When my regular highlighter ran out, I decided to try this instead and oh my goodness... I regret not using it sooner. This is revolutionary! If you're looking for a highlighter with lots of shimmer like an eyeshadow, I honestly wouldn't recommend this. It's not that kind of highlighter. It's more of a balm texture, so it does have a slight stickiness to it. However, if you prefer a 'no-makeup makeup' look and are serious about achieving that Inner Glow, I strongly recommend this. Especially when applied to the C-zone around the eyes, it creates an almost lifting effect. Gently blending it on sunken areas of the forehead can naturally fill them out for a more youthful appearance.
ConsAs mentioned earlier, the balm texture can be described as moisturizing at best, or sticky at worst. In other words, it can look a bit greasy and transfer easily. I haven't tried applying it over a full-coverage foundation, but I suspect it might cause the foundation or cushion to pill if not careful.
TipWhen applied over a combination of skincare, sunscreen, and concealer for a 'no-makeup makeup' look, it might appear a bit shiny at first. However, after some time, it absorbs into the skin, leaving a natural glow!

My first impression was, 'Wow, it's not as sticky as I thought!' I've always avoided using other balm-type highlighters due to their characteristic sticky feel, but the Hince Radiance Balm felt much lighter compared to other products. I was able to use it comfortably without any heavy or sticky sensation on my skin. We all have that secret desire for dewy skin with a beautiful glow, right? This product is perfect for achieving that luxurious and pretty radiance! It makes your skin look healthy, vibrant, and sophisticated. The application is incredibly smooth, and thanks to its lightweight texture, it's so easy to apply with just a few swipes. You don't need any special skills or complicated techniques to use this product, making it accessible for anyone. The formula, application, skin appearance, and ingredients are all fantastic!
ConsSince we're constantly wearing masks these days, it does tend to leave mask imprints. Those with oily skin might find it a bit rich. When applied to areas with skin texture or small blemishes, it might accentuate them slightly.
TipWhen applying as the final step of your makeup routine, avoid swiping the stick directly on your face as it may cause pilling. Instead, warm the product on your hands and gently pat it onto your skin for better results with less pilling. If you're not fond of using it as a final step, you can take advantage of its easily absorbed formula by applying it to your face before foundation. Gently pat it in, then apply your foundation for a subtle Inner Glow effect. If you find that powder blush looks odd against the glowy skin, try mixing the balm with lipstick or tint for a beautiful, dewy effect that puts cream blushes to shame.

Skin type: Combination, sensitive, thin skin with slight redness and blemishes Detailed review: 1. Packaging I love that all Hince products have a clean exterior and don't look cheap. 2. Natural feel First off, the clear type has no shimmer, so it doesn't emphasize texture or pores, and there's no need to worry about blemishes. I was concerned it might be too heavy, but it's surprisingly lightweight. It's not too sticky, and it creates a natural inner glow. Definitely notice that when used after foundation, my skin feels less dry compared to when I don't use it! 3. Ingredients While it may vary for each person, according to Hwahae's information, there are no risky ingredients, which is reassuring! It's also unscented, so there's no risk from fragrance ingredients. I have sensitive skin, but I didn't experience any blemishes or reactions after using it.
Cons1. Application method Well, if you apply the product directly from the container, it can remove your makeup. You need to warm it up with your fingers and pat it onto your skin. That's a bit inconvenient. 2. Transfer issues Inevitably, when wearing a mask, more makeup transfers onto it. It also tends to stick to your hair a bit. 3. Subtle highlighting It seems a bit weak to use as a highlighter substitute. It's more of a dewy, hydrated effect?
TipIf you apply it directly from the container, there's a high chance of smudging or removing your makeup. Instead of rubbing it in, warm it up on your fingers and gently pat it onto your skin!
