The coverage is excellent. I have acne scars, and this concealer does a great job hiding them! It also absorbs well on the skin. It can be a bit drying, making touch-ups somewhat challenging. Also, the concealer shade tends to be on the darker side, so it might be tricky to match with your complexion. This concealer is perfect for spot-concealing areas with blemishes or marks. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSep 25, 2023
Great for concealing stubble marks. I've been using it for the 8th time since this year. It makes my skin dry. I'm not sure if it's supposed to be like this, but my skin feels parched. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinNov 13, 2022
Works well on darker skin tones. The coverage seems pretty decent too. It applies a bit thick and feels somewhat drying. The tube packaging is a little inconvenient. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 2, 2022
It covers up even severe acne and redness (as if I've been drinking) completely Being a concealer, it tends to dry out quite easily. Make sure to apply plenty of hydration before using it - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinJan 14, 2020
I love how it provides thin yet adhesive coverage! My under-eye wrinkles are quite severe, and all the concealers I've used before creased in the wrinkles. But this one seems to have the least creasing of them all. It's not thick, so there's no caking, and it's my favorite concealer I've tried so far. It finishes with a matte effect, which can be a bit drying in winter. During seasonal changes or winter, you'll need to be extra diligent with your skincare routine before applying it. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 5, 2019
A true staple! I have combination dehydrated skin (oily in summer), redness, blemishes, and super sensitive skin. I've been using Hanskin's concealer for quite a while, but the shade I bought wasn't listed on Hwahae, so I've been putting off writing a review until today. (Even though it's marked as discontinued on the Hwahae app, it's still being sold at Olive Young and online! I recently bought the large size at Olive Young.) I aim for natural-looking makeup that matches my skin tone, and this product satisfies me in terms of ingredients, color (I prefer yellowish tones to cover redness), coverage, and staying power. It has a slightly matte finish, so you need a solid skincare base if you have a lot of dead skin cells or during seasonal changes, but it's truly a holy grail product. I've never had a breakout while using it! After 10 minutes, it turns slightly grayish, but once applied to the face, it doesn't change into a strange color and maintains well. (Very occasionally) I use it to cover blemishes before foundation, and it covers extremely well. I find myself using it more often instead of foundation. (Skincare - Sunscreen - Makeup base (or primer) - Hanskin concealer - Powder (or skip)) You can cover with a really small amount, so one purchase lasts quite a long time. The coverage is excellent. (Next time, I plan to buy shade 2 and mix it with shade 3) The downside is that it's not a stick concealer, so you can't just swipe it on. There's the hassle of having to apply it with a brush. It can feel dry, so sometimes it can look cakey when covering small areas. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, the cakiness subsides a bit as my natural oils come through over time. I haven't tried stick concealers, so I'm posting a swatch photo to show the color (Clio Air Fit in shade 4 Ginger and Wakemake shade 20 are very similar. Wakemake shade 21 has a slight pink undertone). You can buy it cheaper than the regular price when it's on sale or when ordering online. It's even better that it comes in a large size (+ puff + brush set)! For those with redness, or if you use Rom&nd Zero Foundation in Natural Beige, Hanskin concealer in shade 3 (natural, 23) will be a good match.
