Daytime lip balm just wasn't cutting it... So I decided to take action. I found a great deal on Coupang for a 3-pack, which was very affordable. It seems you can find it at reasonable prices in various places if you search around. The texture is thick and rich, as you'd expect from a lip mask, which I liked. It's not unpleasantly sticky, but has just the right consistency to apply a generous layer. I had a healing crack in the middle of my lip from laughing, and some peeling skin, making it quite sensitive. While I felt a slight warming sensation, it wasn't painful at all. Oh, and the scent? It's like strawberry bubble gum or candy - a sweet smell that lives up to the product name. Anyway, I applied a thick layer before bed the first night, and the next day I could already feel the difference. Maybe the effects were amplified because my lips were so dry to begin with, but when I woke up, there was just a slight moisturized feeling left. It seemed to have absorbed well overnight. After gently wiping off the remaining product, I could see that my lip condition had noticeably improved. Considering the price, I'm very satisfied with the results.
ConsIt's a shame there's no spatula-like tool included. For now, I'm using a cotton swab to apply it, but the narrow opening makes it difficult to use your fingers to scoop it out.
TipFor those of you with lengthy makeup routines, try applying this to your lips before you start your makeup, then blot with a tissue a few times just before applying your lip color.
