In summer, I tend to have combination dehydrated skin. Recently, wearing a mask daily has been causing frequent blemishes. When I received this product, I was also on my period, so my skin was in terrible shape. While my previous calming cream was effective, it lacked hydration when used alone. Using it with other products made my skin too oily in summer, so it felt more suitable for seasonal changes rather than summer use. The texture of this product is great. It looks like a gel-type formula and applies refreshingly with good hydration. After receiving this, I only used toner and this cream. It was sufficient even for morning makeup application without making my face oily. In the evening, I could apply a more generous amount without feeling heavy on my skin. When I started using this product, I had some skin issues. While two weeks might be too short to judge if it coincided with timing, my blemishes did improve.
ConsIt's not a major issue, but the cream doesn't absorb instantly upon application. If you apply too much in the morning due to poor amount control, it may absorb slowly and cause makeup to pill.
TipI didn't feel dry with just this product alone, so I don't have any particular tips. However, for those with dry skin, I recommend applying thin layers multiple times.

While using it, even during hormonal changes when I usually get blemishes, I haven't experienced any breakouts at all. It's also excellent as a sleeping pack!
ConsI didn't feel like it had a significant effect, but that might be because I don't typically get many blemishes. When I applied makeup after using this, the base tended to pill a bit, probably due to its hydrating nature. So now I'm using it as a sleeping pack instead!
TipIt works better as a sleeping pack before bed rather than under makeup.

Application It has a semi-transparent gel-cream texture, slightly heavier than a typical gel type but lighter than regular moisturizers. In the summer, improper skincare application can feel sticky, but this product applies smoothly without any residue, leaving a soft and smooth finish. 2. Fragrance It is fragrance-free, so even those sensitive to scents can use it comfortably. 3. Moisturizing (Oil, Hydration) At first, it felt a bit too lightweight, but the oil content builds up over time. When I only applied a single layer over my water-based toner, my cheeks and lip area felt a bit tight, but layering it over an essence with oil content or applying multiple layers over the toner provided adequate moisture, which was just right for this season. Oily-skinned individuals may find the cream sufficient on its own, while dry-skinned people may want to use it as part of a multi-step routine. However, as we transition into fall, this product may not provide enough hydration for combination to dry skin types, and a more lotion-like texture may be preferable. * The tube packaging is very convenient to use. * The volume is just right for someone like me who likes to switch up skincare during the warmer months. * I would love to see a similar body cream from this brand as well.
ConsOn days when I layered multiple products or applied a lot of product, I sometimes felt like my makeup was slightly cakey. But I think adjusting the amount should resolve the issue for the most part. :)
Tip1. If your skin is dry, apply the product multiple times. Layering creams is better than adding more oil. 2. After applying this product, use cooling massage tools, ceramic bowls, or round dishes from the refrigerator to massage your face. 😁 The cream leaves a soft, smooth feeling on the skin, and your face doesn't feel dry even after a short massage. I haven't used the product for a long time, so I haven't experienced any significant calming effects yet (I usually need to use a product for a while to feel the effects). However, my face is prone to breakouts depending on the weather (temperature), but I haven't had any breakouts at all in the 10 days I've been using it morning and evening, so it seems to have a calming effect. 😊

The biggest advantage is that it doesn't contain any ingredients that are harmful to the skin. Also, it comes in a tube, which makes it hygienic. For someone with dry skin like me, it was incredibly moisturizing. When I apply it before bed, my skin feels hydrated even in the morning. It doesn't leave any residue or feel like it's sitting on top of the skin. When you apply it, it feels like it creates a hydrating layer that really sinks in. I'd definitely repurchase this once I run out!
ConsPersonally, I didn't find any downsides, but if you have oily skin, you might find it a bit heavy or it could cause your makeup to pill.
TipSince it's quite rich in hydration, it's best to use just a small amount. Whether you have dry or oily skin, using too much could lead to pilling.

I don't usually have super sensitive skin, but I tend to get a few inflamed blemishes when my skin is dry or around my period. I also get small bumps on my forehead and cheeks when I'm tired or don't exfoliate properly. As someone who's tried various soothing creams like cica creams, regenerating creams, and madecassoside creams, I had high expectations for the Skin&Lab Medi Cica Calming Cream. Since my skin was particularly sensitive at the time, I applied it generously all over like a moisturizer, not just on specific areas. Of course, no soothing cream can completely calm your skin overnight. But when I woke up the next morning after applying a generous amount, my skin texture felt incredibly soft and hydrated. It gave my skin a silky feeling and really helped even out my complexion. I also noticed a significant reduction in dead skin cells and my skin looked more refined. The improvement in skin texture was a major plus for me. In terms of soothing effects, it took a few days of application to calm down the small bumps. While it didn't immediately reduce inflammation, I still applied it all over and then added an extra layer on the inflamed areas as a spot treatment.
ConsThe downside is... while it felt great when applied generously before bed, it didn't seem to work as well under makeup in the morning. When I applied the cica cream before makeup, it felt like my foundation didn't adhere as well? It wasn't severe, but normally I don't need to touch up my makeup at work. On days when I used the cica cream under my makeup, I found I needed to do a bit of touching up. However, it absolutely did not cause severe pilling or sliding! Also, because it's a cica cream, I might have had unrealistic expectations about how quickly it would soothe acne, inflammation, or irritated skin. While it didn't provide instant relief, which was a bit disappointing, I can definitely say that with consistent use, it prevented new breakouts and inflammation from occurring.
TipOn days when your skin is sensitive and irritated, you can apply it all over instead of your regular moisturizer. For everyday use, you can spot-treat areas with small bumps or blemishes. This way, the product should last a long time!
