Subtle brightening effect With my skin tone around 22.5, I usually dislike mineral sunscreens with strong white cast as they make me look ghostly. However, this one has a subtle brightening effect that looks natural. 2. Slightly covers redness My skin tends to have an overall flushed appearance, but when I apply this, it covers the redness a bit. Of course, since I don't have particularly fair skin, there is still a slight 'I'm wearing sunscreen' look, but it does seem to make the red areas appear less noticeable. 3. Powdery finish without pilling It has a powdery finish like a sun milk, but the best part is that it never pills even when reapplied multiple times.
Cons1. What's with the scent? It's a mix of sunscreen ingredients and natural essential oils, which I find a bit unpleasant. When I put on a mask after applying it, the smell keeps wafting up, which is bothersome. The fragrance is quite strong, so it can be a bit overwhelming at times. 2. Blurs wrinkles but doesn't help with enlarged pores While it has a blurring effect on wrinkles, it's not effective for enlarged pores. On areas where I've squeezed out blackheads, it settles into the pores, making them look like they're filled with white sebum. It makes my nose look... dirty. I think it's best to avoid applying it directly to pore-prone areas.

It's my first time using it, and I'm pleasantly surprised by how good it is. The absorption is fantastic - it sinks in without leaving any white cast, keeping my skin moisturized. I love that it doesn't pill and absorbs quickly. Plus, it's great that my skin feels less dry after applying this sunscreen.
ConsI think the fragrance might be a bit too strong. I'm quite sensitive to scents, and while Cell Fusion C's sunscreen isn't overwhelmingly potent, it's not exactly subtle either. I wish they could tone down the fragrance a bit.

ConsThe fragrance... If only it didn't have a scent, this could have been my holy grail sunscreen. It has a floral scent, and since I have pollen allergies, it makes my nose hurt when I apply it. When I go for a walk after applying, bees are attracted to me, and the scent is overwhelming inside my mask. I thought this was a sunscreen for skin health, so why did they add such potentially harmful fragrances? (I really hope they remove the fragrance in future reformulations.)
TipAs a physical sunscreen, it takes time to absorb into the skin. Gently pat it in or use a puff to help absorb any excess sunscreen on the surface, then wipe off for a clean finish.

There's hardly any white cast, so it doesn't stray far from my natural complexion, which is great. While there's a slight richness to it, considering the colder weather ahead, that's not a bad thing at all.
ConsThe scent is overwhelmingly strong and not to my liking. Despite having so many good qualities, the fragrance is so off-putting to me that it makes me forget all the positives. The scent is so intense that it even overpowers the For Cause tint fragrance, which isn't exactly subtle. I don't think I can use this more than once...

However, this means it might be a bit too rich for oily skin, so those with oily skin may need to finish with powder. The color naturally brightens, making it suitable even for darker skin tones. It's as smooth and hydrating as my favorite sunscreen, gliding on effortlessly. Knowing it's passed various irritation tests, safety checks, and blue light protection tests gives me peace of mind. The lightweight formula makes me reach for it even in hot summer weather.
ConsThere's some puff imprinting during application - note this is my personal experience and may vary. I used the puff that comes with the Chanel Le Blanc cushion. It's a bit inconvenient for oily skin types as it can feel quite greasy (though powder helps). The scent is really off-putting - there's a fishy odor and a strange smell reminiscent of baby diapers, which makes me hesitant to use it.
TipFor best results, apply this as the final step in your skincare routine, but only after allowing previous products to fully absorb. Otherwise, you might experience pilling.

