The color is truly radiant and a beautiful pink-beige. I think this brand really nails the shades better than any other drugstore brand. I've never seen a foundation break down so terribly. It also felt extremely dry from the moment I applied it, causing it to look patchy all over. I've heard the renewed version is better, but this product was really disappointing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 19, 2020
The color is pretty, the coverage is decent, and the price is affordable... It causes blemishes, separates and breaks down on the skin. I should have checked the ingredients earlier. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMar 24, 2020
I've been using this foundation for 3 years now. My skin tone is around shade 22, and this foundation in shade 21 is slightly lighter. The Rosy Pure color suits me well, so I'm more satisfied with this shade compared to other foundations. When applied with the Pili Mili cushion puff, it gives my skin a porcelain-like finish with excellent coverage and staying power. It didn't come off even after a 3-hour nap or when I was sweating. (Personal experience) Considering the price, the amount is generous, lasting for several months. It can be a bit drying, so it tends to sit on the skin in winter. Other than that, I don't have any complaints. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinFeb 17, 2020
Not much to praise, honestly. If I had to pick something, I guess it spread thinly and evenly when applied with a Daiso puff? First off, it severely emphasizes dead skin cells and causes makeup to separate. Worst of all, the coverage is terribly poor. I regret buying this Etude House foundation based on a friend's recommendation. You might want to go for a shade about two tones darker than your actual complexion for better coverage. Just keep in mind it will darken your overall skin tone. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJan 22, 2020
Coverage: 3/5 It can cover redness and small blemishes, but doesn't completely conceal acne. Application: 3/5 When applied with a sponge, it goes on smoothly and evenly. Longevity: 4/5 It seems to last quite well. I usually apply it in the morning and only need to touch up once or twice by evening. The adherence to the skin could be better, and it doesn't look pretty when the makeup breaks down. Other than that, I don't really have any complaints! If you want a more hydrating effect, I recommend using a slightly damp sponge. Just keep in mind that this might slightly reduce the coverage. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJan 21, 2020
Since I have a fair complexion, other shades were too dark for me, but Rosy Pure was perfect, giving a natural #17 feel. The color is radiant while still providing a natural-looking complexion I'm not sure if it's just my skin, but it doesn't adhere well and tends to rub off easily. That's why I use it with powder. When I apply powder, it actually works quite well - Hwahae UserDry SkinJan 16, 2020
I tried a sample before purchasing: - Variety of shades Great that you can choose one to match your complexion I usually use 13 or light 21, and this wasn't bad at all! The color was more natural than radiant - Excellent adherence It adhered so well immediately that I couldn't apply it with my fingers, had to use a sponge Using a sponge also improved its staying power A lot remained even after cleansing with just foam cleanser Need to wash thoroughly! - So-so coverage Having used Clio before, the coverage was below expectations - Brush × When applied with a brush, it broke down very quickly Recommend using a sponge instead - Applies thicker than expected It's important to control the amount and apply thinly - Caking Despite thorough skincare, it caked a bit in winter Not really recommended for dry skin - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinOct 25, 2019
I was always on the hunt for the perfect foundation shade, but shade 13 for cool tones turned out to be just right for me It tends to clump when it breaks down, and with my combination skin, some areas look good while others can appear patchy and uneven I've tried applying it with brushes and wedge sponges, but using an air puff gave me the best results - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 24, 2019
* Super sensitive skin As someone with extremely sensitive skin that breaks out in blemishes from even slightly incompatible emulsions, Etude seems to work exceptionally well for my skin. Not sure if it's just a good match or if the ingredients are that good, but even when my skin has flared up, using this product seems to calm it down. * Color range I usually use shade 13 since I have fair skin, but I was really impressed by the wide variety of shades available. It's great that there are multiple options even for lighter skin tones. * Design I'm on my third bottle now, and I noticed the design has changed slightly from a few years ago. If you don't manage the foundation dispensing area well, it can get a bit messy. * Texture The formula is extremely lightweight and fluid. If you pump it onto your hand and tilt it, it'll actually drip. * Quantity I think you get an incredible amount for the price! You can cover your entire face with just a tiny bit of product. * Coverage The coverage is pretty good too! To be honest, there's only one thing I found disappointing, and that's the pilling issue. It looks fine right after application, but after a few hours, my skin starts to feel dry, and the foundation begins to crack and pill. Even touching up with more product or using another cushion product doesn't fix the pilling. However, since I have combination skin rather than oily all over, I noticed the pilling only happens in the drier areas. So, I'd recommend making sure your skin is well-hydrated and moisturized before applying this foundation! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinSep 15, 2019
※ Excellent coverage While not quite as full-coverage as high-end department store brands like Es♡e La♡der, it provides substantial coverage compared to other drugstore foundations. ※ Applies thinly It feels like it goes on more thinly than other drugstore foundations. ※ Long-lasting I have a sweaty constitution and perspire easily in both summer and winter, even with light exercise or walking. Despite sweating profusely, this foundation doesn't budge, eliminating the need for touch-ups. ※ Unattractive when it wears off While its long-lasting nature is a plus, once it starts to break down and wear off, it clumps up in pores like little sebum balls. It also tends to separate easily. ※ Drying As a high-coverage product, it's understandably matte, but it might be too drying for those with dry skin. If you decide to use this product, I highly recommend a thorough moisturizing routine beforehand. When applying this foundation, I recommend using a damp beauty sponge or regular makeup puff rather than a brush!
