Scalp condition: I have mild seborrheic dermatitis, which causes redness and dead skin cells on my scalp when I'm not feeling well or when my scalp is irritated. Due to frequent dieting and worsening seborrheic dermatitis, I've experienced severe hair loss. I've previously used medicated shampoos prescribed by my doctor to manage seborrheic dermatitis, as well as a 3% minoxidil tonic. Although I still need some management for seborrheic dermatitis, it has improved to the point where I no longer use hair loss medications. I wanted to try a tonic product for maintenance, which is why I applied to be a Hwahae Tester. Usage: Since there were no specific instructions, I followed other users' reviews. I applied the product to damp hair after shampooing, massaged it in, and then dried my hair. Spray power: The bottle's spray power is excellent. When I sectioned my hair or sprayed along the parting, the strong spray reached my scalp effectively. Texture: The product has a water-like consistency and provides a cool, menthol sensation as it absorbs into the scalp. Volume effect: After drying my hair, I noticed a slight increase in volume. This is the most impressive aspect of the product in my opinion. Sebum control: It seems to help regulate scalp sebum. One night, I accidentally fell asleep without washing my hair after using the product. Even after 12 hours, my hair felt fresh and not greasy, which is unusual for me. Soothing and cooling effect: My scalp tends to become red after shampooing due to irritation. I didn't feel an immediate soothing effect from this product. While my scalp did calm down after 10 hours, it's hard to determine if this was due to the product or simply because I hadn't touched my hair. Although it contains menthol which gives a cool sensation, I didn't notice an actual change in scalp temperature. Exfoliation: I didn't feel any noticeable exfoliation. 10 hours after use, I still noticed some flakes on my scalp. When I use shampoos containing salicylic acid for exfoliation, I usually don't see flakes for several days, but with this product, flakes were still present even hours after use. Other: While there is an initial volume effect, in photos taken 10 hours later, the volume had decreased, and my scalp was visible.