Texture The consistency is just right - not too runny and easy to apply. It spreads smoothly without irritation. It leaves the skin moisturized, creating a perfect canvas for foundation. (When sunscreen is too dry, foundation tends to sit on top of the skin instead of blending into pores) 2. Minimal white cast It doesn't leave a white residue, just a slight brightening effect. The brightening effect doesn't last very long. 3. No blemishes Sometimes products I buy thinking they won't cause blemishes based on the ingredients still do... Fortunately, this one doesn't! It actually seems to have improved my skin condition.
Cons1. Scent This might be hit or miss for people. It has a floral scent, but personally I prefer the natural mix of floral and grassy scents you get at a flower market. This one smells a bit artificial, which I didn't like. If there are plans for a reformulation, I think unscented would be better. 2. Foundation clumping and pilling in oily areas like sides of the nose When I first wrote my review, I thought there was no pilling and wrote that it was good... But when my skin gets very oily, pilling does occur (see photo). This happens on oily areas like the sides of the nose and chin. It's not just this mineral sunscreen, but other mineral sunscreens do this too. Seems like all mineral sunscreens have this issue... It should be fine for those who don't have extremely oily skin! Anyway... that's why I'm giving it 3 stars. Other than that, there aren't really any cons? It's a bit pricey, but given the product quality, I don't think it's overpriced when bought on sale.
TipYou probably all know this, but just in case~~ Sunscreen should be applied 30 minutes before going outside.

You can easily purchase it at Olive Young, and it seems to go on sale quite often! The packaging and design, with its pale yellow color, give off a gentle vibe which I find pretty and appealing. The ingredients speak for themselves! I believe sunscreens can't always have perfect ingredients, but this product is still very satisfying in that regard! Not only are the ingredients good, but it also applies well! It spreads easily without any resistance. It feels a bit oily, so for combination-oily skin types, it might feel too greasy to use alone in summer. However, for those who apply matte makeup on top, this could provide a nice moisturizing base!
ConsI have sensitive, thin skin that's combination-oily. So even when I use products with good ingredients, if there's just one ingredient that doesn't agree with me, I tend to break out. Unfortunately, something in this product didn't suit me, and I developed some blemishes. I also found the fragrance to be quite strong. These days, wearing a mask is essential, and the strong scent kept circulating inside my mask, which gave me a headache. It's a floral scent, but it's quite intense. For summer use on its own, it might be too shiny. Many people are going for the 'foundation-free' look these days, just using sunscreen, but... I don't think this would work for that approach.

I've tried three types from Cell Fusion C: the Original, Triact, and this Derma Relief. The Original made my skin feel a bit sensitive with a burning sensation, so I stopped using it. Surprisingly, I finished a whole bottle of Triact. However, Triact felt a bit heavy, so I decided to try Derma Relief. True to its ingredient list, it was gentler on my skin compared to the Original and Triact. The application and overall experience were both great. It absorbs well and feels comfortable on the skin.
Cons#Oiliness This was the main reason I stopped using it. It's different from Triact's heaviness - this one applies lightly, but the finish feels oily. It's as if there's a layer of oil on the skin's surface. (Even my fingers are shiny after application!) #Fragrance I'm not usually sensitive to scents, but the fragrance in this one was a bit uncomfortable for daily use.
TipThe ingredients do seem suitable for use by pregnant women and infants.

I usually can't use chemical sunscreens because they cause blemishes... I'm even cautious with hybrid sunscreens, but this product is truly gentle.
ConsIt's a given that mineral sunscreens leave a white cast and can be drying. The texture is better than other mineral sunscreens I've tried (like Sidmool or Scinic). After using Cell Fusion C's Laser Sun Cream, this product feels a bit... well, mineral sunscreens are inconvenient. Still, if mineral sunscreen is your only option, I highly recommend this one. The biggest downside is the unpleasant smell. I wish they'd remove the fragrance... it's overpowering.

In contrast, Derma Relief has such gentle ingredients that I didn't experience any blemishes at all. Since my top priority when choosing cosmetics is whether they cause blemishes, I give it 5 stars on this point! ✔ Texture ⭐️⭐️⭐️ It applies smoothly like an emulsion. However, it absorbs rather slowly, so I spread it widely and generously. Compared to my previous sunscreen that absorbed instantly with just a quick rub, this one's absorption is a bit slower. If my previous one felt like an emulsion, Derma Relief feels more like a hydrating cream. I recommend applying a small amount! ✔ White Cast ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I barely noticed any white cast. Personally, I really like it. It truly feels like an emulsion. Highly recommended for those who dislike white cast!
Cons✔ Scent ⭐️⭐️ As I'm quite sensitive to fragrances, this aspect was disappointing. The artificial scent... to me, it smelled similar to sweet tangerines. Because of the fragrance, I found myself not reaching for it often.
