I bought it hoping to improve my complexion and blemishes, but I haven't seen much effect yet. I've used about half the bottle. If you think of it as just an essence to use after toner, rather than a vitamin C serum, it seems like a decent product to use. It's not extremely oily or moisturizing, but it somehow absorbs into the skin really well, like it's meant to be there. The scent seems to be a matter of personal preference, but I found it to be fine.
ConsMaybe because it contains a lot of vitamin C, it tends to stain my pillow when I apply it at night and go to sleep. Even when I'm lazy on weekends and only wash my face with water, it leaves very yellow stains on the towel. It might not seem like a big deal, but if your bedding is white, it can be quite annoying and bothersome. Also, the container has a dropper, but you have to close it very carefully, otherwise it leaks from the sides. The leaked product then discolors and hardens, making the container opening messy.
TipAll in all, I think this is a product without any significant pros or cons, so I don't plan to repurchase it. It's not particularly attractive price-wise if you're only looking for hydration...

The scent isn't overpowering, so it doesn't cause any discomfort.
ConsI have seborrheic dermatitis and generally sensitive skin. When I first used it, it stung terribly. As I gradually got used to it, I suddenly developed milia. While it may or may not be due to this product, I stopped using it after two major breakouts.

I definitely felt it absorbing quickly into my skin. The best part was feeling it truly penetrate the skin. Also, it left no residue, so I could layer a hydrating essence on top without any heaviness. I've been using it morning and night for about two weeks now, and most of the blemishes I got from wearing a mask for long periods have subsided. Regarding the scent, which some reviews mention, it's a bit unique, but I found it tolerable and had no issues using it.
ConsConsidering the short 2-month use-by period after opening, the amount seems a bit much. I'm not sure if I can use it all up in time. It's quite pricey, so you'll want to watch for sales. Also, the dropper comes loose in the box without separate packaging, which feels a bit unsanitary. You might want to sterilize it before use.

Although it didn't suit me personally, I passed it on to a friend who says it's amazing - her skin became smoother and she loves it.
ConsI have sensitive skin with a thin barrier and vitamin products don't usually agree with me. As I feared, this product caused a tingling sensation. I've had issues with other vitamin serums before, like the G* blemish serum that caused small bumps and irritation. This one also made my skin red and tingly, so I stopped using it immediately. According to my friend, it doesn't really help with blemishes, and being a vitamin product, it's not very hydrating. Moreover, the packaging is inconvenient and it's not exactly budget-friendly, which is disappointing.

Compared to other products, it has a feeling of sinking in smoothly.
ConsAnyone who's used this will agree that the packaging is... The dropper is really inconvenient. When you close it, the product spills all over the sides. Despite how well it absorbs, you can still feel that typical vitamin C pilling effect. They say it's good to apply with sunscreen during the day, but it's difficult to use because of the pilling.
TipIt's said that using vitamin C products alone is less irritating to the skin. If you want to add a moisturizing product, applying one with vitamin E (tocopherol) in a hydrating formula can help with absorption.

There's no stickiness either. I have oily, summer-prone skin, and it suits me so well that I'm on my second bottle. It feels like it's really soothing my skin too.
ConsThe dropper is inconvenient to use... It keeps dripping from the bottle opening... Also, if you use it for a long time, the color changes, so it's better to use it up quickly...

There's adenosine to help with wrinkle improvement through neurosensing, and salicylic acid for dead skin cell care. Truly, this serum is an all-in-one solution for your skincare routine. It's not sticky at all, and while it gives a beautiful hydrated glow, the texture absorbs quickly and feels light. It's perfect for daily use, whether in the morning or evening.
ConsDue to its high vitamin content, avoid applying before going out. It's better to spread a thin layer rather than layering it on thick.
TipApplying it before bed works wonders for your skin.

I've been using it consistently since I bought it on sale at Olive Young.
ConsThe dropper is really subpar. I truly wish they would improve it. It's practically useless. The price is quite steep, so I'm using it sparingly.
TipI apply it after cleansing my face in the evening before bed.

As someone with oily skin, I usually struggle with heavy products like ampoules, but this one feels light and refreshing when you control the quantity and help it absorb well. - Since it's not too cold yet, I recommend those with oily skin to keep their base skincare light when using this! - I've been using it for just under two weeks, and the most noticeable improvement has been in my skin texture! It also helps with dead skin cells, and I'm so grateful because my skin has been rough lately due to lack of sleep, but this has made it feel so much softer.
Cons- Because of its viscosity, quite a bit of product tends to stick to the outside of the dropper. The bottle opening is quite narrow, so you need to be careful when inserting and removing the dropper to avoid getting product all over the opening. Other than that, I didn't find any particular downsides! - Scent: It was fine for me, but it's on the stronger side, so it might not suit those sensitive to fragrances.
Tip- As expected with heavier formulas like ampoules, it seems to absorb best when you warm it between your palms and then press it into your skin! I recommend this method if you find the finish too sticky. - Being a Vitamin C product, there's definitely a slight warming or tingling sensation. Those with super sensitive skin should take note!

It's not overly oily, so it doesn't just sit on the surface. As you massage it in, you'll notice it absorbs well, without leaving any sticky residue. Hydration: Despite being a serum, it provides excellent moisturizing benefits. As someone with dry skin, I can still feel the hydrating effects when I wash my face in the morning. Even in warm weather, I didn't experience any dryness using just a light toner and this product (perfect for evening out skin tone without needing a heavy cream).
ConsDropper (Container): I've noticed many other reviewers mentioning this too. The straight tube design of the dropper can cause the product to spill out if you're not careful. La Roche-Posay really needs to address this issue. Wrinkle Improvement and Soothing: I started using this to round out my skincare routine, but I haven't seen any noticeable effects on wrinkles yet. To be fair, I don't have many wrinkles to begin with. Similarly, I didn't experience any significant soothing effects, and it even caused a slight tingling sensation on sensitive areas.
