ConsThere wasn't really anything in particular. If I had to choose, it would be that the lather didn't come out as rich and abundant.

(I still have a lot of my current products to use up, so I haven't opened the new one yet.) Out of all of La Roche-Posay's facial cleansing products, this is my favorite. I can confidently recommend this product to those around me. It's difficult to explain precisely, but after using it, my skin feels soft and smooth, and my complexion just feels comfortable. I like that it doesn't lather up too much.
ConsThe amount can be a bit tricky to control. And the lather doesn't get too voluminous.
TipIf you want to create more lather, you can use it with a foaming net.

My entire face was covered in large and small hives, making my skin unbearably itchy. Of course, my complexion became dark and reddened. The difference in color between my hairline and forehead was quite noticeable. The antibiotics, antihistamines, corticosteroids, and steroid ointments prescribed by the dermatologist were effective, so I became dependent on them. But as soon as I stopped taking the medication, the redness and itchiness would immediately return, causing me great distress. The anxiety of never being able to fully recover and the worry of the itchiness returning affected my daily life significantly. I became obsessively fixated on the ingredients in cosmetics, and even switched all my products, including fabric softener, to fragrance-free versions. I even sold all my beloved perfumes. Of course, it was all in vain. Quitting alcohol, tobacco, coffee, chocolate, snacks, and dairy products didn't help either. (Although drinking alcohol or coffee did immediately worsen the itchiness.) Then, I came across a YouTube video that said people with oily skin may need a more alkaline cleanser, as acidic cleansers can be insufficient and cause breakouts. Even though I didn't have any acne or blemishes, I figured it was worth a try. The product I chose met the following criteria: 1. Fragrance-free 2. No additional extracts 3. Alkaline 4. Adequate cleansing power 5. Minimal skin irritation or dryness (based on reviews) And the results have been satisfactory! The cleanser rinses off thoroughly, leaving a refreshed and smooth feeling, similar to the Perfect Whip. Yet, it doesn't dry out or tighten my skin at all. Thorough cleansing makes my skin, especially the T-zone, incredibly smooth. Even when my skin was inflamed, the cleanser didn't cause any irritation after my condition improved.
Cons1. Compared to the mildly acidic cleansers I had used before, the foam of this product was much denser, but not as voluminous. 2. The price is on the higher side. 3. When my skin was severely inflamed, the thorough cleansing sensation sometimes irritated my skin and exacerbated the inflammation. 4. If I rushed through the cleansing process, I didn't feel the product had great cleansing power, as some oily residue remained on my skin. (With the mildly acidic cleansers, my skin would feel smooth and clean after a thorough cleansing.)
TipFor oily skin that needs effective cleansing, but also for those with slightly sensitive skin, the ideal facial cleanser would be:
