The texture is easy to spread, and I love the scent too.
ConsAfter application, it feels a bit greasy... It might work better if layered over a hydrating emulsion or moisturizer.
TipI think it would work well if applied over a hydrating base.

My skin feels so hydrated. I'd recommend this to everyone!
ConsIt's quite rich, which makes it great for winter use. However, I don't think it would be suitable for summer.

I heard it works wonders when mixed with ampoules, so I tried blending it with the ones I had at home! In the morning, I mixed it with a lighter vitamin serum, and it kept my skin hydrated until the afternoon. For the evening, I blended it with a richer ampoule and applied it to my face. When I woke up, my skin didn't feel tight at all. Instead, there was just the right amount of moisture left, making my face feel much more comfortable. While it's not as thick as I expected, it has a nice consistency that doesn't make my hair stick to my face. I tend to break out when my skin absorbs too much nourishment, but this cream provides just the right amount of hydration without causing any blemishes!
ConsI think using an ampoule from the same company might create a better synergy effect. While it's nicely moisturizing, I didn't feel like it blended well with the ampoules I have at home. Also, the absorption wasn't as smooth as I'd hoped - it felt a bit disjointed when applying, which was slightly disappointing.
TipOn days when I want to keep my skincare routine simple, I just do a quick cleanse, lightly pat in some toner, then apply this cream followed by a spritz of mist. It's less drying and provides just the right amount of hydration!

The size is also perfect for carrying in your makeup bag. Texture & Fragrance: As someone with dry skin, I particularly appreciated the texture. It's thicker than a cream, somewhere between a cream and an ointment. This means it doesn't dry quickly and blends well with other serums and BB creams. Now I understand why it's called a blending cream. The scent might be divisive... I enjoyed its subtle, aromatherapy-like fragrance, but when I asked a friend to try it, she wasn't a fan, saying it smelled medicinal. Application & Absorption: I have dry skin, so I usually apply a thick layer before bed. With other creams, this can be messy and transfer to my pillow. However, the Laneige Blending Cream gives an instant glossy finish and absorbs quickly. It's great for mixing with serums before bedtime. I felt it absorbed even better when blended with a serum.
ConsHydration: I started using this product last week, and initially, it seemed fine on its own. I didn't feel dry at all. However, when the weather suddenly turned cold this week, using it alone left my skin dry and flaky after just one day. I had to quickly start mixing it with serum and even adding a bit to my BB cream. After that, my skin felt more hydrated. Since I'm writing this review after only two weeks, I haven't noticed any major changes, but it did improve quickly within a day or two. It seems I'll need to consistently use it as part of a blended routine. Fragrance: I'm mentioning the scent in both pros and cons because it's likely to be polarizing. While I enjoyed its subtle, aromatic fragrance, a friend who tested it once disliked it, saying it smelled like medicinal ointment.
TipTips for those with very dry skin: After toner, mix the Laneige cream with your serum, then apply another layer of cream on top like a coating before bed. You'll wake up with radiant, deeply hydrated skin. In this dry weather, carry it with you and apply a little bit to dry areas throughout the day. It helps calm any flaky skin.

I usually prefer lightweight formulas and mainly used moisturizers with high hydration, but mixing this product made it easier to use products that were difficult to apply in the dry winter months. It's also so gentle that I used it alone on days when my super sensitive skin was acting up.
ConsThe fragrance was the biggest disappointment. Considering this is a DIY cream meant to be mixed with other products, they probably didn't add any fragrance intentionally. However, the complete lack of scent made it feel like using an unreleased product still in the testing phase. It had a strong raw ingredient smell. Also, when used alone, it felt more rich than hydrating.
TipWhen my skin became extremely sensitive, I used this product exclusively. Since it doesn't even contain the common fragrances, I could use it with peace of mind.

I was selected as a tester and used the product for a week. To summarize briefly, although it's an unfamiliar brand, the product quality is so good that I want to try their other products too! The scent might be hit or miss, but when applied, it feels comfortable on the skin! Container: It's not a jar but a tube type, making it hygienic. Also, it's not made of aluminum, so it's convenient to use! Ingredients: Free from harmful ingredients, perfect for sensitive skin! It contains shea butter, but that's fine considering how important hydration is in this weather. Texture & Application: It looks thick, but it's not at all when you spread it! For those avoiding it thinking it might be too rich, please give it a try~ It feels similar to Doc***te regenerating cream! It looks thick but melts smoothly and feels moisturizing when applied. Effects: I had some redness and acne scars near my nose, but they've subsided. It feels like it creates a barrier to prevent moisture loss! I have dry skin, so I applied it as the last step and reapplied when I felt dry. Recommended Skin Types: Highly recommended for dry and combination skin! Even those with oily skin might benefit from a thin layer during this dry season! Surprisingly, it doesn't cause blemishes!
ConsScent: The most disappointing aspect was the scent... It smells like herbs but also like incense used in ancestral rites... The fragrance really wasn't to my liking, but it seems to dissipate quickly!

