The size is also perfect for carrying in your makeup bag. Texture & Fragrance: As someone with dry skin, I particularly appreciated the texture. It's thicker than a cream, somewhere between a cream and an ointment. This means it doesn't dry quickly and blends well with other serums and BB creams. Now I understand why it's called a blending cream. The scent might be divisive... I enjoyed its subtle, aromatherapy-like fragrance, but when I asked a friend to try it, she wasn't a fan, saying it smelled medicinal. Application & Absorption: I have dry skin, so I usually apply a thick layer before bed. With other creams, this can be messy and transfer to my pillow. However, the Laneige Blending Cream gives an instant glossy finish and absorbs quickly. It's great for mixing with serums before bedtime. I felt it absorbed even better when blended with a serum.
ConsHydration: I started using this product last week, and initially, it seemed fine on its own. I didn't feel dry at all. However, when the weather suddenly turned cold this week, using it alone left my skin dry and flaky after just one day. I had to quickly start mixing it with serum and even adding a bit to my BB cream. After that, my skin felt more hydrated. Since I'm writing this review after only two weeks, I haven't noticed any major changes, but it did improve quickly within a day or two. It seems I'll need to consistently use it as part of a blended routine. Fragrance: I'm mentioning the scent in both pros and cons because it's likely to be polarizing. While I enjoyed its subtle, aromatic fragrance, a friend who tested it once disliked it, saying it smelled like medicinal ointment.
TipTips for those with very dry skin: After toner, mix the Laneige cream with your serum, then apply another layer of cream on top like a coating before bed. You'll wake up with radiant, deeply hydrated skin. In this dry weather, carry it with you and apply a little bit to dry areas throughout the day. It helps calm any flaky skin.

My skin has transitioned from oily to dry. I wish it would stick to one type, but it seems my skin is as restless as my zodiac sign suggests. With the current dry weather, my skin is craving hydration more than ever. I received the product on November 5th and am writing this review after 6 days of use. Today, I'll try to keep my review calm and collected, mainly because I'm a bit sleepy. 1. Application: It applies wonderfully. The texture is rich (like a mix of ointment and cream), but it spreads incredibly smoothly. When used as directed by mixing with other products, it transforms into an emulsion-like consistency, making it even lighter to apply. 2. Finish: The finish is moisturizing and smooth. Unlike many creams with similar textures that often leave a sticky residue, this one leaves your skin feeling like a baby's bottom after applying lotion - soft, moisturized, and smooth. It creates a hydrating barrier on the skin, which I absolutely love. It also adds a subtle glow. 3. Adherence: Despite its rich texture, it doesn't pill under makeup. When applied before makeup, it firms up the skin while providing excellent adherence, preventing any slipping. I think it's more suitable for daytime use than nighttime.
Cons1. Moisturizing effect: For me, the hydration is severely lacking. While my skin isn't so dry that it flakes all over, I do experience some flaking around my mouth and chin. I initially thought this would be perfect for nighttime use due to its texture, but the moisture evaporated quickly, which was quite disappointing. It seems to dry even faster in this dry autumn-winter season. It might be more suitable for summer use. 2. Scent: The herbal scent is quite polarizing. This cream has a strong herbal fragrance that some may love and others may hate. It's a bit like a syllogism - I never thought I'd use that term here! However, the scent does dissipate quickly. Unfortunately, so does the moisture and the glow. Due to the lack of lasting hydration, I've given it an overall rating of 3 stars. However, it seems like a decent cream for general use.
Tip1. It might work well as a boosting cream before makeup, without mixing it with anything else. [Photo descriptions] 1-Excitedly taken photo 2-Applicator 3-When squeezed out (holds its shape well due to its firmness) 4-Simply spread out 5-Spread out after mixing with ampoule 6-Stickiness test (product alone) Thank you for reading through this mundane review. I'm off to bed now.

I used only this product for my skincare routine, both morning and night, to see its effects. I have combination dehydrated skin with lots of small blemishes. What I liked is that it absorbs well into the skin. Usually, products that absorb well tend to pill when layered with other products or makeup, but this one didn't do that at all. It felt like it was filling my skin with hydration, and there was no slippery feeling after application. When used alone, it would be great for a light morning application.
ConsThe scent was a bit like a mix of herbal medicine and something strange. I usually don't mind fragrances, but this was the first time I felt put off by one. However, you only need to tolerate it briefly while applying, as the scent doesn't linger. Also, when used alone, it felt a bit dry for nighttime use. I didn't see any significant improvements after using it, and it doesn't really help with dead skin cells.
TipI'd recommend mixing it with other products when you apply it.
