I tried this cleanser because Innisfree products are known for being gentle. It has an emulsion formula with small particles, so make sure to roll it between your palms before washing to minimize skin irritation. It produces a moderate amount of foam and cleanses gently, leaving my skin feeling less dry. On its own, the cleansing effectiveness isn't exceptional. It feels like there's some residue left, so I use it together with a cleansing oil. For best results, use a cleansing oil to thoroughly dissolve makeup before washing with this cleanser. - ek*******Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 23, 2021
I bought the Innisfree Perfect Sea Salt Cleanser during their 1+1 promotion! Innisfree often has these deals, so it's a good time to stock up. My skin is combination dehydrated with blemishes and excess oil - pretty much the worst-case scenario. I was looking for a foam cleanser that could manage my oily skin while still cleansing effectively, and the staff recommended this one. 1. Cleansing effectiveness: While it might not be enough for heavy makeup, it works great on days when I've only worn sunscreen. Of course, results may vary. 2. Texture: All the Sea Salt line cleansers contain salt granules! The Perfect version has the most, while the Jelly has the least. Just dissolve the granules with water as you massage your face. 3. Review: While it didn't have a dramatic effect on my blemishes or oily skin, the staff mentioned it's the most low-pH option in the Sea Salt line. For a low-pH cleanser, it leaves my skin feeling adequately cleansed, which I like! It has less of that jelly-like, slippery feeling typical of low-pH cleansers, which I found satisfying. There wasn't anything particularly bad about it, but it also didn't have a significant impact. I probably wouldn't buy it when it's not on sale. I recommend working up a rich lather in your hands before applying it to your face. Also, make sure to dissolve the salt granules well. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 13, 2021
Seems to work well for skin with small bumps. The cleansing effectiveness is decent. However, the granules are a bit too abrasive. I'm hesitant about continued use. Consider buying during Innisfree's buy-one-get-one-free promotion. As of February 13, 2021, the promotion is ongoing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 29, 2020
Blemishes disappear well and there's no lingering aftermath, which is great! It's a bit disappointing that it doesn't lather well, but overall it's still a good product! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 27, 2020
While its cleansing effectiveness isn't particularly strong, I think it does a decent job of maintaining skin hydration. There's a slightly slippery feeling after cleansing, but I believe this is intentional to help maintain moisture in the skin. - 40*****Oily SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedOct 29, 2020
For exfoliation, I use a gentle foam cleanser once, then follow up with the sea salt scrub. It leaves my skin feeling refreshed. I'm really satisfied! I avoid using it on days when my skin feels a bit sensitive, as the granules might be too harsh. Remember to massage gently when cleansing. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinOct 8, 2020
I've been using this as my morning cleanser since I heard it's good for blemishes, and I like that it doesn't seem to irritate my skin. It lathers up nicely, which is great. I was told it's good for blemishes, but I didn't really see any effects. So I've switched to the Perfect version and I'm using it both morning and night now. - hy********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 25, 2020
This is the most satisfying cleanser I've ever used. I think I'll be using it for life! The cleansing effectiveness is great, and the granules make me feel like I'm really getting a thorough clean. What's more, my skin doesn't feel overly dry after washing, which I absolutely love! I honestly can't think of any real downsides. Perhaps the only thing is that I wouldn't strongly recommend it to those looking for that super squeaky-clean feeling after cleansing. - 23*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedAug 19, 2020
I bought this during a 1+1 store promotion. So it's 10000 won for 2, which means 5000 won each! With 130ml per bottle, that's 260ml total - not bad at all. I liked that the formulas are tailored for different skin types, and even the salt granule sizes are varied. I usually avoid products with citric acid as they make my skin itchy and inflamed, so I chose this one instead. The scent is noticeably emulsion-like. Before using it on my face, I tried washing my hands with the product. I thought the salt granules might be divisive, and looking at the reviews, I was right. Even though it's the smallest type, it might feel quite harsh. If it felt quite abrasive just washing my hands, I can imagine how it might feel on the face. Also, it's quite drying. My hands felt parched right after washing... If you find the salt granules too abrasive, try dissolving them slightly before use. Also, to reduce the feeling of dryness, skip towel-drying your face after cleansing and move straight to your skincare routine. - tj**********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAug 11, 2020
I tried this because I heard it's good for folliculitis, and it's not bad at all. I think I'll need to keep using it consistently to see better results. It's quite irritating on the skin. Maybe because of the salt content? It might be better to dissolve it completely and gently massage it in with your hands when using.
