Being dry-skinned, I was desperately looking for a hydrating product. This one has just the right amount of richness, making it feel sufficiently moisturizing! I love that it has a moderate white cast and gentle ingredients, so it doesn't cause any blemishes!
ConsI'm not sure if it's because my skin has become more dehydrated, but I felt like my skin was getting a bit parched. So I tried the Torriden mineral sunscreen, and I noticed a difference. The Cell Fusion C feels like it forms an oil barrier? It looks dewy and moisturized on the surface, but if you have deep dryness like me, you might feel that drying sensation. However, the Torriden one seems to have more hydration, so it keeps my skin feeling moisturized for longer. Another downside is... the packaging. I wish it had a cap instead of a screw-top lid.
TipThis is still truly a great product! I still have some left, so I'm planning to use it alongside the Torriden one. If there are any updates, I'll post revisions!

There's also a subtle glow.
ConsAfter some time, it seems to cause a bit of deep dryness, unfortunately.

Skin Type: I have dry skin, but in summer it tends to get a bit oily. I don't have acne-prone skin. Texture: It has an emulsion-like texture. Application: It applies smoothly with a moisturizing feel. Initially, it might feel a bit sticky, but it gradually becomes powdery. Perhaps a bit too powdery... White Cast: It just lightly evens out the skin tone, nothing too dramatic. Pilling: It spreads easily like an emulsion and doesn't pill at all. Scent: It has that typical sunscreen scent. Ingredients: The ingredients seem good. Even though I don't have acne-prone skin, I usually get a pimple or two when using products that don't suit me, but I didn't experience any of that with this one.
ConsIt's drying. Even though I have dry skin, I don't usually experience deep dryness, especially in summer when my skin tends to be oilier than usual. But with this product, the deep dryness is intense. The surface feels oily, but underneath it's like a drought! I tried this after finding Dr. G's sunscreen too drying, but it's the same story - my face feels tighter as time passes... I probably won't repurchase.
TipMake sure to cleanse thoroughly. Since it's a mineral sunscreen, it won't come off easily without double cleansing. It's great for summer when you want to go foundation-free and just apply sunscreen for a light look.

However, these days I actually prefer sunscreens with a slight white cast. The scent is subtle and refreshingly citrusy without being overpowering. I've been using Round A'Round Green Tea Sunscreen for a while, but this feels even more hydrating. It has excellent absorption and feels moisturizing and slightly rich when applied. Update: If you apply your skincare lightly, it might feel a bit tight, but if you moisturize well beforehand, there's no tightness. I plan to use this in summer and switch to Round A'Round in winter. Lately, I've been mixing this (40%), Round A'Round (40%), and Chica y Chico tone-up cream (20%) for my daily routine. If needed, a touch of concealer is enough - I'm really happy with the results. The tube is thin and lightweight, making it convenient to carry around.
ConsIt feels moisturizing when first applied, but as time passes, deep dryness becomes more noticeable. When reapplying, you need to use a moisturizer first. It's quite expensive unless you catch a buy-one-get-one-free sale.
TipThis pairs really well with the Nude Fantasy brightening moisturizer!

My skin is super sensitive, so some sunscreens can sting when applied, but this one didn't cause any irritation or burning around my eyes. Often, mineral sunscreens can be challenging to apply and leave a white cast, but this one had great absorption! While there was a slight white cast, it wasn't severe, so I was quite satisfied.
ConsThe downside, as expected with mineral sunscreens, was that there was still some white cast, albeit minimal. Also, despite feeling smooth and hydrating upon initial application, I noticed it seemed to dry out my skin over time. The feeling changed quite a bit from when I first applied it, which was a bit disappointing.
TipOverall, I was satisfied, but if you have dry skin like me, I'd recommend strengthening your base skincare routine for better results!

My skin type: Extremely dehydrated and dry (with deep dryness), but gets oily very easily Texture: Super easy to apply with an emulsion-like consistency, no clumping or stiffness Brightening effect: Gives a slight brightening effect for a more lively appearance Application: It adheres perfectly to the skin right away! Despite the emulsion-like texture, it feels incredibly lightweight without any stickiness or discomfort after application. There's minimal oil production later on too. As expected from CellFusion C, it definitely exceeds the basics. Irritation: The scent isn't particularly pleasant, but surprisingly, I didn't experience any blemishes. Even when left on for a long time, my skin didn't show much irritation. This was unexpected!
ConsTightness: Although it has a moisturizing texture and applies smoothly, strangely, it leaves a dry and tight feeling on the skin. If you have dehydrated skin like mine, make sure to really amp up your hydration routine. Emphasizes dead skin cells: It's not severe, but as mentioned above, if you don't prep your skin well, dead skin cells can occasionally become noticeable. Especially when I used it in dry, windy weather, even with a good skincare routine, dead skin cells would appear and my skin felt tight outdoors. Indoors, oil would surface in the T-zone while still feeling tight (you know that oily yet tight feeling, right?). Scent: It's not an off-putting fragrance, but when applied, it gives more of a 'this might cause issues' vibe rather than a 'this is good for my skin' feeling. It varies from person to person, and I'm not particularly sensitive to scents, so it was fine for me. But those with sensitivities should take note! Surprisingly, despite my concerns, my skin handled it better than expected given the scent.
TipMake sure your base skincare is absolutely solid. I was hoping for a 'matte but moisturized' effect, but about 30 minutes after application, it feels oily on the outside and dry on the inside. If possible, it's better to use this in less dry seasons like spring or summer rather than in windy winter weather, relying on its application feel.

