that Inner Glow, you must try this! Since it's summer and I'm wearing revealing clothes, I'm even applying it to my neck and arms for that luminous look. This Truffle Water Essence makes even bare skin shine! I'm definitely considering purchasing after the trial period ends.
Cons
To me, the scent was a mix of slight freshness and a hint of tea tree. Truth be told, I have severe sinusitis... so my nose only picks up scents it wants to smell, haha. Since fragrance is important to me, I'd appreciate if you could add a bit more scent (in a skin-friendly way, of course).
Tip
When my makeup starts to look cakey, I don't have an empty bottle to use it as a mist, but I pat a small amount onto my hands and then gently tap it over my makeup. It's great because it doesn't make my makeup break down or smudge badly.

Pros
This essence comes in a generous 200ml size, so you can use it liberally without worrying about running out. When I first opened it, I loved the fresh scent! As for brightening, I didn't notice much since I see my face every day, but people around me asked if I changed my foundation because my complexion looked brighter! It seems to have a very natural brightening effect. The texture is like water or runny mucus (haha), and I liked how it absorbs without feeling sticky. Usually, my skin feels dry about 3 hours after applying makeup, but on days I used this product, it definitely helped with that. I noticed much less tightness in my skin.
Cons
The price might be a bit steep for some. However, considering the ingredients and effectiveness, I think it's worth reaching for.
Tip
I experienced a noticeable brightening effect the next day when I applied this essence before using a sheet mask. It really evens out the skin tone!

Pros
This is my first time trying a fermented line, so I was half worried, half excited (I heard some people don't react well to fermented products). But I think this product is absolutely fantastic! First off, the hydration is incredible. I used it as a first essence right after cleansing. After applying it with a cotton pad and letting it absorb, I felt a deep moisturizing effect that seemed to solve my dehydration issues. It's not a sticky kind of moisture, but a light, refreshing hydration that tackles deep dryness. Next, I noticed overall skin improvement effects. My complexion seemed brighter, blemishes and acne marks appeared to fade and become less noticeable, and I even felt a slight pore-tightening effect. Overall, it made my skin look cleaner and more refined. Interestingly, and I'm not sure if this is common for all fermented lines, but during the first few applications, I felt a slight tingling sensation. It wasn't unpleasant - it felt like something beneficial was happening to my skin, almost like a gentle 'cleansing' sensation. After a while, I could actually feel my skin improving. I was prepared to stop using it if my face became red or the tingling increased, but I had no issues at all. As for the scent, it reminded me of ginger - a natural fragrance I've occasionally encountered in organic cosmetics. With its gentle ingredients, I'm extremely satisfied with this product!
Cons
The price is a bit steep... that's about it. Also, while the lid looks pretty, it's not very ergonomic. Maybe it's just my hands, but I feel like I might keep dropping the lid when opening it.

Pros
It's not drying at all. After applying the toner with a cotton pad and gently patting it in, it absorbs better than expected and leaves the skin feeling hydrated. There's no tightness either. My sister tried it too and she likes it. She uses the Dokdo toner first, then applies this essence toner by hand, and says it works even better that way.
Cons
I think it would have been better if it was released in autumn or winter... However, it doesn't make the skin greasy. It just feels a bit heavy to me. It might be great for fall and winter use. I'm not sure if it's because of this product, but I've noticed more blemishes and increased redness. Oh! And the fragrance is quite strong, so those sensitive to scents might find it uncomfortable.

Wow... I was thrilled to find a package of one of the products I'd been hoping to win! At first, I thought this 'water essence' would be like a regular toner, but it's actually quite rich! It could easily work as a toner in dry autumn or winter weather. I have combination skin that becomes super oily in summer, but lately I've been using just this water essence and a bit of cream on dry areas like my eyes and cheeks! I'm quite sensitive, so I pay close attention to ingredients, and I was amazed at how good this is! I think my skin will love it. I'll definitely keep using it! I'm not exaggerating when I say my skin texture feels genuinely smoother.
Cons
The only downside is that it's a bit pricey. That's really the only complaint I have.
Tip
These days, I've been soaking cotton pads with this water essence and placing them on my face! It's been so hot lately, and my face tends to get red easily, but this seems to really help calm my skin.

Here's my honest review as a Hwahae Tester after using the product for two weeks since receiving it on the 26th: - It has skin-friendly ingredients. - It's rich in both oil and moisture. - It's effective for blemishes. - The volume is generous. I have extremely dry, dehydrated skin! In the morning, I don't apply much due to pilling issues with makeup, but at night, I layer several products that suit me to prevent deep dryness in the morning. The texture is somewhere between flowing water and a runny nose consistency. As indicated on the product box, it's free from 20 potential irritants, so I felt confident using it due to its gentle formulation! To test its effectiveness on deep dryness, I applied it 2-3 times after my exfoliating toner and waited about 10 minutes. There was a slight tightness, but it was tolerable! I could definitely feel it replenishing my skin's hydration. Since I use many products on my face, I applied this alone on my back to gauge its effectiveness. I had been worried about sudden back acne. Surprisingly, the stubborn back acne that hadn't cleared for a month started to gradually disappear!!!! Rather than completely vanishing, I noticed the bumpy texture when touching my back was subsiding. I wish I had taken before and after photos, it's a shame I didn't ㅠㅠ While some reviews mentioned breakouts, I saw positive results.. It seems to vary depending on skin type! Despite being an essence, it comes in a generous 200ml size. It's great for liberal application!

I don't find it uncomfortable, but those who dislike stickiness might find it somewhat inconvenient. I'm satisfied with this product and considering repurchasing, but when I checked the brand shop, it was priced at 45,000 won. I'm not sure if it will go on sale, but it does feel a bit expensive... However, considering the 200ml volume, it might not be overpriced after all. I intend to repurchase!
