It's a cream-type product. Personally, I prefer hair products with a subtle, fresh scent rather than overpowering fragrances. The Mucota Aire Treatment isn't strongly scented. If I had to nitpick, there's a very faint alcohol smell. On the plus side, after using it and drying my hair, I noticed my hair color seemed more vibrant. The main drawback is that it's not great value for money. It's expensive, but I don't think it delivers results that justify the price. In my opinion, there are many other products at this price point that offer better bang for your buck. So, I'm afraid I can't really recommend it. To use, shampoo your hair first, then gently towel-dry to remove excess water. Apply the treatment to your hair, avoiding the roots. Spread it evenly through your lengths and ends, then leave it on for 2-3 minutes before rinsing. Personally, I leave it on longer than the recommended 2-3 minutes, as that feels too short for me. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJan 16, 2023
Even on dry hair, if you wait after applying it, it fills in the moisture, making it easier to brush through. The ingredients are a bit disappointing, and it's on the pricier side, so I'm using it sparingly. Rather than having a dramatic effect, it feels more like it's nourishing the hair. If you have time, waiting longer before rinsing makes your hair feel silky smooth, almost like seaweed. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 23, 2021
As someone with dyed hair, I'm always conscious about my hair's condition. Since hair is made of dead cells, unlike skin, it doesn't have issues with product compatibility. So, I'm open to trying various brands. I remember getting a treatment at a salon using Mucota products, and it was amazing. Since then, I've been buying and using it whenever I think of it! The texture is quite rich, but after using this treatment, my hair doesn't feel weighed down. When I touch it, there's no oily residue. The product itself seems to have a great oil and moisture balance. With consistent use, I've noticed my hair that used to be flyaway due to poor condition now feels heavier, if that makes sense? It definitely feels stronger. While the product itself is undoubtedly good, I'm not sure if it's significantly superior to other products when considering the price-to-quantity ratio. Also, it's important to be careful not to let it touch the scalp, as it can potentially cause hair loss or discoloration. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinNov 8, 2020
It has a rich, substantial texture. Excellent for damaged hair! The price is a bit steep. The quantity is somewhat disappointing. Looking forward to the next season's release! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 25, 2020
Hair feels softer after use. Contains protein ingredients. After drying, hair doesn't retain the same softness as when wet. The ingredients could be better. The price is wickedly high. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 26, 2020
This is my go-to treatment. I use it like first aid when my hair feels like it's in crisis. The biggest advantage is that it works quickly, even with short application times. The product runs out quickly as you use it. Even if you try to conserve it by alternating with other products, it's unavoidable. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 13, 2020
It seems to improve my hair texture, but it's only temporary. My hair quickly returns to its original dry state. The scent is a complete headache trigger. I had bought it a while ago and forgot about it, then tried using it. After just one use, it gave me a headache, so I'm not planning to use it again. The ingredients don't seem good, and the fragrance is way too strong. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJul 11, 2020
This product is truly amazing! While it might be a bit much to use every single day, when I set aside time for a 20-minute treatment, the results are incredible. My hair becomes so silky and smooth - just like in those shampoo commercials, I kid you not! However, the effects don't seem to last forever from just one use. I'd recommend using your regular hair care routine most of the time and saving this for special occasions when you want your hair to look its absolute best. I actually borrowed this treatment from my mom when there wasn't much left in the bottle, so I didn't get to use it too often. But let me tell you, the difference between this and my usual treatments is night and day. With my regular products, I'd just think 'Oh, my hair feels a bit nicer' after washing. But when I applied this generously and left it on for about 20 minutes? It was like my hair had been transformed - I've never seen it look so good! The price? When I used it, I remember looking it up and seeing it was around $40-$50 per bottle. But it looks like the price has come down quite a bit now. For best results, apply it generously all over your hair. Don't rinse it out right away - wait at least 10 minutes before washing it off. That's when you'll really see that silky, smooth finish. I've tried both the blue and black versions, and they're both fantastic. But personally, I found the blue one to be absolutely mind-blowing in terms of effectiveness. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinMay 6, 2020
I bought this product on my mom's recommendation. It does improve my hair texture! But the effect doesn't last too long, haha. Everyone says the scent is awful, but I found it okay! I definitely didn't have any issues using it because of the fragrance. The quantity is quite generous, so I've been using it for a long time. Well, even when I thought I'd applied enough, it didn't cover my entire head of hair, lol. You just need to use quite a bit of it. I'm always short on time, so I usually rinse it out right after applying, but that's such a waste. For better coating, you should leave it on longer. Try applying it to your hair before you wash your body! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinApr 28, 2020
It slightly softens the hair texture. The best thing about it was the nice feeling when I received it as a gift from a friend. From my perspective, this product really doesn't have any standout advantages. The smell is absolutely terrible. Goodness gracious! I'm usually not sensitive to scents and can use products that others find unpleasant without issue. But this fragrance is just... unbearably awful. At first, I thought the product had gone bad. Considering its reputation, the effects are mediocre at best. It's fortunate I received it as a gift because it's overpriced for such a small amount. This isn't exactly a pro tip, but... After applying the treatment to your hair, absolutely do not cover it with anything. Just let it sit naturally before rinsing it out. If you try to apply heat by covering your head, you might end up feeling anxious due to the overwhelming smell of the treatment coming from your own hair.