The texture is like an emulsion! I really dislike sunscreens that feel thick and heavy when applying, but this one feels smooth and pleasant without that sensation. 2. There's minimal white cast. It gives a natural, slightly brighter complexion? This effect is only noticeable right after application, and once it's fully absorbed, my skin just looks nicely hydrated. 3. I applied foundation over the sunscreen and there was hardly any pilling. I let it absorb for about 5 minutes before applying makeup, and it felt just like putting foundation over a regular emulsion. 4. The ingredients are gentle. Maybe it's because I knew this beforehand, but it felt really mild! Usually, I get blemishes on my chin when wearing a mask after applying sunscreen, but not with this product. Keep in mind that this can vary depending on individual skin conditions. 5. The scent isn't overpowering. It has a typical sunscreen smell, but it's not too strong.
Cons1. The size is small. I tend to apply sunscreen generously, and after using it like that for a week, it's already running low. 2. As I have combination dehydrated skin, I felt a bit of deep dryness. As a result, my skin became quite oily after a while.

A bit about me: I used to have oily, acne-prone skin, but due to recent neglect, it's shifted to combination dehydrated with blemishes. 1. Scent The fragrance is pretty standard for cosmetics - nothing particularly off-putting. Just average. 2. Texture & Application This is where I absolutely fell in love. I previously used a mineral sunscreen from another brand that felt really thick and hard to spread. It put me off mineral sunscreens altogether, and I switched to chemical ones despite the risk of breakouts. But this one? It feels just like applying a hydrating moisturizer or a super smooth emulsion. Absolutely delightful. 3. White Cast As I mentioned earlier, my previous mineral sunscreen left a noticeable white cast. People often say you have to accept the white cast with mineral sunscreens, right? Well, this one proves that wrong. There's barely any white cast, which is fantastic for someone who wears makeup like me. 4. Great Makeup Base It creates the perfect canvas for makeup. It leaves my skin with just the right amount of moisture, making foundation application a breeze. It might be a bit too rich for those with extremely oily skin, but for me, it's perfect. 5. Acne-Friendly Usually, sunscreens make my acne flare up like crazy. But guess what? This one doesn't cause any breakouts at all! If the price was a bit more wallet-friendly, I'd dare to call it my holy grail. This is definitely its strongest point. The product feels very gentle on my skin. It's my first time trying a Cell Fusion C product, and now I'm tempted to try their other items when they go on sale at Olive Young.
Cons1. Price Honestly, I was ready to declare this my holy grail after using it for a week. But considering how I don't place too much importance on sunscreens, I can't help but feel it's a bit on the pricey side for what it is. 2. Slight Deep Dryness Given that I have combination dehydrated skin, I tend to experience deep dryness, especially around my cheeks. While this product feels wonderfully moisturizing right after application, I did notice my cheeks starting to feel a bit tight as time passed. However, I must say, among all the sunscreens I've tried, this one caused the least amount of deep dryness.
TipFor those who've given up on sunscreen due to constant skin reactions, I strongly recommend this as an entry-level sunscreen! It works hard to protect your skin without causing irritation.

It applies so smoothly without being runny or clumping like some cream formulas, which I found truly impressive. This was my favorite aspect. The texture makes it very easy to apply. It spreads and absorbs well with just a few swipes of your fingers. Some people mentioned needing to pat it in thoroughly for absorption, but for me, it absorbed on its own within a minute even without proper patting. Tone-up effect: As this cream focuses on sun protection, don't expect a significant tone-up effect. It does provide a natural glow, but on its own, it won't offer much skin correction. Scent: Likely due to its gentle formulation, I barely noticed any fragrance.
ConsHydration: Initially, I was excited by the burst of moisture upon application. However, after 4-5 hours, my skin started feeling tight, beginning from the lower face and eventually spreading all over. At first, I thought it might be due to my matte foundation, but even when I used a more hydrating foundation the next day, the tightness persisted. Those with dry or very dry skin should consider this before purchasing. Price: The price point is quite high, which might make frequent repurchases challenging. Ingredients: I was surprised to find more potentially irritating ingredients than expected. Those with sensitive skin should thoroughly research the ingredient list before buying.
TipTo compensate for the lack of hydration and tone-up effect, I tried mixing it with a moisturizing tone-up cream without SPF. This combination helped address the drawbacks. However, if I need to mix it with another product to make it work, especially at this price point, I probably won't repurchase. Please note that this review is based entirely on my personal skin type and experience.

Compared to other mineral sunscreens, this product has a moisturizing and creamy texture that feels like it's hugging my skin when I apply it~ I don't like sunscreens that are stiff and sticky, but this product feels creamy and firm without any stickiness. The scent is subtle, and there's minimal white cast - just a slight brightening effect~ These days, I'm mostly wearing masks, so I only apply this product without makeup. It has a slight brightening effect and is moisturizing, making it easy to reapply throughout the day without any pilling. Most mineral sunscreens I've tried before were quite drying, so I didn't prefer them. However, I really like how this one applies, so I'll probably continue using it in the future.
ConsSince I have extremely dry skin, it feels fine right after application, but after some time, I experience a bit of deep dryness. Compared to other mineral sunscreens I've used, it applies better, but the slight deep dryness is a bit disappointing.
TipFor those with very dry skin, if you apply your base skincare products thoroughly, you'll likely be satisfied with this product.
