I've been using this consistently. It seems to really help with deep dryness. The downside is that it's a bit sticky, which makes it somewhat difficult to apply. - tm*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresAug 4, 2022
The serum has a thicker consistency, which helps lock in moisture. It's a nourishing formula that delivers a boost of hydration. I bought this expecting it to soothe my skin, but unfortunately, I didn't notice any calming effects. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinNov 18, 2021
First off, it's such a beautiful serum! I wonder if there's anything prettier than Serum Kind in Korea. As someone with dry skin, I really appreciated its nourishing qualities! While it feels nourishing, I started to think that maybe it's because it doesn't absorb well and just sits on the skin. If you prefer products that don't leave residue, I wouldn't recommend this. It seems you need to take a bit more time to let it absorb properly! - vt******Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityAug 17, 2021
For a serum, it's surprisingly rich in texture. At first application, I thought it might not absorb well due to its thickness, but after using it for a few days, I realized it actually absorbs quite nicely. It's great for calming the skin, provides excellent hydration, and leaves a beautiful glow as if it's coating the skin. Because it doesn't spread easily, you tend to use more product than usual. It's a bit too heavy for summer use, making it more suitable for fall and winter seasons. - jj*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 20, 2021
Since Serumkind is a brand specializing in serums, I feel like I can really trust the quality of their products. The Purple Cabbage Drop is said to help soothe the skin, while also providing hydration and anti-inflammatory care. It seems suitable for use when your skin isn't at its best, and it's likely a good serum for super sensitive skin. The formula isn't sticky and absorbs well into the skin. Instead of purified water, it contains a high concentration of Jeju red cabbage extract, and beta-glucan is said to help with anti-inflammatory, soothing, and moisturizing care. The purple color comes from the natural hue of the red cabbage ingredient, not artificial coloring, which is reassuring. I also love that it's a vegan brand! The price point is a bit high, which is disappointing. It might be a little burdensome for repurchasing. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedNov 3, 2020
First off, the packaging and formula are absolutely gorgeous. Each serum is unique - some are unscented while others have fragrances. The Purple Cabbage Drop has a delightful scent. It's not as runny as I expected, with a viscous texture that feels highly concentrated! The price is a bit steep... 40,000 won for 30ml It's slightly sticky, so I recommend using it for night care rather than in the morning routine. - mi********Combination SkinSensitive SkinOct 8, 2020
This serum is so rich that using it alone is often enough. It doesn't leave your skin feeling tight, and those with very dry skin will likely appreciate its deeply nourishing finish. If you're looking to streamline your skincare routine, I highly recommend this product! The heaviness of this serum might be its main drawback. I used the mini version from a 5-piece sampler set during summer, and the sticky texture was really challenging to deal with. I had to stop using it after a few tries. Recently, I gave it another shot as the weather got cooler, and it felt a bit better than in summer. However, it still falls on the stickier side, so I probably won't continue using it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 24, 2020
This serum seems perfect for dry skin or fall/winter use. It's a one-step solution that deeply hydrates and feels like it creates a protective oil barrier on the skin's surface! ✔️The product packaging, branding, and presentation are incredibly well-thought-out. Everything from the box to the packaging materials and even the enclosed leaflet was absolutely lovely 💜 ✔️Scent: It's hard to describe, but it has a luxurious and fresh fragrance that lifts your mood when you apply it ✔️Texture & Feel: The serum has a rich, oily consistency. It glides on smoothly due to its oily nature. You might think it would leave residue and feel sticky, but it absorbs surprisingly well and leaves a refreshing finish. That's why I found it even more satisfying after application! However, those with very oily skin might want to avoid it, and it might be a bit much if you apply a cream on top. It's more suitable for fall and winter than summer. ✔️Soothing effect: While I'd need to use it longer to be certain, after about a week of use, it felt gentle with no irritation and seemed to calm my troubled skin. I'd love to continue using this product for a longer period! ✔️Dropper bottle: I'm not sure if it's just my product, but I found the dropper inconvenient as it doesn't dispense enough serum unless you press it firmly - br********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 14, 2020
SERUMKIND A soothing serum containing red cabbage extract and beta-glucan This is a vegan cosmetic product Cruelty-free No animal-derived ingredients Paraben-free Eco-friendly packaging No artificial colorants Silicone-free I really want to cherish and apply this environmentally friendly serum that's so gentle on both the skin and conscience. Thank you, SERUMKIND @serumkind Although the formula is thin, it has a strong viscosity. I was worried it might be too heavy for my skin... and indeed, it turns out to be a bit heavier serum than I expected. I recommend applying it in thin layers. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedMar 3, 2020Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

The texture is a bit thick, but it applies moisturizing without feeling overly greasy. The consistency isn't thin, so it feels like you're using it up quickly. Also, occasionally the dropper has trouble picking up the product.
