  Pros

  The hyaluronic acid content is on point, giving it a wonderful absorbs well feeling. You can really sense the hydration being delivered to your skin.

  Cons

  When it comes to longevity, I'm a bit skeptical. If you apply it in the morning, it doesn't seem to last sufficiently until the afternoon.

  Tip

  I'd recommend applying it with your hands rather than using cotton pads!

  Pros

  This is the holy grail toner that finally ended my skincare nomad journey! Haha! I've tried their regular hyaluronic acid toner too, but this Plus version definitely feels like it penetrates deeper into the skin. It works best with exfoliating toner pads rather than regular cotton pads. As someone with dehydrated skin year-round who prefers thicker textures over watery ones, this really tackles that deep dryness. It absorbs well, and you can feel your skin drinking it up. When followed by a light essence, you can really sense your skin absorbing all the goodness.

  Cons

  I've really thought hard about this, but I can't find any downsides. I wish the bottle was a bit larger, but then again, if it were too big, it might be heavy and inconvenient to use...

  Tip

  I strongly recommend using this with exfoliating toner pads instead of regular cotton pads.

  The way it absorbs and its absorption power are great. It's the perfect toner for my sensitive skin.

  Pros

  I bought this product because my skin needed hydration. At first, I was excited to use it as it absorbed well and I expected it to make my skin moisturized.

  Cons

  As time passed, I started getting pustular acne on my face. If I used a little, my face would tingle, but if I used too much, I'd get blemishes. When a friend came over and really liked this product, I just gave it to her. I'm tired of being a nomad in search of the perfect skincare routine and want to settle down.

  Tip

  This product is best suited for skin that responds well to hyaluronic acid.

  Texture: It's an essence-like formula, not just a toner that feels like an essence, but a true essence in its own right. They might want to consider renaming it to 'essence'. It doesn't flow like water, but rather has a more cohesive texture. Usage experience: It's... quite ambiguous. I apply it with a cotton pad too. When using a cotton pad, it glides on incredibly smoothly, which is nice. However... I've heard hyaluronic acid is supposed to feel slippery, but this is far from that sensation. It feels like it absorbs slowly, and there's this lingering, slightly sticky feeling on the skin. Because of this, if you want to apply a cream over it, you absolutely need to wait about a minute. As someone who prefers quick absorption and a moisturized feel, this isn't particularly appealing... Effectiveness: This is where it gets tricky... Even if it doesn't absorb well, I'd appreciate it if it at least gave a deeply hydrated feeling, but it doesn't even do that. I have acne-prone combination dehydrated sensitive skin with a thin barrier and lots of sebaceous pores, and this product doesn't make my skin smoother or provide enough hydration to use it alone. Yet, I can't layer a moisturizer over it, which is frustrating. While it hasn't improved anything, it hasn't made anything worse either. So, I keep it around as a product to use when I don't have anything else, using it occasionally.

  Cons

  The poor absorption is probably the most ambiguous aspect. I thought the high molecular weight ingredients would create a protective layer on the skin, but contrary to my expectations, it just feels slippery...

Texture/Application/Absorption: 👏👏 The product has a transparent, essence-like consistency similar to an ampoule, feeling moisturizing and smooth. A small amount spreads easily on the face, leaving it soft and supple. It doesn't absorb immediately, so gently patting helps it sink in better. 2. Hydration: ❣❣ The texture isn't runny, but rather has a viscous feel like a combination of essence and ampoule. After application, you can feel your face filling up with moisture! The finish isn't too sticky, but leaves skin feeling firm and bouncy. Perfect for my dry skin. While there's no oily feel, those with oily skin might find the hydration level a bit heavy! 3. Scent Almost fragrance-free. 4. Ingredients: 👍 Very gentle with no irritation. Hwahae confirms zero harmful ingredients! Even with my sensitive skin, I could use it without worrying about blemishes. 5. Price/Volume Available in 200ml and 400ml. I bought the 400ml set from Olive Young, which came with samples of the original toner and plus toner. The set was around 20,000 won! Great value for such a large volume 👍👍 6. Comparison with Hyaluronic Acid Toner Original While the original toner had a smooth, runny texture, the Plus version feels more like a viscous essence. I think this one provides better hydration.

  Cons

  1. Packaging The opening is a bit small, and since the product is viscous and dense, it comes out slowly which can be frustrating. 2. The texture is a bit too thick for use as a skin pack. I recommend applying it directly to your face! Make sure to pat it in well with your hands for better absorption.

  Tip

  While I like this product, I prefer the original version. This would be great for those with very dry skin or for use during fall and winter 👍
