It feels incredibly moisturizing and soft! I'm not sure how it'll work for deep dryness yet, but for now, it seems to eliminate any feeling of tightness deep within the skin. It's a bit slippery? There's some oiliness left on the surface. The scent is also reminiscent of that typical shampoo smell you'd encounter at a public bathhouse... - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinDec 16, 2020
Hello! Let's start the review of the Water Bank Moisture Essence. It seems my pump isn't faulty. After 2-3 pumps, I get enough product to cover my entire face. When first applied, it feels a bit slippery, but it absorbs quickly, leaving no residual slickness. Despite having 'Water Bank' in its name, I don't particularly feel like it's deeply hydrating my skin. I really dislike the artificial fragrance. As someone who always uses fragrance-free or very mildly scented products, this scent is off-putting to me. Also, being a student, I find the price-to-performance ratio quite poor. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinMay 27, 2020
As someone with very oily skin, I found this worked well for me in winter. It didn't leave that greasy feeling, you know? However, it wasn't so amazing that I'd keep using it continuously. The scent was also a bit artificial? Personally, I wouldn't repurchase it, but I'm glad I tried it once. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinMay 14, 2020
The texture flows like water. It's close to the feel of a cream skin. I think it would suit those who prefer a light feel. Note that it's not a thick, bouncy essence texture. The hydration is abundant. It gives that surge of moisture you get when applying a hydrating cream. There's even moisture left on your fingers, so I apply it when my skin feels dry for a hydration boost. Actually, when I first received this product, I was dealing with atopic dermatitis and my face was covered in dead skin cells. During that time of extreme flakiness due to seasonal blemishes, I didn't notice immediate deep hydration when I applied it. But that might be because my skin was in its worst condition then. Now that my skin's condition has improved a lot, I can feel the moisturizing effect on my generally dry skin. There's absolutely no skin irritation or tingling, and the texture is really light yet hydrating, so you'll need to complement it with a cream. Because the texture is so thin, it tends to splash a bit when you first pump it. A dropper type might be more suitable. The scent is somewhat artificial, which isn't great. Personally, I prefer natural herbal scents, so the fragrance doesn't suit me well. When pumping, don't dispense it onto the back of your hand. Instead, cup your palm and bring it close to the pump to avoid splashing.
