As someone who's been experiencing a lot of hair loss lately, I decided to try this product that my mom has been using consistently. Fellow hair loss sufferers will understand - you can really feel the product's effectiveness the moment you lather it up, massage it into your scalp, and rinse it out! It doesn't strip away too much oil, leaving your hair feeling just the right amount of clean and refreshed. After drying, my hair doesn't feel greasy at all, and I can even notice an improvement in scalp volume. I've actually tried Dr. For Hair Original before, but I find that the Cell Energy version has a more pleasant scent and works better for me overall. It's become a staple in my routine, and I've even started stocking up on it because I want to use it long-term. While I didn't experience any blemishes or itching, I feel like the amount of product is a bit less compared to other shampoos. Using one pump per day, it seems to disappear quite quickly. The reviewer compares this product favorably to another in the same line, noting better fragrance and overall effectiveness. They also mention that they're buying extra to ensure they can use it for a long time, indicating strong satisfaction with the product. - r1*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 1, 2025
It definitely works for hair loss. The rich, bouncy texture is appealing, and it lathers up nicely. I wouldn't strongly recommend it for oily hair types. It leaves a slightly greasy feeling on the scalp. - ym****May 25, 2025
Well, everything else seems not too bad. The scent is just okay, and how my hair feels after washing is also alright. Strangely, ever since I started using this shampoo, I've been experiencing blemishes on my scalp. - sr****Dry SkinRecommendedMay 16, 2025
I bought this because Phytotherapy was not available at Costco. This is also a hit. After washing my hair, only a few strands fell out. My hair feels soft. Although I have a sensitive scalp, this is very gentle and there are no issues at all. It's just amazing, there's nothing lacking. It seems like there are no irritating ingredients. It's cheaper to just buy it at Costco. - kn*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 1, 2025
It lathers well and has great cleansing effectiveness. It's a reliable shampoo that's easy to use. I'm not sure if it has any significant effects. It's probably best to use it without high expectations. - gr********Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 21, 2025
I bought this with some skepticism due to my severe hair loss, and to be honest, I don't think it's making my hair grow back. However, it does seem to help reduce hair fall. When I first used it, I experienced some minor blemishes, but they disappeared after a while. I find it's more effective to massage your scalp while washing your hair with this product. - gu*********Oily SkinAcne SkinEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMar 11, 2025
The texture feels like a rich, viscous liquid that's perfect for applying all over the scalp and working into a lather. The overall scent, user experience, and finish are quite satisfactory. The benefits are somewhat ambiguous, making it unclear whether it's worth repurchasing. If they were to launch a more affordable line and make it available at places like Daiso, I might consider giving it another try. - eh********Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 10, 2025
The scent is pleasantly mild and you get a generous amount. It leaves you feeling refreshed after washing, though it doesn't lather up much so you end up using it multiple times. For a product marketed as an anti-hair loss shampoo, it doesn't seem to have a dramatic effect on preventing hair loss... - ho******Oily SkinRecommendedMar 3, 2025
Great cleansing effectiveness and a decent formula that's perfect for oily skin types. Highly recommended! It's not meant to improve hair texture. Might leave your hair feeling a bit dry. - ak*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessFeb 25, 2025
It leaves my hair feeling soft and smooth. The lather is great, making it easy to use. For the first time in my life, I've developed an itchy scalp... It feels like I might have scalp dermatitis. I usually try different shampoos that are well-reviewed rather than sticking to one, but I've never experienced an itchy scalp before. Sigh... Because of this, I'm getting blemishes on my scalp that I never had before, and the itching is driving me crazy. I used it for 3-4 days, and it's been about 4 days since I stopped, but my scalp is still itchy. I think I need to see a dermatologist... Dermatologist's diagnosis: They said it seems to be contact dermatitis caused by the shampoo. It's best to carefully check the ingredients before purchasing.
