Comparing it to the famous budget-friendly Innisfree No-Sebum Powder, which I've used about 5 containers of without exaggeration: Application: While the other product applies with a white cast, giving a temporary brightening effect even on bare skin (which I really liked), this one feels more transparent. It gives the impression that it should only be used as the final step in makeup to control oil. However, unlike the other product which can make skin feel dry and uncomfortable if over-applied, this one doesn't leave skin feeling dry or cakey even with heavy application. Price: Though it's quite pricey, I believe it's worth the cost. Longevity: The staying power is truly phenomenal... With the other product, oil would start to show after 1-2 hours, but with this one, even after 5 hours, there's barely any oil breakthrough. I'm amazed... I used to think all powder compacts were the same, but this one is truly different... It really feels like you get what you pay for! Application method: I mainly apply it with a brush, which requires more effort than patting with a puff, but the skin finish is absolutely fantastic!! The brush that came with it when purchased from the official website is quite scratchy, and occasionally large powder particles stick to the face, making it difficult to deal with... (It's like little bits of the compact keep falling off). Also, it's not very portable, and the price is extremely high.. If you just want to lightly control oil, use a brush. For long-lasting makeup under a mask and extremely oily skin types, use a puff to pat on a generous amount!! (I use the puff that comes with the other brand's No-Sebum Powder compact) - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinAug 7, 2021
The adherence is excellent, and I loved how it gives a slight blurring effect. It seems to leave a bit more oil on the skin compared to a no-sebum powder. The price is wicked, but the brush is even more so. Buying two sets would cost around $120, which is outrageous. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 9, 2021
Even a small amount effectively controls oiliness. The powder particles are incredibly fine, so it doesn't seem to clump at all. Using it sparingly gives the impression that it lasts quite a long time. First off, it's expensive... really expensive. And while it would be great to use with the accompanying brush, the brush is even more costly. It feels a bit like using it with a heavy heart. If you use too much, it can absorb excess oil to the point where it actually makes texture and dead skin cells more visible. Apply it sparingly with a brush. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinApr 18, 2021
I always stock up on this product at duty-free shops, and I'm almost running out! I'm usually not good at finishing products, but I always use this one until I can see the bottom. I love a matte look, so powder is a must-have for me. Compared to other powders, this one feels less drying and sets makeup beautifully! It definitely keeps those pesky flyaways in check too. While loose powders can be a hassle to carry around, the pressed format is a big plus. The price of the brush they sell with it is absolutely wicked! The product itself is pricey, but the brush? That's just too much. That's why I always buy just the powder. Even though it's a pressed powder, it seems to run out quickly - maybe because I use it every day. The price is a bit steep, but I still always want to repurchase it. I just use regular drugstore puffs with it! If you put the puff in the compact and close it, there's less risk of breakage when you carry it around. It's more convenient to carry than loose powder, and with the puff inside, that's all you need to take with you - super handy! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinApr 9, 2021
The fine particles don't clog my pores like other powders that usually cause blemishes. Plus, it enhances the longevity of my makeup, which is fantastic! The price is painfully high. And the powder brush is way too expensive as well. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinSep 24, 2020
There's a reason why so many people rave about this product. Among all the powders I've used, this one has the least excess and allows for the most natural touch-ups and makeup setting. It works wonderfully even for combination skin that's between oily and dry. The price is quite steep. While the amount of product doesn't decrease, both the powder and the brush are expensive. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 5, 2020
I can truly understand why this is so popular... I'm in awe! I tested it at the duty-free shop and bought it, but I was absolutely stunned when I used it on the plane. It's like it blurred my pores, making my skin look incredibly smooth. It controls oil without leaving my skin feeling tight. I can't believe I've only just discovered such an amazing product! I was worried about blemishes, but it hasn't caused any irritation at all. The brush is so expensive! This product only works to its full potential when you buy the brush with it... For makeup that lasts all day without breaking down, try mixing Double Wear foundation with Armani foundation, then finish with powder! - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinFeb 27, 2020
While it's useful in other seasons too, this is an absolute must-have for summer skincare! It's unbeatable when it comes to controlling excess oil. After use, my skin feels comfortable without any tightness - I love it! It's great, but quite pricey. And the brush is even more expensive, unfortunately! To save a bit on the price, try purchasing it at duty-free shops. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinJul 30, 2019
I've been using this exclusively for two bottles now. Even with all the cheaper alternatives out there, nothing beats the original. It leaves my skin feeling fresh and breathable, finishing with a baby-soft texture. The brush that comes with it caught my eye because it's dense and soft, but it turns out that's not necessarily a good thing. It causes the makeup to pill... The pressed type gives a finer, more beautiful finish compared to the powder type. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 23, 2019
When I use this powder, it gives my skin a beautiful, porcelain-like finish. It really enhances my complexion beautifully. After a short while, my skin starts to get oily, so the staying power isn't that great. Also, the dedicated brush doesn't seem particularly impressive.
