ConsThe formula feels a bit heavy for a toner, and it doesn't seem to absorb well. It might feel a bit suffocating for oily skin types.
TipI'd actually recommend a low molecular weight hyaluronic acid instead!

There seem to be more disappointing aspects than positive ones. The main advantage is that the ingredients are clean, which is a significant plus.
ConsNot recommended for oily or combination skin types. The texture is too heavy and mucus-like, making it feel stuffy and weighty. It takes a long time to absorb, which might be overwhelming. The formulation is thick and sticky, dropping in globs, and absorbs very slowly. Compatibility issues: due to its texture, it pills and leaves a white residue when layered with sunscreen or makeup. I experienced this particularly with Dr. G Green Mild Sun Emulsion. Moisture-wise, despite the hyaluronic acid which should attract water, my skin felt extremely dry. Even after three layers, my skin would crack when smiling. Remember, skincare is personal and varies from person to person. You can test this product at Olive Young stores. I recommend doing a patch test on your hand, then trying it on your forehead and around your eyes before purchasing. I won't be repurchasing this.
TipIf you have very dry skin, here's a pro tip: After doing a patch test, try mixing in a small amount of jojoba oil. This can help prevent blemishes and boost hydration - killing two birds with one stone!

Texture/Application/Absorption: 👏👏 The product has a transparent, essence-like consistency similar to an ampoule, feeling moisturizing and smooth. A small amount spreads easily on the face, leaving it soft and supple. It doesn't absorb immediately, so gently patting helps it sink in better. 2. Hydration: ❣❣ The texture isn't runny, but rather has a viscous feel like a combination of essence and ampoule. After application, you can feel your face filling up with moisture! The finish isn't too sticky, but leaves skin feeling firm and bouncy. Perfect for my dry skin. While there's no oily feel, those with oily skin might find the hydration level a bit heavy! 3. Scent Almost fragrance-free. 4. Ingredients: 👍 Very gentle with no irritation. Hwahae confirms zero harmful ingredients! Even with my sensitive skin, I could use it without worrying about blemishes. 5. Price/Volume Available in 200ml and 400ml. I bought the 400ml set from Olive Young, which came with samples of the original toner and plus toner. The set was around 20,000 won! Great value for such a large volume 👍👍 6. Comparison with Hyaluronic Acid Toner Original While the original toner had a smooth, runny texture, the Plus version feels more like a viscous essence. I think this one provides better hydration.
Cons1. Packaging The opening is a bit small, and since the product is viscous and dense, it comes out slowly which can be frustrating. 2. The texture is a bit too thick for use as a skin pack. I recommend applying it directly to your face! Make sure to pat it in well with your hands for better absorption.
TipWhile I like this product, I prefer the original version. This would be great for those with very dry skin or for use during fall and winter 👍

The hydration lasts for a surprisingly long time.
ConsThe texture is a bit thick, which might feel slightly heavy on the skin. It takes some time to absorb well into the skin.
TipThis product seems better suited for colder weather or seasonal transitions rather than hot summer days.

Initially, it feels slippery, then slightly sticky as you pat it in, but with a bit more patting, it absorbs well without any stickiness. I'm very satisfied with the non-sticky finish. The ingredients are excellent too! It's not runny, but has a slight viscosity, so you don't feel like you're using it up too quickly. Due to its texture, it's not ideal for multiple layers, so I apply it once all over my face and then add a small amount for layering on drier areas like the cheeks.
ConsThose with oily skin might find it a bit heavy. I have extremely dry skin, so I was able to use it comfortably even in summer.

During summer, I didn't feel particularly dry even when using only this toner morning and night. Thanks to the hyaluronic acid, it was more hydrating than other toners. I appreciated that its viscous consistency, unlike watery formulas, didn't easily run off the skin.
ConsDue to its sticky texture, it required a bit more patting to absorb fully, and there was a slightly heavy and stuffy feeling. When I applied this toner alone, I didn't notice, but when layering a moisturizer or other products on top, it tended to pill a little. Also, after some time with just this toner on, it seemed like my skin produced more oil compared to when I used other toners.
TipWhen layering products over this toner, try patting them in gently. I wouldn't recommend this for those who dislike a slightly heavier feeling or for those with oily skin. However, it definitely provides a noticeable boost in hydration due to its rich texture. If hyaluronic acid works well for you, it might be worth trying once to see how your skin responds.
