Personally, I don't find the scent too overwhelming. It absorbs well into the skin, leaving a moisturized feeling. While it gets absorbed quickly, the hydrating effect seems to last for a long time.
ConsIt does leave a slightly greasy feeling on the skin. After application, there's a sense that some product remains on the surface.

The texture is easy to spread, and I love the scent too.
ConsAfter application, it feels a bit greasy... It might work better if layered over a hydrating emulsion or moisturizer.
TipI think it would work well if applied over a hydrating base.

It's wonderfully moisturizing and has a nice, rich texture that makes it pleasant to apply, just like a good, basic hydrating cream. When I use this, I really feel like my skin is getting deeply hydrated. It absorbs well and seems to fill my skin with moisture.
ConsSince I have oily skin, when I apply this generously before bed, I wake up with my blemishes calmed down, but there's a bit of an inner glow or slight oiliness coming through. It made me think that if I wore this with a bare face, it might make me look even more shiny, so that's a no-go for me.
TipFor those who don't like overly dewy skin, use it generously only at night!

At first, I wasn't sure if it would suit my skin, but since it contains panthenol and hyaluronic acid, I decided to use it consistently for a week. I was initially concerned about the shea butter content, but even after the first couple of days, I didn't experience any major blemishes, so I was satisfied with how it felt on my skin. In fact, I liked that it felt like it was providing more nourishment to my skin than just hydration alone. If I had dry skin, this would probably be perfect for me!
ConsOne night when I was feeling lazy with my skincare routine, I just quickly wiped my face with toner on a cotton pad and slathered on this cream. The next day, my skin felt way too rich. Those with oily skin might find this cream a bit heavy, so make sure to properly hydrate your skin before applying this cream.
TipAs the product is described as a 'DIY cream', it's best to start with a solid foundation of your usual skincare routine - using your hydrating boosters, ampoules, or essences. Then, as a final step, apply an appropriate amount of this cream to seal everything in. This seems to be the most effective way to use it.

It was gentle, and after using it for a few days, I noticed an improvement in my skin texture. The cream itself was a bit thick to apply, so I mixed it with my usual serum, and the lasting power was impressive. Usually, even with layers of toner, serum, ampoule, mist, and cream, my extremely dry skin would still have makeup flaking off... But with this product, my makeup adhered well, and I didn't feel any dryness morning or night. I've had a great experience using it. I also liked the clean packaging design. Highly recommended for those with dry skin.
ConsMy sister has oily skin, and after using this product, her makeup looked greasy and seemed to float on her skin. While it might work well for those with dry skin, I wouldn't strongly recommend it for people with oily skin. The texture feels a bit thick when applying.
TipThis product doesn't apply lightly, so if you prefer a less heavy feel, try mixing it with your favorite serum or toner. It's perfect for those with dry skin or as a winter moisturizer.

What I really liked was the deep hydration feeling. While it doesn't absorb super quickly, applying it after smoothing your skin with toner feels amazing. I didn't experience any blemishes or breakouts. It has just the right amount of richness, so my skin doesn't feel heavy, and for me, it absorbs beautifully.
ConsIt feels like there's more oil than hydration... I usually apply cream widely with my palms, but there was so much residue that it was hard to touch anything afterward. About the scent - while I don't usually prioritize fragrance, those sensitive to this kind of smell might absolutely hate it.
TipMixing it with a serum or oil makes it even more moisturizing and lovely.

It's incredibly hydrating and absorbs well. What I loved most, though I'm not sure why, is that it was really effective for soothing! My face was a mess from excessive extractions, but after applying this before bed, almost all the redness had disappeared! I'm not sure if it has calming ingredients or what, but it was great anyway. Also, I love how smooth my skin feels after application! Originally, when I only used the Dokdo Cream, I felt some tightness, but using this definitely seems to have eliminated that feeling of skin pulling! I don't think it had much of a scent! I see it contains astringent and soothing ingredients! I think the Dokdo Cream had these too, and they seem to work well for me!
ConsIt was sticky and the texture wasn't my style. It was also quite rich. However, despite being rich, it didn't cause any blemishes to appear!
TipApply generously before going to bed!

