  Pros

  Bouncy texture Absorbs well: When dispensed, it seems runny and might drip, but once applied to the skin, it transforms into a slightly viscous texture. Absorbs well: It absorbs quickly without stickiness, though it initially feels a bit heavy. This sensation subsides after about 30 seconds. Hydration: While it's hard to feel an immediate moisture boost, your skin feels noticeably firmer and more elastic.

  Cons

  Among all the toners/essences I've used, this is the most expensive, but the satisfaction relative to its price is significantly low. I received it as a gift, but it's a product I find difficult to use up completely. Definitely won't repurchase. Using the same cotton pad as with other toners, I experienced an unusual stinging sensation and irritation that I hadn't felt before. It's inconvenient that as an exfoliating toner, it shouldn't be used with cotton pads. I don't have combination dehydrated skin, and I've never felt dry after applying toner before. However, after using this toner, my face feels parched.

  Tip

  I suspect the stinging sensation when using a cotton pad might be due to the product's texture changing to become more viscous after dispensing. It doesn't sting when applied directly with hands, so I recommend not using cotton pads.

  First off, the scent is absolutely delightful! I start by gently wiping my face with toner, following the contours. Then, I generously soak a cotton pad with the essence and leave it on my cheeks for about 10 minutes before applying makeup. The result? My skin feels so firm and supple, and my makeup goes on beautifully! As someone with a sensitive nose, I can honestly say the fragrance is truly wonderful!

  Cons

  I've been using it for just over a week now, and I honestly can't find any drawbacks yet!

  Here's a tip: Use it like a toner by soaking a cotton pad generously and leaving it on your cheeks for about 10 minutes. Your makeup will apply flawlessly, and your skin will feel incredibly firm and supple!

Skin type: Combination dehydrated (dry in winter), sensitive Frequent oil production, occasional blemishes Skincare routine: Toner > Essence > Moisturizer ⚡Texture and application The texture is water-based but with a slight viscosity. You might feel a bit of stickiness when applying, but once it's fully absorbed, it leaves a pleasantly hydrated and firm feeling! ⚡Scent The fragrance is somewhat pear-like? It has a refreshing scent that I enjoyed. Those sensitive to fragrances might not appreciate it though :) ⚡Hydration The hydrating power is excellent. After applying the essence, my skin felt plump as if it was filled with moisture. (No dryness at all) ⚡Recommended skin types I highly recommend this for those with dry skin! It could work well for combination skin too, but oily skin types might want to avoid it in summer! It was just perfect for me. ⚡Value for money It seems a bit pricey! Unless it's on sale, the regular price is a tad... steep.

  While there aren't any significant downsides, I noticed a couple of blemishes after using it. However, since I changed other products in my skincare routine as well, I'll need to keep an eye on it!

  1. I mentioned my skincare routine above! In summer, it's better to minimize steps like I do. If you feel dry, try applying 2-3 layers of toner before the essence and moisturizer. 2. Using this essence as a mask works wonderfully! I tried soaking a cotton pad with the chilled essence from the fridge and using it as a mask. It was soothing and left my skin feeling firm - I was very satisfied!

  Pros

  I was thrilled to win this product since I've always wanted to try something from the famous Jennyhouse brand. The scent is pleasantly subtle, reminiscent of light apple juice. When applied, it feels slightly elastic and quite hydrating. Being a water-based formula, I was concerned it might run, but surprisingly it has a nice consistency that doesn't require using too much. Even after two weeks of twice-daily use, the product hasn't diminished much, which is great! As someone with sensitive, dry skin prone to blemishes from incompatible ingredients, I was relieved that this didn't cause any breakouts. It's a rare find that agrees with my super sensitive skin.

  Cons

  While the product is indeed moisturizing and has a nice texture, it only provides temporary hydration for my extremely dry skin. I appreciate that it doesn't cause blemishes and feels hydrating initially, but the elasticity and bouncy feeling don't last long, which is a bit disappointing. If the moisturizing effect lasted longer, I'd consider purchasing it despite the higher price point.

  It works great as a toner substitute or when layered two to three times for extra hydration!

  Pros

  After using it for two weeks, my skin texture has noticeably improved! Overall, I can't find any downsides. What's more, I think even those with oily skin like mine can use it without worry. I loved how quickly it absorbed into my skin and left it feeling firm and supple.

  I'd recommend this more for those with dry skin rather than oily skin types.
