For those with severe pore issues, this is for pore coverage before makeup, absolutely not for oil control! Not recommended for combination dehydrated, dry, or combination skin types in general. If you're looking for a product that controls oil, covers pores, and improves makeup longevity, I highly recommend checking out my review on powder primers! For those who need pore coverage but find Benefit's product unsuitable or too drying, the Vanilla Co. product is much less irritating and not as matte.

While it's effective for pore coverage, it actually damages the skin... Pores become more enlarged, and it doesn't control oiliness. Only recommended for those with extremely large pores...

It's packed with hydration. It's so creamy and moisturizing that it could easily pass for a hydrating cream. There was no issue with it settling into pores. While it might not fully align with the core purpose of a primer, it seemed to have a smoothing effect on flaky skin. I'd recommend this to those who struggle to use primers in winter due to dryness.
