It's gentle with moderate to high cleansing effectiveness. Great for travel when you can't rinse with water - just cleanse and you're done. It leaves skin feeling quite hydrated. This brand pairs wonderfully with their cotton pads. I have sensitive skin, so I usually put cleansing waters in a foam dispenser, but these cotton pads are so gentle when soaked that I can use them directly sometimes. They really do 'slide' across your face as the name suggests. Still, I default to using it in a foam dispenser, which works well even without cotton pads. You don't need to use their specific container either - I use one I bought from Olive Young.
ConsIt stings like crazy if it gets in your eyes, and it's quite pricey. It's famous for its cleansing power, but is it really that good? It doesn't feel like it's thoroughly removing sebum - the experience is more gentle and mild. I've seen people say it reduced their redness, but that wasn't the case for me. I guess results vary, but for me it's just an okay cleansing water...
TipI asked if it's suitable for sensitive skin due to the exfoliating ingredients, and they said the amount is so minimal that it shouldn't be an issue. If you're using it with a foam dispenser, they recommend cleansing twice - so wipe your face two times in total. Use as needed while checking for any residue on your skin.

There's a bit of eye sensitivity though.
ConsThere's some eye sensitivity, but you seem to get used to it as you continue using it.

While there's a slight eye irritation, it's a cleansing water that more than makes up for it. Even with my combination dehydrated skin prone to deep dryness, removing makeup with this alone doesn't dry me out at all. Instead, it leaves my skin feeling supple.
ConsThe eye irritation! And I can't help but think it might be a bit pricey...

Allergic to: birch, mugwort, chamomile, dandelion, onion, celery, apple, chrysanthemum, elm, etc. (There's more, but I've only listed common cosmetic ingredients.) - If you're getting skin irritations despite using products with good ingredients, get an allergy test! I saw a huge improvement after changing my skincare based on my test results. Ingredients that don't work for me: aloe, stearic acid <Product Review> I stumbled upon this product on Instagram and decided to give it a try. It's been a game-changer! I was skeptical about using it as a one-step cleanser, even on days with makeup, but it removes everything without leaving residue. I can feel my skin barrier improving. For those like me with a compromised skin barrier, over-cleansing can actually trigger blemishes and irritation. If you have sensitive skin, skip the cotton pads and use this with a foam maker instead! It removes makeup gently and effectively. The included cotton pads made my skin red and tingly. Using this product every night has made a huge difference. It's become a staple in my routine!
ConsIt stings so much if it gets in your eyes! Other than that, I'm really satisfied with everything else.
TipAfter struggling with allergies and skin irritation, here are some products I've found that work for me. (Of course, everyone's skin is different, so I recommend getting an allergy test and finding ingredients that work for you!) Cleansers: Hiya Cleansing Water (most effective for me), Sidmool Cleansing Milk, B.plane Mung Bean Cleansing Foam, Bellprimo Cleansing Gel - I rotate between these four depending on my skin's condition and needs! Plus Synth-ru Sulfur Cleansing Powder Toner: None - I haven't found a toner that works for me. They always make me itchy and cause irritation, so I skip this step. Creams: The Haruharu Cicaide Cream (amazing for contact dermatitis), Dr. Troub Zinc Cream (works wonders with Elidel, mentioned below) Ointment: Nacis Centella Scar Ointment (didn't see results until I started applying it as the first step after cleansing. Great for folliculitis and redness. It's fantastic!) Spot Treatment: Tea Tree Oil (only for occasional inflamed blemishes) Pharmacy Products: Elidel (prescription required), Azelaic Acid (I don't use it daily, but when I feel a breakout coming, I apply a thin layer as the last step of my skincare routine before bed, and it calms things down), Tea Tree Fucidin (helps heal popped blemishes faster) Routine: I alternate every other day between Cicaide Cream + Elidel + Zinc Cream (thin layers) and Nacis Ointment + Cicaide Cream. This alternating method has been the most effective for me!

The texture feels light on the skin.
ConsIt causes eye irritation. Even without direct contact, if it flows near the eye area, it stings.

Just by switching to this cleansing water, I could feel my skin texture becoming smoother and more hydrated.
ConsIt stings a lot if it gets in your eyes. I wish the quantity was a bit more generous.
TipFor best results, first use a soft, slightly thicker cotton pad soaked with the product to cleanse, then follow up with a thinner cotton pad less saturated to remove any residue. This method allows for a thorough yet gentle cleanse that minimizes irritation.

First off, it's incredibly hydrating. I can just swipe this on and go to bed without feeling dry at all. It's also a game-changer for those nights when you're too lazy to wash your face. While it might struggle a bit with mascara or detailed eye makeup, it effortlessly removes other face makeup (with two cotton pads).
ConsIt stings if it gets in your eyes! It can't really replace a dedicated eye makeup remover.
TipI highly recommend using this with cotton pads for the best results.

I'm on my 7th or 8th bottle and I just can't break away from it. Personally, I use it before showering - I wipe my face with it, don't rinse, then shower and wash it off after. It leaves my skin incredibly hydrated and, interestingly, it has a soothing effect too. As for cleansing effectiveness, it seems to remove everything except waterproof mascara and intense eyeliner.
ConsBe very, very careful when removing eye makeup - if it gets in your eyes, it stings terribly!
TipPro tip: Apply before showering, don't rinse, and let it work its magic while you shower!

These days I don't wear much eye makeup, just some shadow on my brows, and it cleans that off perfectly. (Just be careful not to get it in your eyes though!)
ConsAfter using this, I developed some redness under my eyes, not quite blemishes but something. I've heard it can sting if it gets in your eyes, so I tried to be gentle, but I think a tiny bit got in. My eyes became so irritated and turned bright red... I've only been using it for a few days, but I'm going to keep trying. The scent is quite bitter though.
