It's fantastic for combination dehydrated skin - I've finally overcome that issue. There's nothing else quite like it! It runs a bit too much, which is the only downside. Everything else about it is pretty good though! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinDec 8, 2021
Even though I don't have dry skin, this alone was enough to prevent deep dryness. However, for those with truly dry skin, this might not be sufficient on its own. The cap is incredibly inconvenient, and the product leaking from the sides is really bothersome. After using this, I developed milia for the first time in my life. Everyone raves about Avène, which is why I bought it, but it seems to be completely incompatible with my skin. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinAug 7, 2021
As someone with super sensitive skin, this product seems to have a calming effect. The emulsion absorbs well, and I absolutely love it! It's a great item that I can use without any worries. The lid area gets sticky because the toner leaks. However, this might be due to my poor maintenance or not cleaning up properly after use. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinAug 4, 2021
- I usually dislike cream textures, so I was pleased to find a liquid formula that provides excellent hydration. This one really satisfied my needs. - The fragrance is pleasantly mild, which I appreciate as it doesn't irritate my skin. - One minor inconvenience is that the liquid tends to drip down the bottle after use, requiring regular wiping to keep it clean. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJul 24, 2021
The hydration is great! It's perfect for doing a toner mask with cotton pads. The container is a bit inconvenient to use. The product tends to spill out. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinApr 3, 2021
First off, this product is such a great match for me that I want to repurchase it. While it's good for dry skin, it worked exceptionally well for oily skin. The reason is that the emulsion blends with the skin's natural oils, leaving the skin feeling refreshed. There aren't really any downsides to speak of. If I had to nitpick, occasionally some product might leak from the cap when using the emulsion. But can we really call that a flaw? I highly recommend this emulsion! For best results, first spray some Avene thermal water, then apply about a coin-sized amount of the emulsion and spread it over your skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 9, 2021
As someone in their 40s with dry skin, I've found that Avène products generally work well for me. I'm currently using several of their items, including this toner. It's not a watery liquid like typical toners, but rather has a smooth texture that feels like it's lightly infused with oil. Regular toners always left my skin feeling tight, but this one keeps my skin hydrated for a long time. I love its clean and silky feel, which is why I'm now on my fourth bottle. If I had to point out a minor issue, it would be that since the container is designed to be tilted when used, product can sometimes run down the opening after multiple uses. However, this isn't particularly inconvenient as it has a one-touch cap rather than a screw-on lid. - Hwahae UserDry SkinNov 24, 2020
If you've stopped using exfoliating toners because they're too drying, I highly recommend this product! It doesn't leave your skin feeling parched after use, making it perfect for the winter months. For best results, try soaking a cotton pad and leaving it on your face for about 2 minutes - it works wonders! This toner might be a bit too heavy for those with oily skin. The old version had a flip-top cap that caused leakage issues, but now it has a push-down dispenser similar to travel-sized bottles, which helps control the flow better. For an extra boost of hydration, try applying an essence or ampoule after using this product! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinNov 8, 2020
Avène Deep Moist Emulsion I'm using it as a wipe-off toner. It's gentle and non-irritating, which I love. No blemishes appear either. Avène Deep Moist Emulsion I can't think of any downsides yet. The only thing is that the container might cause some product to spill onto the cotton pad... But it's not a major inconvenience. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 9, 2020
After using up my Dokdo Skin post-pregnancy, I switched my entire skincare routine to Avène products. 1. Scent It's not quite baby powder, but rather a gentler fragrance. This makes it non-irritating, which I really appreciate. 2. Hydration I usually use toners just for cleansing, but the Hydrance Deep Moist Emulsion, being an emulsion, feels moisturizing and hydrating. Unlike other toners that can leave your skin feeling dry after use, this one doesn't strip the skin, which is fantastic. 3. Price While it may not be as cheap as some of the large-volume budget toners on the market these days, it's still reasonably priced. Although a larger size would have been more convenient, I bought the 200ml two-pack set. In a way, this takes up less space on my vanity, and it's probably better to replace products more frequently rather than using one large bottle for a long time. So, I'm satisfied with this aspect too. When dispensing the product onto a cotton pad, some emulsion can remain on or drip from the bottle cap, which can feel a bit messy at times. Also, true to its 'Deep Moisture' name, while it's perfect for winter, those with certain skin types might find it slightly sticky during summer use. As a toner, it doesn't have that lightweight feel some might expect.
