I've been meaning to buy this for ages, and finally got my hands on it. While it's not an absolute necessity, as my pores have enlarged with age, it's become an essential item in my routine. When I apply it, it blurs my pores beautifully - love it! It creates a gorgeous skin finish without looking cakey. It's great for controlling excess oil, and works wonders when applied with a brush. Though it's not exactly budget-friendly for use all over the face, I've found my holy grail product by using a brush to gently pat it onto my eyes and T-zone. Now I need fewer touch-ups throughout the day! It's pricey, no doubt about that. But it's so good that I keep repurchasing. I'm planning to buy a mini version to carry around, especially with summer approaching. You can find the Okhee brush at Sephora. I'm loving how well it works with this powder! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMar 9, 2025
I've been using this for over 5 years, going through more than 10 containers - it's my holy grail! No matter how hard I try to switch to something else, I always end up coming back to Météorites. The soft, fine particles are truly the best. It's a magical item that gives your skin an incredibly smooth, blurred effect with just one application! Even when your morning makeup starts to fade, a quick pat of Météorites in the evening refreshes your look, making your skin look beautifully renewed! The charm lies in how the powder brightens your face while creating a different effect than foundation - it's a unique kind of beauty. 1. Price: It's extremely expensive. I've bought it through various channels like the official website, duty-free shops, and even second-hand markets for unopened products. Recently, I've been purchasing it at the lowest price on Coupang! 2. Caking with foundation: It's somewhat unavoidable, but if you apply too much in the morning or layer it over extremely oily foundation in the evening, it can cake up and separate! Careful control of the amount is essential. - Hwahae UserOily SkinMar 5, 2025
It makes my skin look smooth and porcelain-like, while visibly refining pores Though it's pricey, I keep using it because it works so well! I get anxious when I'm running low - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 7, 2024
Let me share my experience with Make Up For Ever UHD Pressed Powder! Here we go! [Good points] • Perfect blurring effect: It flawlessly covers pores and evens out skin texture. Just a light dusting instantly smooths the skin, making it ideal for achieving a radiant complexion. • Lightweight finish: Even with multiple applications, it never feels heavy and provides a translucent finish without caking. It's especially great for touch-ups in summer or when your makeup starts to break down. • Longevity: The staying power is impressive. I didn't need to touch up until the afternoon. Even when skin gets oily, this powder significantly reduces shine. Potential drawbacks: • Might be slightly drying for dry skin: Especially in winter, those with dry skin might find it a bit dehydrating. If you have dry skin, it's crucial to ensure thorough moisturization in your base makeup. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I made sure to hydrate well before applying this powder for the finishing touch. Conclusion: Highly recommended for those seeking a smooth skin appearance and oil control! You'll be satisfied if you're looking to set your makeup or combat shine. However, if you have dry skin, I suggest applying it after thorough moisturization! Pro tip: A little goes a long way - Perfect for controlling oil in the T-zone! Since it's effective even in small amounts, avoid applying too much at once. Instead, lightly pat it on for a more beautiful finish. Focus on using it in oily areas like the T-zone or around the nose to maintain shine-free, velvety skin all day long! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 13, 2024
This is the best powder I've ever used! The fine particles give a blurred effect, making your skin look amazing. The generous amount makes it worth trying at least once. When using a puff, it can clump slightly, so I recommend applying it with a brush instead. Since it's better to apply with a brush, I suggest using one with soft, fluffy bristles. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinFeb 10, 2024
I had been using Banila Co powder as a cheaper alternative to Mefactory, but I wanted to try a better powder, so I decided to give this a shot! While the blurring effect is similar to Banila Co, I loved that it feels much thinner and less heavy, even when applied generously. Being a pressed powder, it also had significantly less excess compared to loose powders. Using a puff doesn't give the most even application, but the blurring effect was fantastic. With a brush, it applies thinly but with relatively less blurring. However, compared to other powders, it still does an excellent job at reducing shine even when applied with a brush. I recommend using a dense brush with lots of bristles, as the flimsy Daiso ones can't effectively set the powder for that velvety finish. As for staying power, maybe because I have dry skin or because it's winter, it maintained its initial appearance well. My makeup didn't break down, which was great! Not being able to store the puff inside the compact? That's quite inconvenient, unfortunately. It pairs wonderfully with the Studio 17 powder brush! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinOct 27, 2023
The staying power of the base is really improved and the texture is fine. It creates a beautiful blurring effect. When oil builds up on the palette, it can cause clumping. The price is quite steep. To prevent clumping, I frequently clean my brushes! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJun 23, 2023
This product is a triple threat - it sets makeup, blurs pores, and controls oil all in one go. And it's lightweight with great staying power to boot. Just roll the brush once or twice over your face and you're done. Yes, it's pricey, but it's worth every penny. Truly top-notch. The price is a bit steep, but powder products last so long that it's not a deal-breaker. There's a slight excess of powder when applying, but it's forgivable. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinFeb 12, 2023
Applying this as a finishing touch over foundation creates a wonderfully matte effect, enhancing staying power and giving a beautifully soft-focus finish. Its slim, compact size makes it perfect for on-the-go touch-ups. With only 6.2 grams of product, it runs out rather quickly. The lack of an included puff is a bit inconvenient. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 8, 2022
I bought this after seeing many famous YouTubers use it. The quantity is generous, and it gives a nice blurred finish to the skin. I'm not sure if the performance justifies the price. There's also some excess powder fallout... I'll probably try a different powder next time.
