  Pros

  Despite being mildly alkaline, it doesn't cause much deep dryness after use. When you're washing your face, you'll notice the foam is truly ultra-fine.

  Cons

  Those who say their pores weren't managed after using this probably just didn't cleanse properly. If you use it with cleansers that claim to block pores, it actually enhances the cleansing effectiveness.

  At the time of use, I felt it cleansed without causing any irritation.

  Cons

  Strongly discouraged for oily and sensitive skin like mine. I bought it without knowing and used it once, only to wake up with dermatitis the next day. It seems to have clogged my pores, leading to seborrheic dermatitis.

  I personally loved the squeaky clean feeling it gave. It felt like it thoroughly cleansed my face!

  Cons

  While it gave a squeaky clean sensation, I was shocked to find out that it contains three pore-clogging ingredients. What a disappointment!

  I was terrified that this cleanser would clog all my pores since it contains three ingredients supposedly bad for oily skin. But wow, there's no better cleansing foam out there! Some reviews mention it's just about how the same ingredients are chemically processed, and I can confirm that using it twice daily causes no issues. I've been loyal to this product for nearly a decade. I tried other so-called low pH cleansers, but they left my skin feeling slippery and even caused blemishes. Wondering if my cleansing foam was the culprit, I reluctantly switched back to this one, and my skin found its glow again. Please keep making this forever. I love you, La Roche-Posay! (The price is a bit wicked, but once travel restrictions lift, I'm heading straight to a French pharmacy!)

  Pros

  It's gentle on the skin. Even with rosacea and acne, I didn't experience any particular irritation. The feel is similar to Senka. Despite having dermatitis, I use this mild alkaline cleanser due to excess sebum, and lately, it's the only one I use.

  Cons

  Despite being alkaline with high cleansing effectiveness, it didn't remove the sebum stuck in my T-zone pores...

  Tip

  The price is too steep. It's not even 200ml, just 125ml. Even with Olive Young's sales, it still costs over 10,000 won.

  It seems to be gentle on the skin and doesn't leave my face feeling dry after use. The cleanser lathers up well, so you can effectively cleanse with just a small amount.

  I didn't research this product thoroughly and bought it solely based on hearing it was good for sensitive skin. In conclusion, as someone with oily, acne-prone, and sensitive skin, I don't think this product suited me well. Initially, I thought it was fine because my skin felt smoother, but the more I used it, the more I felt like my pores were getting clogged. It actually led to seborrheic dermatitis. While it's probably not entirely due to this product, I wouldn't recommend it to those with oily, acne-prone skin like mine.

  Purchased from Olive Young on June 11, 2020. The pre-renewal version was much better. I've been using it for about 3 years, even on skin prone to folliculitis, as it didn't contain citric acid or pore-clogging ingredients. What a major letdown.

  Cons

  I wonder why they changed the formula. Is this cleansing foam designed to clog pores? I habitually stopped by Olive Young and bought it when I noticed the packaging color had changed, thinking it was just a redesign. After using it only 3 times, the right side of my butterfly zone is completely wrecked with folliculitis - red, itchy, and covered in tiny blisters. I did notice small bumps all over my cheeks after the first use. I should have stopped then. Now I'm desperately applying Cicalpaso cream as damage control.
