I thought it would be nice to apply just this lightly on its own.
ConsIt stings and feels hot. It doesn't calm my skin, and instead seems to make it more sensitive. I've tried it when my skin was in different conditions, but consistently it stings and burns. I don't know which ingredient is causing this. It has an ambiguous oiliness that makes my skin too greasy over time. It feels sticky and uncomfortable. Perhaps due to the panthenol or shea butter, it doesn't seem good for oily skin. It feels suffocating. Strangely, there's a brief alcohol scent at first that disappears over time... I don't tolerate alcohol well. It's odd because the ingredient list clearly doesn't include alcohol.
TipDon't buy it.

ConsThe dropper feels like it can't pick up the product properly... Is it because of the formula? The content doesn't come up smoothly, which is frustrating. I don't really feel like it's hydrating. While it spreads easily, the texture feels somewhat dry and sticky. It's a product that makes me wonder if it's really worth buying and using. As someone with seborrheic dermatitis, I was hoping for hydration and soothing effects, but this product doesn't deliver on that front.

It seems to be fragrance-free. No matter how many times I sniffed, I couldn't detect any scent! The ingredients are great too~ Even those with super sensitive skin should be able to use this comfortably.
ConsI was worried it might be too oily since my face tends to be quite greasy. And sure enough... When I applied it to my face, despite being a soothing essence, it felt a bit heavy? I really dislike that feeling. So honestly, if you ask me whether I'd spend my own money to buy this again, it's a No... I'm now generously applying it to my neck and arms, which are dry and often exposed to sunlight, without a second thought. Seriously, I don't think I could use this on my face during summer.
TipI often get blemishes on my neck and back, so I've been applying this to those areas after showering. To be honest, I'm not sure about the effects yet, but since things aren't getting worse, it might be worth waiting a bit longer to see results, right?

Texture - While it looks like aloe when squeezed out, it feels more watery than aloe when applied, with a slight viscosity. A little goes a long way for broad coverage. Stickiness - Being a gel, there's a very slight sticky feeling upon application, but it's not noticeable enough to be bothersome. Hydration - Upon application, it feels like it creates a protective layer on the skin, giving a sense of hydration. However, as someone with combination dehydrated skin, I found I needed to finish with a cream to prevent deep dryness. Packaging - The pump bottle with an additional cap seems excellent for hygiene. +++ Comparing before and after photos (taken just over a week apart), this product seems to have helped reduce redness and significantly improved skin texture. Recommended for: - Those with sensitive skin but no blemishes - Dry skin types without deep dryness - Anyone looking to improve skin texture
ConsThe slightly rich texture might cause congestion, leading to small bumps and pustules for those with oily, blemish-prone skin. It's probably best avoided if you have this skin type.
TipFor enhanced soothing effects, try storing this calming gel in the refrigerator and taking it out just before use.

First Impression: The small, deep green semi-transparent bottle paired beautifully with the white dropper. I loved that the translucent container allowed me to see how much product I've used. Initial Experience: The product is fragrance-free and colorless. Interestingly, there's a mechanism at the bottle's opening that holds the dropper in place. When applied to the face, it maintains its shape rather than running. It absorbs quickly, so you need to spread it fast! After absorption, it leaves an incredibly firm feeling. If you press your skin with your finger, it bounces right back. It's different from feeling sticky! Despite this, it doesn't feel lacking in hydration. It's as if the surface is tightly sealed while the moisture is locked in underneath. The finish is refreshingly light. I personally dislike products that leave an oily residue, but this one is the epitome of fresh and matte, which I absolutely love. After-Use Review: This review is based on a week of use. After just one day, the redness from a blemish on my forehead started to fade, and now it's almost gone. I also developed a pimple along my hairline during use, but after applying the product there, the redness and size reduced significantly within days. While it didn't completely disappear, I saw quite impressive results. Pro Tip: To get more product in the dropper, press it firmly, wait until you see air bubbles rising in the bottle, then release. This way, you'll get a larger amount for easier application.
Cons1. Dropper The dropper was a bit frustrating to use. Even when pumping, it was difficult to draw up the product, which made application a bit tedious. It might be due to the firm texture of the product, but improving the dropper would make this even better. 2. Price Compared to other ampoules, it seems relatively expensive.
TipHere's a tip for getting more product in the dropper: press it firmly, wait until you see air bubbles rising in the bottle, then release. This way, you'll get a larger amount for easier application. I used it for a full two weeks to really see its effects. My skin is generally dry, with a sensitive T-zone and mouth area. I also have some redness on my cheeks and often get blemishes around my mouth. ✔️Packaging I expected a glass bottle since it's an essence, but it came in a lightweight plastic container. What impressed me was the Braille on the box for visually impaired users. ✔️Texture It's somewhere between a runny serum and a soothing gel - that perfect in-between texture just before it 'melts'. It's not sticky, but it doesn't run like water either. ✔️Application It applies smoothly but doesn't absorb immediately, so it's nice to massage it into your face. This might be a hit or miss for some, as it's not very thick. It's likely to appeal to those who prefer lighter skincare products. ✔️For dry skin in winter or seasonal changes, it's not enough on its own - you'll definitely want to follow up with a cream. I found it worked best when applied generously in the evening. The oil and moisture balance is just right, preventing that dry, tight feeling in the morning. ✔️Results As you can see in the photos, it helped calm the blemishes around my mouth. It's quite effective at reducing redness. ✔️Overall I'd say it's a decent product. While the effects aren't immediate, it could be a good choice if you're looking for a gentle product that won't irritate your skin.
ConsThe dropper was frustrating to use throughout. I wanted to draw up enough essence to distribute small drops all over my face, but it only dispensed tiny amounts at a time. Also, it feels a bit on the pricey side.
TipWhile it's good on its own, I found it works great as a secret weapon when mixed with matte foundation. Just add a drop - it prevents caking and gives a lovely hydrated finish.
