I had high hopes, but it just didn't work for me.
ConsFirst off, the scent is a big no-no. It's got that strong cosmetic smell... As someone who prefers fragrance-free products, this was a major disappointment. I couldn't test it at the store where I bought it, so I had no idea the scent would be this overpowering. I mistakenly assumed La Roche-Posay would have gentle, subtle products - that's on me! My face gets itchy, so I don't think I can continue using it. I might try using it just on my neck or spot-treating areas with lots of freckles. I'll try to use up the bottle somehow! This product made me realize I might have sensitive skin when it comes to skincare. Definitely won't repurchase or recommend!

It's also quite expensive.
ConsAs someone with super sensitive skin, I experienced a tingling sensation. The fragrance is truly awful and puts me in a bad mood. It has an artificial cosmetic scent, but over time, it develops a subtle metallic odor, like coins. It's really unpleasant. I've had great experiences with La Roche-Posay's B5 regenerating cream and Hyalu B5 ampoule, but I can't bring myself to apply this to my face.

Application: The texture is very similar to a certain cold medicine, but it spreads more thinly and evenly when applied, making it easy to distribute across the skin. Experience: Unlike many vitamin serums that can lack hydration, this one provides a good level of moisture. I've noticed my skin feels softer in the morning after use (though I don't use it daily).
ConsPackaging: The dropper tip isn't well-designed - it has a 1mm hole that causes the product to stream out rather than drop, making it difficult to control the amount. The thick dropper and narrow bottle neck lead to product buildup around the opening and residue inside the cap. Scent: It has a complex artificial fragrance mixing orange, maple syrup, and notes reminiscent of dog shampoo. While these initial scents are tolerable, they fade to reveal an unpleasant rubber and metallic smell that lingers until you wash it off, potentially causing headaches. Minimal Brightening Effect: I used it daily on my chin scars initially but saw no noticeable difference. Interestingly, when I switched to using sunscreen daily instead, my scars actually faded. While it may provide some nourishment that gives an overall brighter appearance, it didn't actually whiten my skin.
TipI don't recommend using this together with the same brand's Cica Plus Balm as it can cause pilling.

My skincare routine is simple, using just the basic toner with essence or moisturizer, avoiding layering multiple products at once. • The texture has a slight viscosity and applies smoothly. It feels somewhat silky, not sticky, and absorbs faster than I expected. • Being a vitamin C + hydration product, I found it less drying than the Cellex-C I used before, which is great. With Cellex-C, I always had to apply a moisturizer, but this product is complete on its own, which is convenient. It's sufficient by itself in summer, but I'm not sure about colder months. • Though I've only used it for a short time without dramatic effects, my complexion seems to have improved. I believe consistent use could lead to noticeable skin tone improvement. • Since it's a vitamin C product, I avoided using it during the day in hot weather to skip the hassle of reapplying sunscreen. • Unlike Cellex-C, which caused a strong tingling sensation, this product didn't sting at all. It doesn't seem to be a high-concentration vitamin C product, but with added hydration, it feels comfortable and suitable for regular use.
Cons• The packaging is very inconvenient. The runny formula with a thick, blunt-tipped dropper easily gets messy, and it leaks when carried, making the container very untidy. • The ingredients don't seem particularly impressive, and the scent is a mix of various cosmetic smells. I wonder if it would have been better without added fragrance.
TipIt seems to be a decent vitamin C + hydration product that's easy to incorporate into your routine.

I don't have sensitive skin, so please keep my skin type in mind when reading this review. ❗️Skin type: Dry, prone to deep dryness, lots of peach fuzz, average pores, not sensitive but too oily products cause sebum, occasional cystic acne and frequent blemishes in the T-zone, #22 yellow-based complexion 👍Pros 1. Tackles deep dryness => Effective for blemishes The texture is quite rich for an ampoule. It might seem a bit heavy and oily at first, but it becomes delightfully elastic when applied and patted in. I mainly use it in my T-zone, and by addressing the deep dryness, it seems to help with blemish control! ❗️Recommended for very dry skin 2. Brightens complexion, effective on dark spots As a vitamin ampoule, I expected anti-aging and brightening effects. After applying it to my T-zone and cheeks every night for about two weeks, I could notice a brighter complexion in the morning! (Not lightening the skin tone, but evening out dark spots and skin texture for a radiant look) 3. While it might seem pricey for the amount, the rich formula means you only need a little, so it lasts longer!
Cons1. The thick texture means some product gets stuck on the bottle opening every time you use it, which is a bit wasteful. 2. Strong artificial scent It looks fresh and orange-y, but has a strong artificial powdery fragrance that I didn't like. It would have matched the image better if it had a fresh scent like the Goodal serum. 3. Moisturizing and elastic, but causes pilling I only used it for evening skincare It felt a bit heavy during the day, perhaps because it's still warm and I was sweating.
Tip1. Use it in your nighttime skincare routine. Order: Toner > Vita 100 Serum✔️> Moisturizer 2. Dispense onto the back of your hand and pat onto both cheeks. Don't rub, just pat and press with your palms to aid absorption > This helps it absorb better and doesn't irritate the skin.

