One-line review: A life-changing lip balm First off, I'm someone who's generally unsatisfied with the hydration of stick lip balms. Just for reference, I only approve of Dior's stick balms and find the rest disappointing. Because of this, I've only been using lip oils, lip masks, and Vaseline. But this tube-type lip balm is truly a game-changer in terms of value for money... It nails everything - hydration, dead skin cell removal, lasting moisture, affordability, and scent. It makes me think this might be what a masterpiece in lip balms looks like. When on sale, it's around $5, and being in a tube, it's hygienic to use. The lemon scent is lovely, the hydration is top-notch, and it's not sticky at all... It's simply the best. That's all. There's really nothing bad to say, but if I absolutely had to nitpick, when I apply it inside my mask and wear it for a long time, the scent lingers. Since I get severe motion sickness, if I ride in a car in that state, I feel slightly queasy. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSep 15, 2022
I always use lip balm because my lips tend to chap easily. This one has a slightly sticky texture and provides excellent hydration. I used to use another product with a vanilla scent, but it was too strong when wearing a mask (very uncomfortable), so I only used it at home. This product, however, has no noticeable scent, so I can carry it around and use it anywhere. I also like that it's colorless. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it, but since I'm not wearing lipstick these days, I'm not sure how it would work in combination with lipstick. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSep 5, 2022
It's so moisturizing and really helps when your lips are painfully chapped! On days when my lips hurt, applying this made them feel better. I also use their night lip balm from the same line, which comes in a cylindrical container, before bed. The Aritaum ginger sugar line seems to be really effective for lip hydration. It can be a bit annoying when air gets into the tube, making it difficult to squeeze out the product. I've tried the stick version too, but this tube is more effective, so I'm sticking with it. One downside though - it's a bit troublesome when your hair sticks to your lips after application. Apply refreshingly before bed or after a shower for best results. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 29, 2022
I bought this because my lips were extremely dry, and it's absolutely fantastic! It moisturizes so well and I love it. It feels a bit too sticky for my liking. It's also quite shimmery, so I'm hesitant to wear it when I go out. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinDec 15, 2021
I think this product might be quite polarizing, but I absolutely love it! When you apply it, it quickly gets rid of dead skin cells and provides excellent hydration! At first, it might be uncomfortable to use because it's so sticky that people who dislike this texture won't enjoy it. However, the stickiness is matched by its incredible moisturizing power! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinOct 26, 2021
Some people say it's too sticky, but as someone with desert-dry lips that absolutely can't be moisturized by stick balms, I find this product to be the most hydrating among tube-type lip balms. I've been using it exclusively for years. It's especially irreplaceable in winter. Compared to its beastly volume, the container's durability is weak. Without fail, before I can finish the product, the tube tears and develops holes, forcing me to throw away both my bag and the product... - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinOct 22, 2021
I've finally found my holy grail lip balm! My lips are extremely dry, so I've always preferred heavier formulas over lightweight ones. I used to swear by the Ginger Sugar Lip Mask, but applying it with my fingers was inconvenient. This product addresses that issue perfectly, and I'm absolutely thrilled with it. Here's why I love it: • Apply it before bed, and wake up to perfectly moisturized lips without any dead skin cells • It's not too heavy, making it suitable for daily use • The tube packaging ensures hygienic application I was initially worried the tube might burst from the back with use, but it's held up perfectly even after finishing the entire product - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinMay 3, 2021
First, let me describe my skin type. I'm a man in my late 20s with combination dehydrated skin. I hardly have any blemishes, just some remaining pigmentation. For my skincare routine, I apply toner or pads, serum, and moisturizer both morning and evening, and occasionally use oil for sebum control. I'm someone who can't live without a thick lip balm due to excessive dead skin cells on my lips. I've tried pretty much every thick lip balm out there, and this one takes the cake for hydration. Pros: 1. Great value when bought during Aritaum's 1+1 sale. 2. It's incredibly effective at softening dead skin cells. If you apply it thickly before bed, your lips will look revived by morning! 3. Even a small amount provides long-lasting hydration. To be honest, I don't have any complaints, but others might find it too rich...? Since I was specifically looking for a sleeping pack, it doesn't bother me, but it's probably a no-go for those wanting something to wear during the day. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinFeb 13, 2021
The texture is so rich and moisturizing that when I apply it before bed, all the dead skin cells plump up and fall off by the next morning. When I had nose surgery and had to breathe through my mouth for three days due to cotton packing, my lips became extremely dry. This lip balm was far more hydrating and effective than others I've tried. While other products dry out and cause lip flaking, this one seems to have incredible moisturizing power. The formula feels slightly heavy, but if you apply just the right amount, it's comfortably hydrating and works well enough. If you apply it before going to sleep, you'll wake up with truly moisturized lips. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinDec 16, 2020
I use this every time my lips feel extremely dry before bed. It stays on until morning. I love how moisturizing it is. It's too sticky, so I only apply it before sleeping. While it keeps my lips hydrated until morning, it doesn't seem to absorb much. It feels like it's just sitting on my lips.
