When wearing a mask, I only apply it to the visible skin above. It's great for covering the slight redness between my eyebrows and occasional blemishes. The coverage is truly beautiful, and it really brightens up my under-eye area, which tends to be a bit dark. Personally, I noticed that after a while, it seemed to make dead skin cells more noticeable. I was also a bit disappointed that it felt slightly oily as time went on. Recommended for those with mild dark circles! It works well when applied in a thin layer. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 11, 2021
The coverage seems pretty decent! It applies smoothly with a matte finish. As time passes, it gets a bit oily, which is slightly bothersome, but it's not a major issue. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 5, 2019
A true staple! I have combination dehydrated skin (oily in summer), redness, blemishes, and super sensitive skin. I've been using Hanskin's concealer for quite a while, but the shade I bought wasn't listed on Hwahae, so I've been putting off writing a review until today. (Even though it's marked as discontinued on the Hwahae app, it's still being sold at Olive Young and online! I recently bought the large size at Olive Young.) I aim for natural-looking makeup that matches my skin tone, and this product satisfies me in terms of ingredients, color (I prefer yellowish tones to cover redness), coverage, and staying power. It has a slightly matte finish, so you need a solid skincare base if you have a lot of dead skin cells or during seasonal changes, but it's truly a holy grail product. I've never had a breakout while using it! After 10 minutes, it turns slightly grayish, but once applied to the face, it doesn't change into a strange color and maintains well. (Very occasionally) I use it to cover blemishes before foundation, and it covers extremely well. I find myself using it more often instead of foundation. (Skincare - Sunscreen - Makeup base (or primer) - Hanskin concealer - Powder (or skip)) You can cover with a really small amount, so one purchase lasts quite a long time. The coverage is excellent. (Next time, I plan to buy shade 2 and mix it with shade 3) The downside is that it's not a stick concealer, so you can't just swipe it on. There's the hassle of having to apply it with a brush. It can feel dry, so sometimes it can look cakey when covering small areas. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, the cakiness subsides a bit as my natural oils come through over time. I haven't tried stick concealers, so I'm posting a swatch photo to show the color (Clio Air Fit in shade 4 Ginger and Wakemake shade 20 are very similar. Wakemake shade 21 has a slight pink undertone). You can buy it cheaper than the regular price when it's on sale or when ordering online. It's even better that it comes in a large size (+ puff + brush set)! For those with redness, or if you use Rom&nd Zero Foundation in Natural Beige, Hanskin concealer in shade 3 (natural, 23) will be a good match.
