The color is truly radiant and a beautiful pink-beige. I think this brand really nails the shades better than any other drugstore brand. I've never seen a foundation break down so terribly. It also felt extremely dry from the moment I applied it, causing it to look patchy all over. I've heard the renewed version is better, but this product was really disappointing. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinMay 20, 2020
I must have bought about 5 or 6 tubes of this. The coverage and staying power are excellent. It also does a decent job of concealing pores. It's not great for touch-ups, perhaps because it sets so quickly. After a long time, it doesn't break down very gracefully. However, it's still good value for money. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 30, 2020
The color is absolutely gorgeous! The coverage is even better than Estée Lauder, and it leaves your skin feeling soft and matte. If you don't have much texture, it creates a beautiful skin finish. Wow, the breakdown is on another level. It clumps together, severely emphasizing dead skin cells and pores. I couldn't use it on its own. - Hwahae UserDry SkinMar 30, 2020
It brightens my complexion and keeps my skin clear. I've already gone through 7 bottles! It breaks down easily and doesn't make my skin look its best, unfortunately. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 15, 2020
It finishes with a soft, matte feel that's perfect for summer foundation! The slightly fluid texture applies smoothly and evenly. There's a wide range of shades available, so you can easily find one that matches your complexion. Unfortunately, the coverage is a bit lacking. After some time, it tends to break down in oily areas. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJan 22, 2020
Coverage: 3/5 It can cover redness and small blemishes, but doesn't completely conceal acne. Application: 3/5 When applied with a sponge, it goes on smoothly and evenly. Longevity: 4/5 It seems to last quite well. I usually apply it in the morning and only need to touch up once or twice by evening. The adherence to the skin could be better, and it doesn't look pretty when the makeup breaks down. Other than that, I don't really have any complaints! If you want a more hydrating effect, I recommend using a slightly damp sponge. Just keep in mind that this might slightly reduce the coverage. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJan 20, 2020
A foundation with consistent performance. As someone with combination skin, I found it to be the most reliable regardless of my skin condition. It's a product that guarantees steady results without major fluctuations, making it my go-to for daily use. Great coverage! The color is beautiful too. While it might not suit those with very fair skin, it's perfect for me (I'm between shades 13-17). The shade is spot-on - not too bright or muted, just like my natural skin tone. Even when it wears off, it blends well with oils and fades gracefully. It tends to settle into nose creases as it wears off. While it doesn't clog pores or cause other issues, it does tend to settle into wrinkles and fine lines. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJan 16, 2020
I tried a sample before purchasing: - Variety of shades Great that you can choose one to match your complexion I usually use 13 or light 21, and this wasn't bad at all! The color was more natural than radiant - Excellent adherence It adhered so well immediately that I couldn't apply it with my fingers, had to use a sponge Using a sponge also improved its staying power A lot remained even after cleansing with just foam cleanser Need to wash thoroughly! - So-so coverage Having used Clio before, the coverage was below expectations - Brush × When applied with a brush, it broke down very quickly Recommend using a sponge instead - Applies thicker than expected It's important to control the amount and apply thinly - Caking Despite thorough skincare, it caked a bit in winter Not really recommended for dry skin - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinNov 19, 2019
Out of all the foundations and cushions I've used, this had the most beautiful shade. For me, what matters more than coverage or longevity is the lack of darkening, the brightness of the foundation color, and how pretty the tone is - and the Double Lasting ticked both boxes. It's slightly brighter and more pink-toned than The Face Shop's Ink Lasting in shade 103. It's a light ivory that's perfect for those who find typical 21 shades a bit lacking. The texture is neither too runny nor too thick - just right. Despite its name 'Double Lasting', it doesn't set instantly or feel super matte upon application. Instead, it's comfortably powdery and spreads well. Comparing its coverage to other foundations I've tried, I'd say it's medium to medium-high. It doesn't break down unattractively over time, and there's no noticeable fading or transfer. While there is some darkening, it's not severe. Overall, it's a reliable product that I reach for when I'm unsure what to apply in the morning. Usually, I feel like most foundations are quite similar, so I try different ones after finishing one. But with this, I actually repurchased it. When it was almost empty and wouldn't pump anymore, I felt genuinely upset! Anyway, if you're looking for a foundation in this price range, I highly recommend the Double Lasting. It gets oily and breaks down quickly on areas with more sebum, like the nose. Is this the case with all foundations? I found that applying it with a beauty blender worked best. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinNov 18, 2019
This foundation is often called the affordable version of Double Wear, right? I've actually tried Double Wear before, but whether it was the wrong shade or something else, it looked subtly dull and seemed to darken over time. I didn't experience that with the Etude one. Since my skin is quite oily, I deliberately chose a matte foundation, and it definitely keeps the shine at bay, which I love. It gives a matte, velvety finish. After testing it on my hand and face in-store, I thought it would match my complexion well, and I've been using it without any issues. The staying power is decent too. It has a typical cosmetic scent - those who dislike artificial fragrances might not enjoy it. Personally, I love sweet scents like Baby Amul and artificial fragrances, so I didn't mind the smell at all. The pump packaging is also clean and convenient to use. The coverage isn't that great - it doesn't cover red blemishes or small bumps. So you need to apply concealer separately, but mixing concealer with the matte foundation over blemish marks can make the skin look a bit messy, which is disappointing. If you have very oily skin, you might need to use a setting spray, powder, or blotting papers frequently after applying this. Also, it probably won't suit those with very dry skin. If you have dry skin and use this, it might not give a pretty skin finish and could make your skin look cracked and flaky. Not recommended for those with dry skin. For those with oily skin! After your skincare routine, spray some Jat Insight Real Fixer and let it dry a bit. Then apply the foundation, spray again, and give it one more spritz at the end of your makeup routine. This will keep oil at bay for at least 2 hours!
