This toner is perfect for balancing moisture and pH levels👍🏻 It's a product that I received as a Hwahae Trial Reviewer. Abib has done a great job with their mugwort pimple pack, and now I've had the chance to try their toner✨ 1. Ingredients First of all, I'm pleased that it has 0 harmful ingredients according to Hwahae, and all the ingredients are rated as EWG green. Since toners are the first product to touch your bare face, it's important to look for gentle ingredients. The formula is composed of ingredients suitable for any skin type without any irritating components. In reality, I've been using it gently without any irritation🤘🏻✨ Regarding the ingredients, this product features seawater comprising over 80% of the formula, which is the main concept. Most importantly, there seem to be many moisturizing ingredients! Glycerin, hyaluronic acid, butylene glycol, and panthenol - ingredients that are great for hydration are abundantly present. Perhaps that's why, despite being a water-based formula, it provides a dense, moisturizing sensation. It also appears to contain a complex of soothing plant-derived ingredients. Centella, licorice root, chamomile, green tea, rosemary leaf, and golden seal extracts seem to be included, suggesting excellent soothing properties. Overall, a quick scan of the ingredients shows that this is a product focused on the core functions of a toner - hydration and soothing, without any unnecessary irritation, making it suitable for daily use. 2. Texture & Application It has a watery, flowing texture without any noticeable viscosity, making it easy to use as a first step in a 3-7 skin method. The texture absorbs into the skin without any stickiness or oiliness, leaving a refreshing finish. Personally, I felt that it penetrates deeply into the skin without sitting on the surface. 3. Hydration As evident from the ingredients, this product seems to be highly focused on hydration, and it indeed provides excellent moisture compared to typical watery toners. I've been using it morning and night with a 3-skin method, and even in the summer, I didn't experience any dryness (I have combination skin with oily T-zone and dry everywhere else). It feels like it penetrates deep into the skin, so there's no tightness or dryness💙 When I use this toner with the 3-skin, 5-skin, or even 7-skin method, and then apply my makeup, I feel like my moisture and oil balance is well-maintained, and my makeup lasts better (though this could be just my perception). 4. Slightly Acidic Toner I also liked that it has a slightly acidic pH. Of course, many toners these days are slightly acidic, but nonetheless, it's important for a toner to have a slightly acidic pH to help restore the skin's pH balance after cleansing. 5. Overall Impression This seems to be a toner that I'll be reaching for daily. It's very faithful to the core functions of a toner, so I can use it comfortably anytime without any issues! And despite being a watery toner, it provides excellent hydration, which I really appreciate. I think it will be great to use year-round. Personally, I believe a good toner should have 1) gentle ingredients, 2) a slightly acidic pH, and 3) a watery texture that's suitable for the 7-skin method. This toner checks all those boxes for me, and on top of that, it has impressive moisturizing properties. I've been really enjoying using this product lately.

The price is a bit high for me, even though I've tried it as a Hwahae Trial Reviewer. I really enjoy using toners generously, but the price is a little steep for that.😢 This is a gentle toner without whitening or wrinkle improvement functions. Depending on the person, this could be a good or disappointing thing. In fact, the functional ingredients for whitening and wrinkle improvement are not highly irritating (I believe they are in the EWG green grade), so including them might have been fine. For those who want hydration, soothing, balancing, as well as whitening and elasticity from just one toner, this may fall short. However, it could be great for those with very sensitive and delicate skin.
