For those with severe pore issues, this is for pore coverage before makeup, absolutely not for oil control! Not recommended for combination dehydrated, dry, or combination skin types in general. If you're looking for a product that controls oil, covers pores, and improves makeup longevity, I highly recommend checking out my review on powder primers! For those who need pore coverage but find Benefit's product unsuitable or too drying, the Vanilla Co. product is much less irritating and not as matte.

While it's effective for pore coverage, it actually damages the skin... Pores become more enlarged, and it doesn't control oiliness. Only recommended for those with extremely large pores...

It effectively fills in fine lines and pores. I bought it after hearing it's better for combination dehydrated skin, but it turned out to be quite matte... I have combination skin with both oily and dry areas. Applying this all over my face felt heavy and suffocating, especially when it came time to remove it - it was a real struggle! I'm usually meticulous about cleansing, but even double cleansing with a foam cleanser wasn't enough. I had to use an exfoliating cream twice, followed by another round with the foam cleanser to finally get it all off. If you don't have a robust cleansing routine ready to go, I really wouldn't recommend using this product.

On those days when your skin looks less than stellar due to your menstrual cycle, but you absolutely need to wear makeup, this product is a lifesaver for achieving a flawless complexion. The cushion applies smoothly and evenly, with impressive staying power. Even though I have quite oily skin, it did a great job controlling excess shine!
