I first tried a sample from my dermatologist and loved it so much that now it's the only one I use. It's a mineral sunscreen, so at first I thought it might leave a white cast, but when you pat it in, it absorbs well. Thanks to that, it even provides a bit of coverage and slightly tightens the skin. For quick outings, I just apply this sunscreen and I'm good to go!
ConsWell, there's not much I dislike, but I wish it had a bit more coverage. The good thing is, the more you layer it, the better it looks.

Subtle brightening effect With my skin tone around 22.5, I usually dislike mineral sunscreens with strong white cast as they make me look ghostly. However, this one has a subtle brightening effect that looks natural. 2. Slightly covers redness My skin tends to have an overall flushed appearance, but when I apply this, it covers the redness a bit. Of course, since I don't have particularly fair skin, there is still a slight 'I'm wearing sunscreen' look, but it does seem to make the red areas appear less noticeable. 3. Powdery finish without pilling It has a powdery finish like a sun milk, but the best part is that it never pills even when reapplied multiple times.
Cons1. What's with the scent? It's a mix of sunscreen ingredients and natural essential oils, which I find a bit unpleasant. When I put on a mask after applying it, the smell keeps wafting up, which is bothersome. The fragrance is quite strong, so it can be a bit overwhelming at times. 2. Blurs wrinkles but doesn't help with enlarged pores While it has a blurring effect on wrinkles, it's not effective for enlarged pores. On areas where I've squeezed out blackheads, it settles into the pores, making them look like they're filled with white sebum. It makes my nose look... dirty. I think it's best to avoid applying it directly to pore-prone areas.

It's perfect for someone like me who's been looking for a lightweight sunscreen!
ConsI wouldn't expect much in terms of coverage. You'll need to reapply frequently!

I love that there's no white cast.
ConsIt's honest about not covering blemishes, but I think that's because it doesn't leave a white cast.

The absorption is great, and it has just the right amount of white cast. The scent is pleasant, and it doesn't rub off on masks, which is a plus.
ConsIt might be a bit too rich for those with oily skin. There's a white cast, but of course, it doesn't provide coverage.
TipThis seems like a product that would be suitable for everyone during the winter months.

It was my first time trying the Cell Fusion C sunscreen, and from the moment I applied it, I understood why it's so popular. It glides on incredibly smoothly and absorbs well. Many mineral sunscreens can be thick and hard to spread, but this one's easy application was what I liked most. There's minimal white cast, and it doesn't feel greasy. Instead, it leaves a nice matte finish. Please refer to the photo for reference.
ConsWhile it does provide some coverage, it felt slightly lacking (probably because my blemishes are quite severe). However, it's inevitable that natural look and coverage are often at odds with each other. Depending on your needs, this could be seen as either an advantage or a disadvantage!

Here's my review after using it diligently for two weeks. As someone who loves to sleep in and works in an environment where makeup isn't mandatory, I only use brightening moisturizer instead of foundation. So when buying sunscreen, I focus on evening skin tone, complexion refinement, and pore coverage. Now that I'm entering my 30s, my U-zone gets dry in winter and during seasonal changes, while my T-zone has become an oil field due to mask-wearing. I'll keep my combination skin type in mind for this review. Let's start with the positives: ❣️ It's hydrating! Due to deep dryness, I've tried several moisturizers this winter like Avène CPI and Physiogel AI. Even when I layered serums and creams for intense hydration in the morning, I'd still feel that deep dryness after removing my mask for lunch. But with this product, I never felt dry. I've always preferred sunscreens with a matte finish, so I never considered a hydrating type. Now I wonder if my previous sunscreens were actually causing dryness. ❣️ It absorbs well, like an emulsion I used to feel heavy-faced with hydrating sunscreens. Having only used matte-finish sunscreens, I felt this product was heavy and greasy for the first 1-2 uses, which was slightly uncomfortable. However, that heavy feeling didn't last long, and I got used to it after a day or two. ❣️ It's not sticky at all! ❣️ The ingredients are good, and it doesn't irritate my eyes. ❣️ The hydrating formula gives a nice glow. This could be a plus for those who like that dewy skin look. ❣️ While it's not exactly a brightening moisturizer, it does even out the complexion to some extent. ❣️ It's small and thin, perfect for carrying in your makeup pouch. Great for reapplying throughout the day, especially since I don't wear makeup.
Cons👎🏻 If you're expecting coverage or significant brightening... well, those with fair skin might not notice much difference. I have fair skin too, so when I first applied this product, I thought, 'Is there any difference?' :( When I used the Dr. G sunscreen, it covered even small pores, but this product, probably due to its emulsion-like texture, had almost no coverage :( 👎🏻 While the dewy glow is a plus, it might feel heavy for combination skin types like mine during summer. I'll have to use it up quickly before summer arrives. 👎🏻 Although it's portable, it would be great if they released a larger size for daily use!
TipWell, I don't have any special tips, but... since my T-zone gets oily quickly, I always use oil blotting sheets after it absorbs :( I think it might be difficult to use when the weather gets hotter, but it seems perfect for fall and winter!

I love how hydrating it is! This sunscreen is truly great for dry skin.
ConsWhile there's nothing really disappointing, I just wish it had a bit more coverage.

Whenever that ingredient is present, it oddly causes my acne to flare up. It's said to clog pores. There aren't many special ingredients, and the only cautionary ingredient is fragrance. It would have been even better without the fragrance. Compared to the Laser Sunscreen from the same brand Cell Fusion C, which has 6 potential allergens, it's clear that the Derma Relief Sunscreen is truly designed for sensitive skin. ⚡ Application This product breaks the stereotype that mineral sunscreens are thick and hard to spread. It applies smoothly with a hydrating feel and is very gentle. It does get a bit oily later, but I'm trying to think of it as a dewy glow. ⚡ Blemishes Used for 2 weeks. No blemishes so far. I'll update after using it for another month. Sunscreen-induced blemishes seem to either appear immediately or gradually damage the skin over time. So far, so good.
Cons🔥 Due to COVID, I'm wearing minimal makeup, so it's disappointing that this doesn't provide any coverage. There seems to be a white cast at first, but it gradually disappears, so it doesn't really have a brightening effect. It does make the skin look slightly brighter though. 🔥 (Winter) While it's relatively hydrating for a mineral sunscreen, it's still too dry for those with dry skin and can look patchy. You need to apply it on well-moisturized, flake-free skin that's been prepped with serum to get a smooth application. Updated review (excluding winter): It applies so smoothly and hydrating that it's hard to believe it's a mineral sunscreen. In winter, my dry skin made it look patchy, but in other seasons, it applies very smoothly with only slight settling into pores. However, it does get quite oily. It feels rich right after application, and throughout the day, it becomes very shiny. This might be a plus for dry skin types but a drawback for those with oily skin.

However, this product doesn't have those issues, which is great. I used to avoid mineral sunscreens entirely, but I'd definitely repurchase this one! I'm quite satisfied with how it leaves almost no white cast.
ConsIt offers no coverage whatsoever. You'll likely need to apply BB cream or powder on top. This could be seen as both an advantage and a disadvantage. While it lacks coverage, it does have a lightweight feel when applied.
TipFor those with oily skin, it's best to apply this mineral sunscreen over just the basics of your skincare routine. This helps prevent pilling and reduces shine in the afternoon. Since it doesn't provide coverage, mixing it with a CC cream could be a good option too.
