  Pros

  It's mildly alkaline but still protects the skin barrier. Especially great for men with combination to oily skin. The rich, dense lather effectively cleanses even microscopic dust particles.

  Cons

  As someone with sensitive and combination dehydrated skin, I find using only mildly acidic cleansers restrictive, while mildly alkaline ones make my skin feel tight. It's not severe, but it does leave my skin feeling a bit dry.

  Tip

  For those who spend a lot of time outdoors, I recommend using this occasionally for maintenance, regardless of skin type. Combination dehydrated skin needs plenty of hydration. Particularly for the eye area and philtrum, use a different mildly acidic or slightly acidic cleanser. If you're in a hurry, just gently cleanse with the foam.

  Pros

  I've been using this cleansing foam for over 5 bottles now. I've tried others, but nothing seems to suit me as well as this one. Even when I'm tempted to stray, I always come back to this trusty product. Don't expect any miraculous effects from it though - you might be disappointed if you do. It's simply a cleanser that excels at the basics, which I find refreshingly clean and straightforward. First off, its cleansing effectiveness is excellent. Despite my extremely dry, atopy-prone, super sensitive skin, I absolutely hate that slippery feeling after washing. With gentler products, I often end up washing longer or twice, causing irritation. This one, however, lathers well even with a small amount and leaves my skin feeling thoroughly cleansed without overworking it. The foam is rich, so a little goes a long way. There's even research showing it's great at removing fine dust, which makes it even more reliable. As a bonus, I love the fresh, blue packaging - it brightens up my bathroom!

  Cons

  It's on the pricier side, and the durability could be better. I've had issues with the cap breaking several times. Opening and closing can be a bit stiff, which gets worse as you near the end of the product, making it hard to use up completely. Given the price point, I wish they'd pay more attention to the packaging's durability and user-friendliness.

  Tip

  Because this cleansing foam has such strong cleansing power, it might be a bit harsh for those with super sensitive skin or extremely dry skin. I use it at night to wash away the day's accumulated fine dust, but for my morning cleanse, I opt for a gentler cleanser.

  Pros

  I bought this as duty-free while traveling. Since I was going to a hot country, I chose this to minimize cleansing products as I wouldn't be wearing makeup except for sunscreen. The cleansing effectiveness was great. Usually, I remove my organic UV-filter sunscreen with oil and then double cleanse with foam, but with Toleriane alone, I cleansed and wiped with a pad - there was nothing left on the pad, leaving my skin clean. However, for mineral UV-filter brightening moisturizer, it felt a bit insufficient, so I wiped with a pad first, then used foam, which worked well. I'm used to pH-balanced foams that leave my skin hydrated, but this product gave a squeaky clean feeling. It's been a while since I felt that refreshing squeaky clean sensation while cleansing. My husband particularly liked this aspect.

  Cons

  This could be an advantage for those who like that squeaky clean feeling, but might be a disadvantage for those accustomed to the hydration of pH-balanced cleansers. The former describes my husband, the latter describes me. It feels slightly tight on the skin. This can be addressed with a solid skincare routine. Apply plenty of moisturizer!

  Tip

  Since I was traveling, I had to finish cleansing with just this. If you're like me and use tinted cosmetics, it's good to wipe once with a pad and then cleanse with foam.

  Previously, I mainly used low pH products, but I felt my combination skin needed a bit more cleansing to filter out impurities and improve circulation. This product has a nicely balanced texture that's moisturizing yet firm. It lathers up more than expected and leaves my skin feeling hydrated without any tightness.

  Cons

  I couldn't quite remember what I bought before, so I made a rough guess based on the packaging... Turns out, what I had previously purchased was Effaclar? But I'm still using this one quite satisfactorily!

  Pros

  I usually use other foam cleansers, but I decided to try this one when I saw it on sale at Olive Young. It's fantastic for managing sebum, even for my extremely dry skin. Its cleansing power is so good that it even removes sunscreen effectively! It cleanses thoroughly while still feeling gentle. My brother only uses this one and says it's great too! You only need a small amount to create a rich lather. There's no tightness after cleansing. It's excellent for managing oily T-zones, making it a perfect foam cleanser for summer use!

  Cons

  Everything's great except for the small size. It seems like a small amount, but it lasts quite a while! You only need a little to create a nice, fluffy lather, leaving you feeling refreshed after cleansing.

  Tip

  I normally use this, but once a week I mix in a bit of enzyme powder for a deep cleansing effect. Using it this way prevents blackheads and whiteheads from forming in my T-zone and U-zone. You should definitely try this method - it works wonders!

Texture As someone with oily skin prone to blemishes, I need a foam cleanser that thoroughly cleanses without leaving my skin feeling tight. This product ticks all those boxes. It effectively removes oil, leaving my skin squeaky clean, but I've never experienced dryness. It gives the impression of removing excess oil without stripping the skin's natural moisture. Also, a small amount produces a rich lather. I often use a pore brush for cleansing, and the abundant foam allows for a gentler cleanse with less irritation. The foam is delightfully dense, and the thick consistency prevents it from dripping down your face, which I appreciate. 2. Gentle Formula I haven't experienced any breakouts or skin tightness when using this product. Some foam cleansers can be very irritating to my skin, but this one caused no such issues. With consistent use, I've noticed a decrease in breakouts, and it's even helped improve my folliculitis without exacerbating the condition. 3. Fragrance-free I prefer products without fragrance, so I'm pleased that this one is unscented.

  Cons: 1. Stings if it gets in your nose The foam is so rich that when cleansing your whole face, it sometimes gets into your nose. Packaging The squeeze tube can be inconvenient at times. It would be great if it came in a pump dispenser format.

  Using this with a bubble maker produces an incredibly rich lather. (You can use a tiny amount and still get plenty of foam, which helps the product last longer.)
