  As someone with a sensitive scalp prone to dead skin cells, dandruff, and oiliness, I've found this shampoo to be a game-changer. When used with lukewarm water to soften the scalp and applied in the right amount, it leaves my scalp feeling refreshed. I haven't experienced any flaking or itching since I started using it.

  Cons

  There wasn't anything I disliked about it. If I had to nitpick, I'd say the scent isn't particularly special. But even then, the fragrance isn't unpleasant at all.

  Back to Polygen after all this time! My scalp is oily but dehydrated, so I deal with itching, blemishes, and dandruff that change daily... It was so frustrating that I became a shampoo nomad. After using a pricey scalp clinic shampoo for a while, I've returned to Polygen and have been using it for about a month! Maybe it's because it's been a while, but the shampoo seems to be working its magic! I love how my hair feels moisturized while my scalp feels invigorated!! I heard there's a renewed version out, so I'll try that once I finish this bottle.

  Hmm... the fragrance seems stronger? That might just be because the shampoo I was using before had almost no scent. There aren't any major drawbacks that stand out.

  Tip

  It works even better when used with Dr. For Hair tonic.

  I absolutely hated dandruff and greasy buildup on my scalp, so I switched shampoos several times without success. Then I discovered this shampoo, and it's been a game-changer. It's significantly reduced my dandruff and oiliness, so I've been loyal to it for years now.

  Cons

  The downside? It can make your hair feel a bit dry. Also, there are times when it seems like my scalp gets oily again occasionally.

  Tip

  For best results, I've found that wetting your hair with lukewarm water for about a minute, then applying the shampoo thoroughly to your scalp, and waiting 3 minutes before rinsing seems to really help control the oiliness.

  Pros

  I had seborrheic dermatitis, but after using this, I found my salvation. My scalp was dry, itchy, and had large flaky patches like scabs, but all of that improved significantly. I've been using this for over five years now, after trying various other shampoos.

  Cons

  It's disappointing that there's almost no fragrance. I was surprised to find that it contains quite a few ingredients that aren't great for sensitive skin. I'll need to look for other shampoos and check their ingredients on Hwahae.

  Tip

  Since shampoo can be harsh when applied directly to the scalp, it's better to use a foaming net to create lather and then wash your hair with the foam.

  My scalp was so dry in winter, causing a lot of dandruff. When I tried this, the dandruff disappeared! Plus, it feels incredibly refreshing after use.

  Cons

  I naturally have a lot of hair loss, but I couldn't feel any hair loss prevention effects. Also, the scent is quite strong, like chrysanthemum? And the price is quite steep.

  This works much better for me than the original Polygen. It leaves my scalp feeling refreshed, reduces dandruff, and has a delightfully crisp scent.

  Cons

  Although it's on the pricier side, I'm committed to using only this product! I'll definitely keep purchasing it.