Photo order: Box exterior - Product - Product back with instructions - Cream dispensed - Before absorption - After absorption Used from November 7th to 14th. First 4 days: cleanse - toner - existing serum + cream. Next 4 days: cleanse - toner - serum - cream - emulsion (later switched to serum + cream - emulsion). Form: Hygienic tube packaging. Texture: Smooth white cream. Scent: Unscented, no strong fragrance. Oil content: Generally low, but slower absorption if applied heavily. Moisture: Less hydrating than expected. Recommend mixing with a serum. Initial 4-day impression: Light, comfortable, and locks in moisture. Simplified my usual 6-step routine to just mixing this cream with various serums (3 different ones tested). Absorbed quickly (I use small amounts) and formed a protective layer to prevent moisture loss. Sufficient overnight, but slightly lacking after morning cleanse. Next 4 days: Added separate serum and emulsion steps. More hassle but better moisture retention and easier emulsion application. Eventually settled on serum + cream followed by emulsion for ease and added hydration. Final thoughts: No blemishes occurred during use, which was satisfying. As someone who dislikes heavy, greasy creams, I appreciated its lightweight feel and quick absorption. The unscented base allows the fragrance of mixed serums to come through. Large quantity will last a long time. Clean ingredients provide peace of mind. Recommended for those with similar skin types seeking a light, customizable cream.
ConsDrawbacks include difficulty blending with serums, requiring mixing on hands before application, which isn't ideal for hygiene. The cream alone can feel heavy. It appears overly moisturizing when applied but easily rubs off, which is problematic. There's a slight oiliness when used alone, so I always mixed it with serum. Despite being marketed as deeply hydrating, the moisturizing effect isn't particularly notable. It prevents overnight dryness but doesn't maintain hydration until midday when applied in the morning. The hydration level is comparable to average creams, with the main advantage being its mixability with serums. While the tube is hygienic, it's challenging to control the amount dispensed. Sometimes the cream retracts back into the tube when set down, which is concerning.
TipMixing with your own serums allows for a personalized DIY cream. The product helps lock in serums and moisture, reducing the feeling of product evaporation after application. Though not exceptionally hydrating on its own, it maintains a moisturized feel when applied to hands. On particularly dry days, mixing it with Vaseline created a long-lasting moisturizing effect that was very satisfying.

My skin type is dry, so I prioritize hydration. ★ Packaging I appreciated the hygienic tube packaging, which allows for easy application without a spatula. The lightweight tube is perfect for on-the-go touch-ups. ★ Ingredients As someone who values moisturizing ingredients, I was thrilled to see shea butter in the formula. The gentle composition lived up to my expectations, feeling light and mild on the skin. ★ Application Initially, I thought it might be similar to a cica balm, but it's actually much lighter. It absorbs well and has a lovely texture that's perfect for those who dislike heavy creams on their skin. ★ Scent The fragrance seems to be a matter of personal preference. Personally, I love it - it reminds me of nature with a hint of herbal notes. I enjoy the scent every time I apply it. ★ Effectiveness and Overall Experience From day one, I was impressed by how light yet moisturizing this cream feels. It's so gentle and absorbs well that I found myself reapplying whenever my skin felt dry. The non-greasy, lightweight formula can be both a pro and a con. For colder days, I mixed it with a facial oil, which worked wonders for my very dry skin! I plan to continue using this product and will likely repurchase if it continues to impress me.
Cons★ Finish While I love how lightly it applies, my dry skin needs a bit more richness, which I found slightly lacking. As a fan of shea butter products, I expected this to provide intense hydration. While it fell a bit short in that regard, I was still generally satisfied. However, this could be the perfect product for those with oily skin. For dry skin types like mine, mixing it with a facial oil can easily overcome this minor drawback, turning a potential con into a pro.
TipFor dry skin, mixing this cream with a facial oil is a game-changer - it works wonders for extremely dry skin like mine!

Reviews by The Hwahae Testers undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.Pros✔️This is a review from The Hwahae Testers✔️ First off, my skin type is combination dehydrated, oily, and acne-prone. When I first received the product, it seemed more rich than I expected. I was really worried that if I applied it incorrectly, my skin might react badly. After using the product for about a week, I didn't experience any breakouts! Instead, I realized that even acne-prone skin can feel comfortable and not tight with the right amount of oil. My skin tends to react easily, but this product didn't cause any reactions, so it seems to be gentle. ✔️Texture: It has a slightly thick consistency! I usually use lightweight, hydrating formulas, so I might feel it's thicker compared to others! This product seems to have more oil than hydration! It's right between an emulsion and a cream in texture!!!! ✔️Absorption: Since I'm used to applying mostly hydrating products, I was worried about using this before makeup. But when I tried it for the review, it was better than expected!! There was no pilling at all, and I even thought it might be better to use it during dry weather. ✔️Moisturizing power: If you apply it at night, you can wake up to skin without any deep dryness! But it definitely feels like it moisturizes more with oil than water. ✔️Product recommendation: For dry skin types, and oily skin types experiencing tightness in winter.
ConsThe scent is really unpleasant... At first, I was worried about blemishes due to the product's texture, but the scent is so off-putting that it wouldn't be surprising if my skin reacted badly. However, it's just the scent that's like that, and it seems to be a gentle product that doesn't actually cause reactions. While using this product didn't make my skin worse, it also doesn't seem to have improved it much - it's just an average product.
TipI use Dr.G's moisturizer to hydrate my skin and then apply this product on top to seal in the moisture with its oil content!

I was pleasantly surprised by how gentle it felt. It's so hydrating that you could get away with just using this cream alone! As someone with sensitive skin, I usually avoid products without reviews, but this one is so mild that even I can use it without issues. I only applied this at night and didn't experience any discomfort. In fact, the more I used it, the more I felt like my blemishes were actually calming down! My cheeks are dry, but my nose area is extremely oily. Usually, rich products make my nose area explode with oil, but with this one, I can barely notice any excess oil.
ConsI personally prefer products with a slight fragrance, but this seems to be unscented. If I had to describe the scent, it's reminiscent of hair dye, unfortunately. Also, I really dislike when products leave an oily residue on my hands after application, and this one does leave a slightly greasy feeling.
TipThey mentioned it works well with other serums, so I highly recommend trying it in combination with your favorite serum!
