As my skin seemed to be getting drier, I initially bought a small size at Olive Young based on their recommendation. Unlike other toners, despite being liquid, it has a rich texture that seems to effectively combat deep dryness. Now I'm on my third large bottle, and it's become my holy grail product - I haven't had a single blemish outbreak! I'm on my third large bottle and there's absolutely nothing negative to say about it. After cleansing, I spray on a mist and then layer this product twice. When my skin feels particularly dehydrated, I soak a thin cotton pad with it and use it as a mask. Following up with the rest of my skincare routine eliminates any feeling of tightness. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinDec 4, 2024
For combination dehydrated skin/sensitive/redness-prone skin: Scent - Subtle floral fragrance (same as Gentle Toning) Texture - Runny consistency (slightly viscous) Application - Very moisturizing. Even as an exfoliating toner, it's gentle. Not a lightweight formula for a toner! Overall - Effective for deep dryness. Definitely provides hydration. Recommended more for dry skin than combination dehydrated or oily skin. The oil and moisture balance might not suit everyone, potentially causing small bumps. My usually bump-free skin developed some, likely due to the rich moisturizer I'm already using. It's not that it doesn't suit my skin, but it's a bit heavy for combination dehydrated skin. Planning to use it only as a mask from now on. Nothing specific... The toner itself is great, but it doesn't seem to pair well with my moisturizer. Not recommended for oily skin types. If you have combination dehydrated skin, test it first before regular use. Doesn't work well with creams targeting deep dryness. Should be suitable for those with dry skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 5, 2024
Absorbs well and effectively combats deep dryness. The texture is like a perfect balance between water and essence. Leaves skin feeling soft and smooth. The oil and moisture balance is excellent. Honestly, there are no downsides. I really can't find any faults. If I absolutely had to mention something, I'd say it would be nice if they changed the lid. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinMay 30, 2024
The hydration is excellent, and applying just this product alone almost eliminates any feeling of tightness. It doesn't cause any blemishes either. It has a sticky feeling. I don't think it's an exceptionally great product. It works well as an exfoliating toner. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJun 18, 2023
Feels moisturizing and hydrating. Seems to tackle deep dryness effectively. The scent is off-putting. After using about 1/5 of the product, it started causing itching and tingling sensations. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 13, 2022
It was nice that it helped with deep dryness... Although it's labeled as an emulsion, it feels more like a toner... When I first applied it, I was excited because it was super hydrating and helped with deep dryness, so I used this product as my base for a few days... But now my face is covered in hives and it's so itchy I'm going crazy.. If you're sensitive to hot spring water, please make sure to test it on the back of your hand or chest before applying it to your face.. Oh no... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinNov 22, 2022
Perfect for tackling deep dryness! I've struggled to combat deep dryness with most products, but this one fixes it with just one application. Highly recommended for those with combination dehydrated skin or dry skin types! As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I find it a bit oily in the T-zone, which is slightly disappointing. Also, while it's great when you don't have acne, it seems to worsen the skin when applied over blemishes. That's why I use it after my period when my skin is at its best (no active breakouts or acne scars). And the scent isn't great, unfortunately... Don't apply too much at once. Instead, drop one or two drops onto your face and let it absorb, then repeat the process (layering). This really helps combat deep dryness effectively. Applying too much at once can leave a sticky, uncomfortable feeling. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 24, 2022
I bought this after searching for something to help with my deep dryness, and I love how it absorbs well and really tackles that inner dehydration! It feels a bit lacking when used alone, so I think you need to layer it with a serum or cream for optimal hydration and moisture. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinFeb 2, 2022
It's wonderfully rich and moisturizing. I've been using this for years now... It's great for when you're experiencing deep dryness! If you prefer a lighter feel, this might not be the best fit for you! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinMay 9, 2021
The texture is like a runny gel, with a lovely scent, and it's perfectly moisturizing - just right! I really dislike heavy, sticky feelings, but this toner absorbs well with just a gentle pat. It's so effective at combating deep dryness that even in summer, my skin doesn't feel parched. The thermal spring water leaves my skin feeling silky smooth, which I absolutely love. This review comes after finishing an entire bottle over 9 months. It's truly my holy grail toner! One downside is that the cap tends to get a bit sticky after continued use.
