I loved how it wasn't rich at all and had a soothing gel-like texture, which seems perfect for oily skin types

Pros
The initial application feels great! It glides on smoothly and leaves the skin feeling hydrated. The texture is like a refreshing jelly.
Cons
As soon as I applied it, my skin started burning and itching like crazy. I saw reviews mentioning itchiness, and now I can confirm it's definitely because of this product. The stinging sensation is intense, and I don't think I've used anything else that could cause this reaction.

Pros
The texture is non-sticky and absorbs quickly. I also appreciated that it's fragrance-free.
Cons
I've been using their soothing cream for years, so I had high hopes for this essence. Could it be due to the shea butter in the ingredients? As someone with combination, dehydrated, and seborrheic skin, it caused itching, red patches, and small blemishes, forcing me to stop using it. It seems unsuitable for oily skin types. I can't help but wonder how it would have performed without the shea butter in the formula.

Pros
There's an immediate soothing sensation. The pump bottle with a transparent container is convenient to use.
Cons
I have dry skin, but perhaps due to the shea butter, I'm getting so many blemishes. It's also itchy. I think my sensitive skin is reacting to it. In any case, it doesn't suit me at all. I gave it away to a friend right away.

Pros
At first, it felt light on the skin and absorbed quickly. It seemed fine when I first used it in the evening.
Cons
The next morning, after applying it and coming home, my face started to itch. After washing it off, oh boy! Tiny bumps appeared all over, and my face turned red and blotchy. Even after stopping use and returning to my usual skincare routine, my skin still feels tingly and irritated.
Tip
I wouldn't recommend buying this.

Pros
My skin has a butterfly zone with slight redness, an oily T-zone, and a dry U-zone. I bought this at Olive Young where the staff said it's an ampoule that helps calm the skin, has minimal irritation, and provides hydration. They mentioned it was developed by many doctors. I recently went to a dermatologist who told me to use products without oil. When I tested this ampoule, it wasn't sticky, and the employee said it's most popular among teenagers, so I purchased it. To be honest, I didn't notice any significant changes, but there was no irritation. I don't need major effects, just something that won't irritate my skin, so this was okay for me.
Cons
What I'm unsure about is that 1-2 minutes after applying this, I felt something itchy on my chin. It could be because I was on my period or tired, but I'm a bit suspicious. My mom said such reactions might take 1-2 days to appear, so I'm not too worried. I didn't really see any calming effects. The essence doesn't rise to the top of the dropper. Considering the price, the size is small and the effects are not particularly... It's slightly sticky.
Tip
Use this after cleansing, or it might be good to follow up with a light moisturizer after applying this.

Pros
As a Hwahae Tester, I finally got the chance to try this product, and it's a bit... ambiguous? I've been putting it off and ended up using it on the last day, haha! While I don't have particularly sensitive skin or prone to blemishes, I often experience heat in my skin due to stress-induced trapezius muscle tension and headaches. What stood out to me was how quickly it (calmed my skin) and (reduced the heat sensation). So, in urgent situations, I'd use it like a toner pack, soaking a cotton pad and applying it as a mask. It (absorbs well), making it pleasant to use. It has a light and fresh finish, but note that it's not moisturizing - it's not meant to be a hydrating product anyway, haha! I loved that the fragrance wasn't irritating! Um... and if you're someone who responds well to dermatological ingredients, this seems like a pretty good value product! The main takeaway from using this product was definitely its quick effectiveness in reducing heat sensations! Though I did have some disappointments too...
Cons
I have dry skin, so it was fine for me, but my daughter with combination skin developed blemishes on her nose and forehead. It's probably due to the shea butter ingredient. I also experienced some itching and small bumps behind my ears. Be careful if you don't get along well with <shea butter> ingredients. Also, the dropper is a bit stiff, and given that the texture is quite runny for an ampoule, it was difficult to control the amount (though this wasn't a major issue).
Tip
Well... how to put it? While it's certainly a good product with clear strengths, I couldn't feel any outstanding merit compared to other products. It's just average. I'm sorry, but I don't have any intention to repurchase as I can't find a compelling reason to do so. And again, be careful if you don't get along with shea butter ingredients!

Pros
After applying a whitening ampoule and toner, I used this product, or sometimes I used it in the order of Dokdo toner, ampoule, and then this essence. I wonder if the green bottle is the reason for its effectiveness? It absorbs quickly and feels refreshing. The packaging design is pretty, and the bottle color is a beautiful green. I have dry, itchy skin, specifically atopic dermatitis. However, I don't typically get blemishes on my face. Apart from noting that it's not a rich essence when applied, I'm not sure about its other benefits.
Cons
It stings and itches, especially on my forehead. I scratched it so much that my face became flushed, and I had redness for two days. Thinking it might be due to the whitening ampoule I was using alongside it, I tried using just the Dokdo toner and this essence without the ampoule. The redness subsided, but then my forehead started peeling with dead skin cells... After that, my entire face broke out in blotches, with my forehead being the worst. I've occasionally used Dr.G products before, and I'm currently using their sunscreen. This product just doesn't suit my skin type. Does anyone else feel it's overpriced? Overall, it was a disappointing product for various reasons.
