I received this as a gift and used it, but I couldn't find any significant advantages compared to other treatments. It's just... similar to the effects of other treatments? The improvement in hair texture is so-so, and the static prevention is also mediocre. There aren't really any major drawbacks to mention. However, I wouldn't buy it at this price point because it doesn't offer any substantial differences from other treatments. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinApr 28, 2020
It slightly softens the hair texture. The best thing about it was the nice feeling when I received it as a gift from a friend. From my perspective, this product really doesn't have any standout advantages. The smell is absolutely terrible. Goodness gracious! I'm usually not sensitive to scents and can use products that others find unpleasant without issue. But this fragrance is just... unbearably awful. At first, I thought the product had gone bad. Considering its reputation, the effects are mediocre at best. It's fortunate I received it as a gift because it's overpriced for such a small amount. This isn't exactly a pro tip, but... After applying the treatment to your hair, absolutely do not cover it with anything. Just let it sit naturally before rinsing it out. If you try to apply heat by covering your head, you might end up feeling anxious due to the overwhelming smell of the treatment coming from your own hair. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinApr 14, 2020
As someone who's super invested in hair care, I've been using Kérastase and Aveda products for years. Recently, I received this as a gift from a friend and gave it a try. First off, it absorbs better than Aveda or Kérastase. Unlike their treatments, this one instantly makes your hair feel softer right when you apply it. While it felt amazingly soft during application, after rinsing, I noticed it didn't leave much hydration behind, leaving my hair feeling a bit dry. I use treatments daily, focusing on products rich in nourishment and hydration. Sometimes this leads to scalp blemishes, but I've found that alternating between Aveda, Mucota, and Kérastase has made my hair care routine a bit easier. I appreciate that it's more affordable than Aveda or Kérastase. I've learned that consistent, long-term care works better for hair health than occasional intensive treatments. This product seems great for that kind of routine. However, using Mucota alone doesn't seem to give the desired results. It works best when alternated with other products - that's when you really feel its benefits.