Product Packaging: When I first received the product, it came with jelly candies, which felt like a nice bonus! Both the product and the jellies were orange, clearly shouting 'I'm Vitamin C!' It made me think the packaging concept was well-executed. After trying this product, which claims to be good for soothing, moisturizing, improving wrinkles, and exfoliating: Color and Texture: I was surprised to find that not only the bottle but the serum itself was orange-tinted. It really drove home the 'vitamin' concept! The texture, while not entirely clear, felt lightweight. Moisture and After-feel: When applying, there's a pleasant cooling effect that feels refreshing. At first, I worried it might be too moist, thinking my hair would stick to my face. However, it quickly formed a smooth moisture barrier. It didn't just evaporate - instead, it felt like the hydration was locked into the deeper layers of my skin! Usually, I avoid heavy serums, but this one feels light on the skin while maintaining its moisturizing properties. That's why I've been using it consistently. Effectiveness: I typically have redness on my cheeks, but after using this product consistently for a week, I noticed a significant reduction. Perhaps because of this, my overall complexion seemed brighter. Even without makeup, I received many compliments on how vibrant my skin looked.
ConsScent: I've never been particularly opinionated about cosmetic fragrances, but this product made me realize for the first time that a skincare scent could be off-putting. Some people describe it as a white musk scent, but to me, it smells like a strong men's toner. When I apply it before bed, the lingering scent can be a bit bothersome. I would cautiously recommend that those sensitive to smells might want to consider other products. Dropper: Unlike the concave droppers I'm used to in other serums, this one has a straight-edged dropper. It's my first time using this type, so it felt a bit unfamiliar and slightly inconvenient. However, I think I'll get used to it with time! It didn't cause any major issues in dispensing the product. Price: As I received this through The Hwahae Testers, I hadn't paid much attention to the price. When I looked it up for this review, I was surprised to see it's in the 50,000 won range. Considering it's a basic skincare product with about a 2-month shelf life once opened, I found the price a bit burdensome. My repurchase intention is about 60%, assuming there's a discount available.
TipWhen using this product along with other skincare items and then applying makeup, there can be some pilling or clumping. Therefore, I recommend using it at night for skincare purposes.

I was looking for something to replenish my skin's hydration and vitamin C, and I'm thrilled to have won this! It's fantastic. My skin type: Sensitive, between extremely dry and dry. 👉 Hydration I have such dry skin that even applying slightly matte products on my cheeks causes cracking and deep dryness. After cleansing, my skin feels like it's about to tear. So, I prioritize that moisturized feeling. When I apply this before bed, even a thin layer keeps my skin hydrated until the next day! Usually, I need to do intense hydration care before applying cushion foundation in the morning, but with this product, the moisture remains even after washing my face. I was amazed that I could apply cushion without any additional steps (though I do use a hydrating cushion). 👉 Texture I usually avoid sticky or thick textures, but this one is just right! It's slightly rich but not overly so. As it absorbs, it becomes less tacky, which I really enjoy. I love the texture, but if you prefer lightweight, fresh formulas and dislike any stickiness, this might not be for you. 👉 Conclusion Recommended for: Those with dry skin needing hydration or anyone looking for vitamin C benefits! Not recommended for: Those who dislike rich or slightly sticky textures. You probably won't enjoy the formula.
ConsIf there are good points, there must be some downsides too, right? 👉 Scent The fragrance is really... sickly sweet and not pleasant at all. It's overwhelming and smells like old-fashioned cosmetics. I'm quite sensitive to scents, and I couldn't sleep when I applied too much. It's hard to describe - a bit sour? Sweet? That kind of scent. 👉 Ingredients Being sensitive-skinned, I was really worried about the ingredients. While I didn't get acne or anything like that, I'm not sure if it's related, but I occasionally felt itchy, and I developed some small bumps. Not acne, but something similar. 👉 Conclusion Recommended for: 'I don't care about fragrance, I'm not sensitive-skinned, and I just need hydration and vitamin C.' Not recommended for: 'Well... I'm sensitive to fragrances, and my skin reacts badly to certain ingredients...'
Tip- In the evening, try layering it gradually. Apply a bit, let it absorb, then apply more. This method keeps your skin hydrated until the next day! - For those with dry skin who want to use a matte cushion foundation, try applying a thin layer of this in the morning before your cushion. It keeps your skin hydrated even with a matte finish!

It's perfect for combination dehydrated skin when used alone, providing just the right amount of hydration without feeling dry. Usually, products this moisturizing tend to get oily later, but this one doesn't leave a rich residue. As someone with super sensitive skin who struggles to find suitable skincare, I'm thrilled that this didn't cause any blemishes. In short, it's a holy grail product.
ConsIt smells like a mix of all kinds of cosmetics you'd find in an old-fashioned department store beauty section. It's like they've combined the scents of powder, compact, cushion foundation, and BB cream all in one.
