You only need to scoop out a small amount and let it melt with your skin's temperature. It dissolves gently on your face, so you don't need to use a lot.

Given it's a balm, I have a feeling I'll misplace the spatula soon. I wish the balm came in a narrow tube instead, which would be more convenient.

The downside is that the built-in cap is quite difficult to remove and replace. It's really inconvenient that you have to open the lid again to put the cap on, and you need to twist the lid to take the cap off. This is quite frustrating to deal with.
