I've lost count of how many I've used! Application: The pencil liner glides on smoothly, making it easy to create a nice wing. The staying power is fantastic too! Longevity: Even when my eyeshadow has faded after a long day, this liner is still going strong. Smudging: There can be a bit of smudging if your eyelids get oily. You can fix this by setting it with a translucent shadow or powder. Might be tricky for beginners... A friend I lent it to said it was a bit challenging to apply. If you're new to eyeliners, I'd recommend trying the brush pen type from the same brand first. But if you're already comfortable with applying eyeliner and need something that won't budge even when you sweat, definitely give this a go. Other brands often have great deals like buy-one-get-one-free, and the price is really reasonable. - Hwahae UserDry SkinFeb 21, 2025
Wow, what's this? It's surprisingly good! Great value for money, I'm impressed. First off, it excels in the most crucial aspect - no smudging! Once it sets, it's resistant to physical rubbing and tears. Not sure about its oil resistance though. I'll update on that when summer comes. Other pros... The thin pencil makes it easy to draw. The color is a dark brown, almost black. There's also a lighter 'Brown Quartz' shade that's nice. Anyway, the quality is excellent regardless of the color, so I highly recommend buying it. You can get it even cheaper in the Daiso version. That one comes in red packaging, but the product inside is identical. There are no downsides. Maybe that the lead is short so it runs out quickly? But considering the price, it's all good. I want to stock up on about 10 of these! ***Update after using 3*** I take back what I said about no downsides. Maybe because it's thin and soft? It breaks easily, unfortunately. It seems to break more often the longer it's been open. Some break more easily than others... It seems to vary from pencil to pencil. Is it because it's thin and soft? I thought I'd found the perfect pencil eyeliner, but it has this critical flaw of breaking easily. So disappointing. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 27, 2025
I love how thin it is, making it perfect for precise application. The color payoff and staying power are both impressive. There's nothing I dislike about it. It never smudges, and the colors are beautiful! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinDec 10, 2024
On my third tube now... It applies smoothly and draws thin lines effortlessly. It's also perfect for tightlining. Being a gel eyeliner, it does tend to smudge. Since it's quite thin, you need to be careful not to twist up too much or it might break easily. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSep 3, 2024
I bought the Bronze Opal shade because black can be too intense and brown is for when I want a softer look. It's thinner than other products, making it easier to apply. Due to the nature of the liner, it glides on smoothly but can smudge or break easily. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJun 25, 2024
It's thin, which makes it easy to draw with, and the color is a nice medium between brown and black. There's nothing particularly bad, but because it's so thin, it tends to break easily, which is a bit disappointing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 16, 2024
Oh, this is fantastic! It's super thin and draws so well. I'm currently using several liners from Merzy. The price is a steal too! Well, this being a gel pencil type, there's some smudging, but that's unavoidable, so I understand. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinApr 3, 2024
It's thin and soft, making it convenient for applying to the front hairline. I've repurchased this product 11 times now, I think the amount is small compared to the price, and because it's so thin, once it gets clumpy, there's no saving it - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 27, 2024
It worked great as an eyeliner, staying put without smudging. It's so long-lasting that you'll need a proper makeup remover to take it off! Unfortunately, it smudged quite a bit when applied to the waterline. However, overall, I was pleased with its decent staying power. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMar 3, 2024
It draws smoothly and thinly, and the price is really great! I don't wear makeup often, but I used it all up in just a month and a half... Still, I've settled on this product because of its price and softness!
