As soon as I applied it, I felt it was incredibly similar to Etude's Radial Gray. It's a muted, low-saturation brown eyeshadow with a grayish tone and no shimmer. The main difference is that Etude has a subtle pearl finish, while this one doesn't. It's really a matter of personal preference. Personally, I prefer this one from BBIA because the color payoff is better. It would also work great as a contour shade. There's nothing particularly bad about it... If I had to nitpick, I'd say that while BBIA eyeshadows are high quality, the range of shades is limited. I wish they'd come out with a wider variety of colors. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 23, 2020
I bought this for contouring and I love how it creates a natural shadow effect. The brown has a grayish undertone rather than red or yellow, which looks very natural. While the pigmentation is on the lighter side, you can build it up for a more intense look by layering. The disappointing part is definitely the packaging. It feels cheap and the eyeshadow case seems like it could break easily. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJul 15, 2019
I use this both as a contour and an eyeshadow. Personally, I reach for it more often for contouring. I love that it's a grayish-brown without any redness, which really suits my taste. The powder is so finely milled that it can occasionally clump when applied with fingers. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJan 14, 2019
The color payoff is great and the texture is incredibly fine, making it a pleasure to use! It feels so soft and smooth to the touch. The shadow isn't a yellow-tinted brown, but more of a grayish-brown, which looks super natural for nose contouring, chin shading, and adding depth to the eyes. The photo I attached looks a bit reddish for some reason, but in reality, it's a brown without any red undertones. Also, I usually get blemishes when I use contouring products, but this shadow didn't seem to cause any skin issues! The case and the shadow look like they might break or shatter easily if dropped. I haven't actually dropped it, but it makes me feel like I need to be extra careful when using it. This color is perfect for natural contouring and adding depth. Considering the quality at this price point, I think it offers excellent value for money! If you're looking for a grayish-brown shade, I highly recommend Pia's Job's Tears! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinDec 14, 2018
The color is well-crafted - a lovely ash brown. I'd recommend it, especially considering the price point. To be honest, I intended to use this for facial contouring, but it barely showed up. For nose contouring, I already have a product I use, and this one seems a bit too dark in comparison. As for using it on the eyes, it feels a bit dull, so I'm in a bit of a quandary about its use. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 29, 2018

Absorbs smoothly and easily In a pinch, you can use this for eyebrows, eyes, and nose - it's quite versatile A grayish-brown shade without any redness Great for daily use It would be convenient if it came with a multi-purpose container that could hold other products for easy portability - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJun 15, 2017
This is a great daily color, with fine particles and excellent pigmentation. The reddish undertones are gone, leaving a beautiful grayish-brown shade. The lid is a bit difficult to open and close. The case feels a bit fragile. Photo attached (comparison shot) - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 14, 2017
I use this for chin shading and it has no reddish tones, with a nice brown tone that looks natural and good. It's not too yellowish either, and the color is just like a shadow. None. As a shadow, it can be a bit difficult to pick up with a shading brush.. It gets used up quickly. Just swipe it on the brush and apply it to the chin, it works great. Fundamentally, this is a well-pigmented shadow, so you need to be careful with the amount when using it for nose shading. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinMay 22, 2016
It's a grayish-brown color without any redness, so it works great for nose shading, chin shading, and eyebrow drawing! I mainly use it for eyebrow drawing, and it seems to match very well with uncolored black hair. When using it for shading, you definitely need to be careful with the application amount. I don't think there were any disappointing aspects. If I had to pick one, it would be that it has to be purchased online?
