Even without using a cream, just applying this as the final step in my skincare routine keeps my dry skin from feeling tight and gives me a lovely glow. I love how gentle it is on my skin.
ConsThe amount is so tiny and cute... I'll have to use it sparingly.

I have sensitive, oily skin that occasionally develops blemishes (when I'm tired or neglecting my skincare). Texture: It's not sticky or heavy at all. How to describe it... maybe like a light, runny cooking oil? When mixed with a thick foundation, it adds just the right amount of richness while giving a subtle glow! Absorption: Perhaps because the oil is so light, it absorbed beautifully into my skin! I received my Hwahae package right before a trip to Russia and used it there. Russia being colder and drier than Korea, the oil soaked in instantly! As someone with very oily skin, this isn't common for me, but the dry climate made my foundation look patchy... However, mixing this oil with my foundation made it apply so smoothly! I was worried about photosensitivity due to the rosehip oil, but I threw caution to the wind and used it mixed with makeup even in broad daylight - no adverse reactions! I was fine, but those with more sensitive skin should take note. Back in Korea, it doesn't absorb quite as rapidly as in Russia, but still absorbs well. My mom (in her 50s) tried it too and loved how well it absorbed! With my oily skin, I use about 2-3 drops each time. Scent: I'm not a fan of noni scent, so I was concerned, but wow... what kind of flower is this? It's like a natural floral perfume! When I applied it in my room, my friends kept sniffing, asking what that fragrance was! It's a subtle, natural floral scent. For reference, I'm not particularly sensitive to fragrances, but all 5 of us (3 friends, my mom, and me) really liked this scent. Blemishes: I had a couple of blemishes before using this oil, and it didn't make them worse! It passed the patch test on my neck and inner arms, and it suits my face well too! When used with a hydrating moisturizer, it seems to balance oil and moisture well. However, in summer, I might need to reduce it to 1-2 drops as I have very oily skin. Rather than actively calming the skin, it gives a sense of improved skin health by balancing oil and moisture levels.
ConsDrawback: The price... sigh. Even though this amount would probably last two months if used once a day for night care... the price is just too high...
TipWhile I didn't experience any photosensitivity issues, those with sensitive skin should be cautious. I've heard that rosehip oil in the ingredients can cause photosensitivity... So although I mixed it with makeup and went out during the day when it was extremely dry in Russia, now that I'm back in Korea, I'm only using it for night care.

Absorption power: It doesn't feel greasy, so it seems to sink into the skin quickly without sitting on top. It feels like a slightly rich toner? As shown in the after photo, it leaves a subtle glow without being too shiny. Due to its quick absorption and low oiliness, it might be better suited for daytime use or before makeup rather than before bed. Scent: It's hard to describe, but it has a fresh, herbal scent. It's not bitter, but rather refreshing and pleasant. Recommended skin type: I have normal to dry skin, leaning towards normal. In winter, my skin tends to be dry, and this felt slightly insufficient. So, it might be best for those with normal skin that isn't too dry.
ConsHydration: Given its light texture, it's not extremely hydrating. In winter, using this alone at night might not be enough, so pairing it with a rich, nourishing cream would be ideal. However, its non-greasy formula makes it suitable for use in other seasons as well. Not recommended for: Those with extremely dry skin expecting intense hydration might be disappointed, especially during dry winter weather. Price and quantity: While it's generally a decent product without major pros or cons and easy to use, if I had to point out a drawback, it would be the price. At 75,000 won for 30ml, it might be a bit expensive for some.
TipThe texture wasn't as rich as I expected. It's a dropper-type ampoule, but as you can see in the photo, it doesn't drip heavily like an oil when applied to the face. Instead, it flows almost like water. Rather than applying it directly to your face as you might with other dropper ampoules, it's better to follow the instructions and put a drop or two in your palm first, then spread it on your face. I recommend using this as a daily product rather than just in the evening.

ConsI'm not sure if it's worth the price, and I feel like I need to use it longer to really tell.
TipI've been mixing one to two drops with my moisturizer, and it's working quite well for me.

When used as the final step in your skincare routine, it creates a protective layer and gives a beautiful glow.
ConsThere's nothing particularly disappointing about it. It doesn't cause any blemishes, and the scent is inoffensive.

It's pleasantly refreshing, has a lovely scent, and gives my face a perfect glow. My makeup applies beautifully the next day, so I'm really enjoying it as part of my nighttime routine. I also love that all the ingredients are organic.
ConsThe price is a bit steep, and there are more potentially irritating ingredients than I expected.
TipApply before cream as part of your nighttime skincare routine.