Sorry for the delay, I almost forgot! First off, I really liked the ingredients. Beyond that? The absorption and how it sinks into the skin were fantastic. I have acne-prone combination skin with deep dryness and super sensitive skin.
ConsThere was a bit of oiliness, though. After application, it doesn't feel moisturizing but rather leaves an oily feeling on the face. I also didn't like the scent... To be honest, I probably wouldn't spend my own money on this.
TipHmm... nothing else to add.

I have dry skin with a lack of oil and moisture balance! First off, I love that it comes in a tube format - it's much more hygienic than jar packaging, which I'm not a fan of. It's really convenient to use! The cream applies smoothly on its own, and when blended with essence, it feels incredibly soft on the skin. It contains Centella Asiatica extract, so you can expect some help with blemishes too. When mixed with essences, I definitely felt an boost in hydration compared to using essence alone!
ConsUsing this cream by itself, I felt it lacked hydration while still feeling rich. It made me wonder if it's meant to be a blending cream. It might not suit all skin types. Personally, my face felt a bit itchy. (Note: I think I might be allergic to Centella Asiatica...)

As autumn arrived, the air became drier and heating devices were turned on. Even after applying cream, my skin would quickly dry out, leaving it dehydrated underneath while the surface felt greasy from unabsorbed product. I was struggling with this when I received this product to try. 1. Packaging - The first thing that caught my eye when I opened it was the simple packaging. Unlike other products that list ingredients or functions, this one boldly displays the product name and a striking purple color. 2. Scent - I'd describe it as typically 'derma-like'. It smells like a skin ointment with a hint of shea butter. It's similar to Physiogel but slightly stronger. At first, it might seem a bit intense, but you get used to it and it's not overpowering. When mixed with other products, the scent disappears. As someone whose skin reacts to fragranced products, I actually welcomed this kind of scent. 3. Texture - It's a milky white cream with no transparency and a rich feel. However, it's not too thick and applies lightly, living up to its name as a 'blending cream' that mixes well with any product. 4. User Experience - For me, it's excellent. I rate products based on whether I'd spend my own money on them, and this gets five stars. I'll likely purchase it when I run out. As someone with dry skin, I use shea butter products, but this feels as light as Physiogel even in summer. When the weather turned cold, my skin was suffering from deep dryness and unabsorbed oil on the surface, emphasizing wrinkles. Even mixing oil balm didn't help, but this product made my skin feel comfortable. The product description suggested mixing it with serums from J's Derma's other lines, but since I didn't have those, I tried it with my own serums and cream oil balms. I start with an exfoliating toner as a first essence. During the day, I finish my routine by mixing this cream with a small amount of oil balm. At night, I mix it with serum for a light application, followed by a mix of oil balm and cream. Even with the heat from my warm water mattress, my skin stays hydrated until morning. When I touch my face during my morning cleanse, there's no dead skin cells and my skin feels smooth. This product feels like a makeup base for skincare. When blended with other products, it helps them absorb better and last longer. If your skin tends to get red and hot, this might help as it contains Centella Asiatica extract for soothing effects, and it definitely keeps the skin cooler than when not using it.
Cons1. If used alone, it might be a bit dry for those with very dry skin. However, this issue is resolved when mixed with your existing products. 2. Due to the shea butter content, those with oily skin might find it a bit greasy. 3. If you dislike the scent of ointments, you might find the fragrance a bit overwhelming.
TipThere's a reason why it's called a blending cream. Try mixing it with serums or balm-type products. I'm currently using Kim Jung Moon Aloe oil balm, and when mixed together, it's not sticky at all and doesn't rub off easily, which I love. I think it would work well with other oil balms too. If you exfoliate to smooth your skin texture before applying, it absorbs even better and makes your skin look really good.
